I had 5 brothers growing up. I loved coming from a large family. My mom and dad took great care of us as we all played sports and other activities that they were always driving us to and from. I always had playmates, and my parents were careful to not make the older kids responsible for parenting the younger kids because they were too busy. We all had wonderful full lives. Fern is like my mom when my son, their first grandchild, was born (on Dec 19 as well!). I was young and was still living with them at that time. She’d hold him constantly lol. Wow, I can’t believe how much attention Fern is giving George 😂. I have 5 kids and they love their baby sister, but nobody has been nearly that attentive. My 2-yr-old just started playing with her now that she’s 6 months old and crawling. Fern is adorable!
