- It’s hard to believe that our baby is 2 years old already!
We have a tradition of giving our kids one present per day for the week leading up to their birthday! We’ve found that this spreads out the celebration and gives them more time to enjoy and savor each gift instead of lumping them all together in one day.

Because of the birthday tradition ya'll do of spreading the presents out all week long, our family started doing that a few years ago. BEST game changer ever!!! The kids get to enjoy each present and are not overwhelmed with a whole bunch at once and then having to decide which to play with first anymore. Thank you for the amazing idea of doing this

I watched this again for the 2nd time both girls look so much alike just twins. Jess has such big beautiful eyes and so do her daughters i also think Joy and her daughter also have the big beautiful eyes😊
It’s such a sweet relationship that the kids all have. Fern didn’t seem bothered at all that her siblings were helping her open the presents and even playing a little with them. Such a treasure!
I loved how they helped open them and handed them to her first they the checked them out later. And asking for cake bout just digging in respected boundaries and sanctity of her birthday. Well done, mom and dad.
Fern knows the trick- to nap when your baby is napping 🥰
She thought she could get into the cradle with her baby, lol. In a child development class I took, they showed a boy trying to get into a way too tiny car. The professor said that at 2 years old they don't understand size differences and believe they can get into something that's too little for them. It was interesting seeing Fern trying to fit into the cradle. 😊

@@cj_dmc_3 it definitely is. I know at least 5 or 6 (maybe more...I lost track 🤪) born the same day. One even a few hours apart from me. Yet at the same time I know so many born the last 10 days of September it's ridiculous 😆.

Oh no lol, Fern is the image of Ben's sister, can't think of her name, the younger one who has been married twice to men in uniform. The likeness is uncanny, Ivy is very much like Jessa.

Happy birthday, happy Fern! We had a Belle Princess dress. It left glitter everywhere. It was a gorgeous dress, but the glitter was ridiculous! Its like they loaded it up as full as they could with glitter and then decided to send it back through again for more. Turned any little girl wearing the dress into a gold dust sprinkle machine!
