    Happy New Year Everett!. I'm south of you in Rochester NY. Yes , cloudy here as well for over a month. Chomping at the bit to get out. May 2023 bring more clear skies for all!

    Surprisingly there aren't that many UA-cam video reviews of the Explore Scientific iExos-100 mount so if you do one that should get you quite a few more reviews. I'd be keen to see what you think of the mount, particularly its tracking accuracy for astro photography, as I'm considering a small goto mount to use with my Spacecat 51 system.

      I will be doing a review in this mount shortly. Stay tuned.

    New subscriber here. I also have the iexos100 mount, which I use to drive my Astro Tech 72ED. Please keep posting. We need more channels that feature the iexos100. Greetings from Chile.

      Right back at ya bud. Thanks so much. Your take on Astro is really interesting. You literally use what you have. I liked your Frankenstein you made while at Alpha Scorpi. All the best in 2023.

    Hey nice work Astro Everett👍 You’ve had a similar year to myself! I bought Pixinsight and some new equipment and built myself an observatory 😀 I’m subbed to your channel. We have a similar philosoplhy, with me, what you see is what you get, like it or not! I’ve even used the same terminology in my Astro camp vid ‘Off the cuff’ no script! 😀 have a great 2023 and plenty of clear skies!

      Thanks Simon. I'm stubbed to your channel as well and have been following your observatory build. Very nice bud. I wish I could have an observatory. All the best to you as well in 2023 and keep up the great images.

    Happy new year Everett love your set up and pictures 📸 I got the same set up but can't get more then 15 sec of exposure any advice I would appreciate it

      Hi Jean. Thanks for watching. One thing to make sure is that your polar alignment is spot on. Seeing since the mount doesn't have a polar scope I use Nina's all star polar alignment. It works quite good. If not Nina.....sharpcap is available but the polar align feature cost some money where Nina is free.

    • @DJCASHCASH
      @DJCASHCASH Рік тому

      @@AstroEverett Yes I got my puller alignment spot on I tried Nina and sharp cap polar alignments always good excellent but I still can't have no more than 15 seconds exposure

    • @AstroEverett
      @AstroEverett  Рік тому

      Sorry to hear that you would get a new mount. Do you autoguide? If not I would suggest that before getting a new mount. That way with PhD2 guiding you can check your periodic error to make sure there is nothing wrong with your gears.

    I think that Explore Scientific doesn't give their mounts for free to all the known astro youtubers. So they don't review them 🙂. So I am waiting for your review before I buy one myself.

    • @AstroEverett
      @AstroEverett  Рік тому

      I hope to do one soon. Been wanting a clear night so as to be out with the mount while I go through everything.
