@KeepinIt100OFFICIAL I appreciate you all's show, but w/ all due respect, let's give all the facts. When CM Punk 1st came to AEW, he didn't come there to start any trouble, b/c what would be the reason for him to do so? He was doing a great job moving merchandise and selling out arenas. Then, that's when the dirt sheets conveniently started a rumor that he allegedly got Colt Cobana fired. Tony Khan & Punk both stated that it never happened. In fact, Cobana was in ROH. However, Tony came out way too late & allowed it to fester w/ the locker room. From there, Adam Page shooted on CM Punk based on this rumor & went into business for himself. That's what started these chains of events. Then, Punk tried to be the professional & talked to Tony about it & nothing happened b/c Tony let Page get away w/ that scott-free, which was a poor decision b/c now he's indirectly communicating to all the talent, that this behavior is acceptable & now a precedent is set. So, Punk shooted right back at Page on another episode & gave him a verbal receipt & rightfully so. From there, many in "The Elite's" camp were going back to the dirt sheets & gossiping about every little thing regarding Punk (and they were working overtime) at which point, he had enough & just exploded at the media scrum. After getting poked & prodded, & seeing nothing being done by Tony Khan, it's understandable why he lashed out. Although Punk didn't handle himself in the right manner, EVERYTHING he said was 1000% true. He was working w/ children. "The Elite" were upset that someone actually had the gumption to call them out on their stuff, so they barged into his locker room as the EVPs, which makes them legally responsible should any legal action be pursued by Punk, b/c they entered his personal space, not the other way around. Let's be clear we don't know who hit who 1st b/c none of us were there & we may never know. Fast forward, they all get suspended. "The Elite" comes back & the 1st thing they do is add fuel to the fire by mocking Punk in a match in Chicago, but no harm, no file, right? They made themselves look very unprofessional in that moment. During this time, Punk is still gone for months & haven't said one word & Meltzer & the rest of the dirt sheets are throwing hit piece after hit piece consistently. I wonder why? Meltzer & the dirt sheets did this for "The Elite" & themselves b/c they were all mad that Punk called them out too. Also, I believe "The Elite" were jealous of how Punk had become the biggest draw of a company that they had started. So, the hit pieces were a means to hinder his drawing ability & to get the fans to turn on him & they succeeded. I will not get into All In at Wembley b/c we saw how this turned out. Both Punk & Perry were in the wrong. I'll just say this, Punk made some poor decisions & he was wrong in the way he handled most of the situations. I understand that you guys may not like Punk & that's your right. However, he was not the main problem. He was being provoked intentionally by "The Elite" & the dirt sheets. As far as I'm concerned, EVERYONE in this situation is to be blamed b/c ALL of them played a role in it. Punk wasn't being a locker room cancer. However, his actions didn't help him at all, which fed into that line of attack, unfortunately.
Konnan and Disco having to pretend that every guy they shared a locker room with 20+ years ago (including themselves) wouldn’t have done this faster and harsher to the nepo-babies backstage.
To be fair around that time was in ring punishment and they're definitely not talking about that. In the '90's Jungle Jack-off would have gotten another match with Rush, but it would have been twice as brutal and half the length.
No. We just find out how much of a badass Kenny Omega is. Why don't you go up and lay hands on him and see what happens to you. I guarantee you he's not going to run away sucking his thumb. And you definitely are not going to walk away. They're probably going to have to call an ambulance
Hangman threw the first punch, tony let shit get out of control, and the young bucks fan the flames through meltzer when punk continually asks for piece talks to do real business. Punks not innocent in this by not being mentally disciplined to not react to shit but tk is the one responsible for letting this get out of hand. Instead of tk Being a boss and saying we’re gonna spin this into business.
I have listened to hours upon hours of CM Punk/AEW discussions over the last 12+ months and watched almost zero hours of AEW television. It was very foolish for all of the people involved to realize how much money could be made if they just sucked it up and worked together for while.
Sad to say but punk just seems like a child spoiled but still cranky and angry. I like him but this run wasn't good for his overall character arch.. disappointing and confirmed bad rumors
@linewalker What onscreen product? The one that is outdrawn by a dull, decade old sitcom in syndication? Punk was not given a fair deal but he contributed to his own demise. All parties involved pissed away a chance to make legit money and prove that they're adults.

You are 1000% Spot On all the way!!! Hangman should have been instantly punished for that promo and None of this BS would have went down. Tony Khan is not a good leader or booker, as much as I wish he wish so AEW could be outstanding.
@jtsra7 Adam Page was rewarded for his outburst. If he was in a locker room with people like The Undertaker & others, he would've gotten himself chewed out by the boys & Vince. Moreover, he would've been deemed a liability & none boys would want to work with him. Most of the AEW roster have never paid their dues & that's why they feel entitled.
The indy kid don't cost as much and only has had one issue. Punk isn't the the draw you all try to claim. It's a small loud minority that follow him. He isnt a big draw
CM Punk isn’t even that big of a draw. He hasn’t done anything exciting since the MJF feud. Also CM Punk is old and doesn’t have many years left, Jack Perry is young.
I can't believe that Tony Khan was legally advised to use the term "feared for my life". He was right to fire CM Punk but you can't help but laugh right at Tony Khan for making himself sound to weak.
According to Jim cornettes podcast I guess Wembley stadium has cameras everywhere so it's rumored there's footage of him attacking tony Khan. If true I want to see it . I'm also surprised no footage ever leaked since everyone has a camera phone . So I question the accuracy of that rumor
"Feared for my life" is total Lawyer speak to cover ass. Too bad this is a public incident in a simulated combat company. Which is why when the snowman announced the firing of Punk, a FEMALE fan called him a "Pussy". 😂😂😂😂 This company has lost it.
@@whisperienced I mean if punk in fact attacked tony Khan than that's wrong on punk and rightfully deserves to be fired . They knew punk has a temper putting the company there running and possibly putting others in danger so they baited him but bruh grabbing your boss is a different thing entirely
A lot of people are ignoring everything but Punk's actions in this scenario. Getting into a heated physical fight with your coworkers is one thing, but if they're constantly coming up to you and harrassing you for weeks and weeks before that, it's not quite the same thing. And I know alot of fans are going to scoff at that, but the courts are gonna care.
Jesus Christ hangmans promo was so vanilla it showed how fragile Punks ego really is. You delusional punk marks need to stop defending his 5h!+ behavior.
It's a Boomer/Gen X blindspot, they only comprehend bullying if it involves violence so this politicking manipulative nonsense in the locker room is "acceptable behavior" 🙄 I wish I was kidding, it varies, but it's definitely an issue that does not register with them.
Tony Khan is clearly the problem here. he has let things go on too long, and has no control of his own company. he needed to set boundaries early with CM punk and some of the others and he clearly didn't that's why he's in the position he's in.
Before Punk did the All Out press scrum, Hangman did a promo on tv going in to business for himself and there were rumours that Punk got Colt Cabana fired when he was the top babyface. Tony didn't punish Hangman, didnt address the rumours, and the Young Bucks came back before Punk when they went to his locker room with a bunch of other guys after Punk invited them to fight if they had an issue at the press scrum. Now Jack Perry did the same thing with the glass spot AFTER AEW employees asked Punk to talk to Perry about it. Tony again did nothing, I dont blame him for taking things into his own hands. These ignorant kids do whatever they want, dont listen to the veterans and the boss isn't doing a damn thing. Maybe Punk had a short fuse but he was passionate about making that company better and the wrestlers. Real glass can kill someone, Perry's an idiot and you dont start rumours about your top guy- I'm sure if someone did that to Taker, that guy would get his ass beat.
Didn’t this start though with page going into business for himself on Punk, TK not doing anything about it and then Punk retaliating later at the Brawl out post fight presser? Also if the young bucks are kicking down your door wouldn’t the first reaction be to throw hands? They’re already being aggressive and coming at you kicking down the door. You gotta defend yourself.
You are correct this whole thing started when page cut that promo going into business for himself on punk and then punk called him out and nothing was done then either. This whole thing falls on TK being a spineless boss. He’s dealing with wrestlers and their egos and you being the boss have to check that or else there is chaos! And case in point you break a record in London and no one cares. Also disco is very wrong.
Tony Khan, could of drew serious money with Punk and his backstage controversy. Once upon a time wrestlers had these issues. The promoter would turn it into an angle. A bunch of marks are running the wrestling business
I don't understand how Punk's All Out rant is the "first punk" when he was responding to Page's shots on him during their promo. Why do people keep moving that goal post to make him look worse than he does? Page isn't blameless in any of this.
Jesus Christ hangmans promo was so vanilla it shows how fragile Punks ego really is. You delusional punk marks need to stop defending his 5h!+ behavior.
I think what’s happened is the mindset regarding expectations has trended with ease of information. Now everyone can get anything now and quickly. It’s about instant gratification, which is why Tik Tok is so popular. I think this is also why the style of wrestling has changed; everyone just wants to see how many high spots can be seen in a ten minute match and they don’t want to wait for a build they think that’s boring.
Yeah, and when someone like Punk comes along to try and make wrestling great again, bitches like the evps and Jungletwink get all pissy. Punk was doing great numbers until the evps fucked all of this up by breaking into Punks locker room. I don't believe any reports that don't ensiuate that Punk was defending himself...
Its refreshing to hear an honest take on the matter rather than the pro punk propaganda coming from Cornette. Punk is objectively a troublemaker. Thanks for keeping it 💯
i don’t think Punk ever respected the indie wrestlers in AEW. didn’t Cody leave AEW cause he didn’t like the direction AEW was going creatively ? It seems like Punk and Cody thought the same way about how pro wrestling should be.
The indie wrestlers only know how milk Tony khan for money. They aren't there to make good wrestling.they hate being told what to do or how their wrestling doesn't sell
Indie vs Professional wrestling are 2 different things, AEW has missed so many opportunities to grow and this goes back to the Young Bucks. TK decided to stick by them when he should’ve taken Cody’s/CM Punk side.

I saw an AEW mark say “Vince McMahon would have been scared been hiding behind Triple H” 😂😂😂. Vince would have been taking off his shirt and ready to throw down. In fact Vince would have probably gotten some good shots in on old Phil Brooks. Vince didn’t back down from Brock Lesnar when Brock threw the belt at him a few years ago and we all know the Screw job story where he told Bret take your free shot now. Vince isn’t afraid of Phil fucking Brooks. 🤣🤣🤣

I remember a few years ago Punk said the Bucks had text him asking if he would be interested in joining AEW and Punk didnt see it as a serious way to do business or make an offer. He never took the Bucks or AEW and the way they do business seriously. He had hopes for TK but Tony didnt take charge of the situation and allowed it to get worse. Punk went into AEW with a target on his back and the more he reacted to the provocations the bigger the target got. Dont forget the travel problems Punk had getting to Wembley. AEW made their top star ask fans to guide him on public transport in another country. That would piss off any top star before they even get to the venue then he sees Perry say "real glass go cry me a river" on camera Punk werent in the mood to let that slide 😂
I just can't 😂 I can't take this shit seriouly , punk was messed with and poked since day one, but that's just ingnored and pushed aside because Meltzer says so.
Punk is fine. He knows that no matter what he does he's going to be valuable to any company he works for. Tony Kahn is a meatball that needs a serious haircut.
While they are sitting here pointing fingers, in order for a company to be legitimate and respected you have to set up rules and regulations. I agree with Konnan.
Now, before I start watching, the clip is called "KONNAN reacts to...", so is it that? Or is it Konan repeatedly saying "Well, you know-" and being cut off by Disco?
A lot of comments on vids like this comparing hbk’s actions in the 90s to Punk. HBK became ‘Heartbreak Kid’ in 92, when he was 27. Kliq was formed in 95 when he was 30. He faced taker and hurt his back in casket match when he was 33. Punk is 44 with grey in his hair and he still acts like a douche. Learned a long time ago, never trust someone that’s straight edge. Their drug of choice is narcissism.
@emanuelfer456 it’s not just drugs & alcohol. It’s also tobacco and sometimes caffeine. & that has nothing to do with aggression, it’s a sense of self superiority that tends to be a character trait of those that are straight edge.
Straight edge ppl typically have other issues. They become unhinged. Ego maniacs. They think they're better than you. Etc. It's weird. Usually they become straight edge because they had a father who was an abusive drunk and they are traumatized from it. So they go straight edge like 70 percent of straight edgers are like that. The other 30 percent are the type who tried drinking. Smoking weed and they just didn't like it. So they're straight edge.
Dude. “Konnan” should be a commentator on WWE. I’d love it. Such a good vibe and just real as heck. Paul HHH. needs to hire him. Simple as that. And that’s if konnan would want to.
CM Punk should’ve been fired the second the All Out scrum ended, he overtalked the Owner, trash talked people who had nothing to do with selling matches, and then got into a fight with 3 Executives he publicly called out and tried to “Punk” them He was a cancer who’s spread to other people in the company
Sonny Kiss was very lucky he was employed for so long. AEW viewers were very unlucky that Sonny Kiss was ever employed by AEW. The dude has never had a good match in his life.
@KeepinIt100OFFICIAL Bucks were telling Dirtsheets that Punk wanted Colt gone which Tony denied. Hangman went off script cutting a promo on Punk. They shouldn't have burst into Punks locker room after that scrum where Ace Steeles wife was... back in the day, what does it mean when 3 + people bursts into someone's lockeroom? Punk said it best...he worked with "children". EVPs should know better. I'm not a mega Punk fan but I see more of a wrestler in him than the Bucks or sad face Jack Perry. They were unprofessional. They all were. But I don't think Punk started it all.
Punk was responding to Adam Page in the first incident (he didn't start) and in this instance he's responding to Jack Perry..again he didn't start that either...I like Disco but he sounds like a fuckin hater here because punk didn't start either situation
@philwalsh8975 No, he's pretty accurate with what he's saying. Adam Page shooting on CM Punk & going into business for himself, started these chains of events. It's really that simple.
I think Vince would bring in Punk for select dates, initially, if just to pour salt - including acknowledging on TV Punk fired for beating up their locker room.

I am really shocked by disco's take on this. Say what you want about Punk, as he is a polarizing individual, but he was not wrong in this situation. The elite were spreading misinformation about him through Meltzer, and Paige went into business for himself on Punk before Punk did anything. Wild Punk did publicly insult the elite, they are still vice presidents of the company, and should be held to a higher standard than Punk. They should have been fired on the spot for going into his dressing room. Perry should have been fired for running his mouth at the Pay-Per-View. Tony Khan created this situation. He could have stopped it at any point before the situation became what it was. Tony chose to let it fester and not do anything. He could have stopped it before the first blow up, but because he's such a mark for the elite, he chose not to do anything. Every bit of this was Tony Khan's fault, not punks
Exactly! This is the accurate and honest take. People seem to have amnesia b/c they like to leave out the details of Page cutting an unscripted promo on Punk based on a false rumor.
Find it funny how Disco says the media is trying to make Trump look a certain way but doesn’t see the parallel with the Punk slander n the dirt sheets 😴 definitely not telling the full story tho lmao
Punk never had a chance.....all the blogs, podcasters ruin his wrestling career before it re jump back up when he was returning to wrestling honestly he could be a good boy it was still coming.....just take longer
Not to indulge in the conspiracy theories, but as a serious question. If Sullivan was that upset over short jokes, did he ever try anything with Benoit for taking his wife? That shit would be like the midget fight on Jerry Springer.
Tony Khan is to blame for most of the CM Punk/Elite drama. TK is the quintessential Rich Kid whose Daddy is a Real Businessman, but He's just a Fanboy who has no clue of how to run a successful business.
How has Jeff Jarrett ruined AEW? He's semi-retired, with more involvement in creative and backstage duties, with occasional in-ring action, just as Dustin Rhodes and Sting.
Lol not much to ruin… he looks like he’s 16. No one can nor will believe he can beat anyone of significance. He’s a fluffer. A bottom of the card act. A curtain jerker. Will never be good at it. He’s got the job because his daddy paid for him to be in the indies for a little bit.
Buried? If they're smart this the perfect angle for him. I'd make him just like the Rated R Superstar and treat this like Edge and Matt Hardy. I'd let Jack walk out with the AEW title and bury Punk on the mic, hell I'd even make him the new "cult of personality". It's going to draw massive heat and might even bring Punk back, I know watching those drunk drug induced tirades Matt was doing on his youtube channel I thought he'd never go back to WWE during that time, but he did and it made him and Edge bigger stars for it.
It's very clear, that after the Raw visit, when the evps resigned multi year deals, that Punk and HHH planned a way out. No wonder survivor series is in Chicago this year. I can't wait for Team Cena vs Team Punk at survivor series wargames. Cena, Cody, Knight, Orton, and Jey Vs Punk, Roman, Solo, Jimmy, and Gunther. Book it HHH. Ha.
There is definitely blame to go around. Punk flipped, but after a day where he didn’t have a number for car service to pick him up in England. He had to ride the subway, fans helped him get to Wembley. He was supposed to meet the Elite a few days before, The Elite cancelled. Then a pre-show douche in Jack Perry insulted him on camera. I’d have hit Perry too. AEW is not good, they are trying but it sucks. MJF, FTR, The Bullet Club Gold, & sometimes Omega are good, the rest do the same match every night, but it isn’t interesting. Orange Cassidy is awful. They need a real booker, not Tony Khan. Punk overreacted, and is definitely got blame, but Tony not managing his talent is the problem. He is a mark.
Disco must of forgot that Adam Page went into business for himself with the shoot promo towards punk. So who started the problem? Now, Perry decides to go into business for himself. So who started the problem? Where is the hypocrisy?

"never trust someone that’s straight edge" thats stupid.
So now I'm aggressive because I dont drink, use drugs or smoke.
@emanuelfer456 it’s not just drugs & alcohol. It’s also tobacco and sometimes caffeine. & that has nothing to do with aggression, it’s a sense of self superiority that tends to be a character trait of those that are straight edge.
Hating someone because they don’t put toxic things into their body …is interesting….
@superkickciry1610 equating not trusting to hating…interesting…
Man Ive been waiting for this reaction all week. Finaaaaallllllyyyyy!!!
CM Punk should’ve been fired the second the All Out scrum ended, he overtalked the Owner, trash talked people who had nothing to do with selling matches, and then got into a fight with 3 Executives he publicly called out and tried to “Punk” them
He was a cancer who’s spread to other people in the company
the fact that Punk wasn't fired after All Out 2022 was a bad, bad look for Tony Khan.
Punk keeps podcasts alive since 2013
Sonny Kiss was very lucky he was employed for so long.
AEW viewers were very unlucky that Sonny Kiss was ever employed by AEW.
The dude has never had a good match in his life.
The Pepsi lunge
EVP's and Hangman started it all with Meltzer and their drama b.s.
nope.
@@danifrost1183 Punk did want Colt gone though, all of that stuff is true. He tried to get him fired, the locker room protested.
In the aj lee book she talks about cm punks mental health stuff
Punk was responding to Adam Page in the first incident (he didn't start) and in this instance he's responding to Jack Perry..again he didn't start that either...I like Disco but he sounds like a fuckin hater here because punk didn't start either situation
You're pretty clueless on this it seems.
@philwalsh8975 No, he's pretty accurate with what he's saying. Adam Page shooting on CM Punk & going into business for himself, started these chains of events. It's really that simple.
@@Drexel344 I love that all the CM Punk marks think that NOTHING AT ALL went on behind the scenes before Page did a wrestling promo.
@@philwalsh8975 Okay, if something went on behind the scenes, please enlighten us.
@@Drexel344 are you THAT dumb that you would think I am inside scoop? What I'm saying is, stop being a mark and read between the lines like an adult
I think Vince would bring in Punk for select dates, initially, if just to pour salt - including acknowledging on TV Punk fired for beating up their locker room.
If Vince and HHH and Punk can put their ego's aside They should sign him to a 3 month contract, work an angle with someone with the understanding he's going to put them over ... think of all the money they could make and all the merch they could sell ...
Plan to use the app you suggested to support right after video, thanks
Disco's bias against Punk is sad.
Punk sucks
hes old he never was a draw he’s difficult to work with
@@blackout8777 you are a mark who doesn’t know anything and are just repeating nonsense you’ve heard from dirt sheets.
I hate cm punk, but it is apparent that him and konnan are clearly friends with the bucks and Tony lmao.
@@andygarza8132 that’s the thing man… thank you for being honest enough to acknowledge it. Not everybody defending Punk is doing to because they are a Punk mark, but everybody trashing him are doing of because they are AEW marks or have some personal issue with Punk.
I personally don’t care about Punk as a person.. I think straight edge people are douchebags, and I think his politics are pathetic, but the fcking guy understand Pro-Wrestling better than 99% of the people in the business today.
People say he was selfish and only out for himself, but all he did the whole time he was on AEW is try to elevate guys he saw potential in, and didn’t want the goofballs killing shows by doing too much.
Say what u want bout punk but punk got everybody watching wrestling again and got you guys talking about him whether its negative or positive publicity its publicity and wwe bringing cody back
(1) Ppl were watching wrestling before Punk returned. (2) The whole "all publicity is good publicity" phrase is nonsense. Ppl were talking about OJ Simpson during his murder trial. Does that mean his phone is ringing off the hook with business offers? No. (3) If Punk needs to drum up controversy to increase his stock to where WWE would be interested in bringing him back, then it proves that he clearly isn't a draw.
@@decepticonxhunter4850 u clearly misread what i saying and obviously helped me more because did cm punk did anything like OJ????? I believe not.....if u not a cm punk fan just say that nobody wasnt watching AEW like that lets be real they brought at least 10 superstars from wwe amd no one had a draw like punk get your facts straight

Immaturity leads to Unprofessionalism....
Find it funny how Disco says the media is trying to make Trump look a certain way but doesn’t see the parallel with the Punk slander n the dirt sheets 😴 definitely not telling the full story tho lmao
The disco ball dropped on DI's head several times
Tony wasn't smart enough to turn the drama and heat into an angle to make money.
Punk never had a chance.....all the blogs, podcasters ruin his wrestling career before it re jump back up when he was returning to wrestling honestly he could be a good boy it was still coming.....just take longer
Tiny Con should fear for his life every time he mixes that coke with Adderall 😂
Not to indulge in the conspiracy theories, but as a serious question. If Sullivan was that upset over short jokes, did he ever try anything with Benoit for taking his wife? That shit would be like the midget fight on Jerry Springer.
Throw the spreaker link into the descriptions from now on, easier for us smelly marks to find it
I CAN. NOT. WAIT for the Dark Side Of The Ring about AEW.
Tony Khan is to blame for most of the CM Punk/Elite drama.
TK is the quintessential Rich Kid whose Daddy is a Real Businessman, but He's just a Fanboy who has no clue of how to run a successful business.
Punk will have his own dark side episode.
Jeff Jarrett has been absolutely ruined in AEW
How has Jeff Jarrett ruined AEW? He's semi-retired, with more involvement in creative and backstage duties, with occasional in-ring action, just as Dustin Rhodes and Sting.
@@Mr.Majestic77 Texas Chainsaw Massacre match
What were you saying again?
To be fair, Jarrett did win that match to become Texas Chainsaw Massacre champion.
😅
Instead of growing up and being an adult, Tony reverted back to a teenager.
Jack Perry has been absolutely ruined in AEW
His current gimmick is better than the goofball gimmick he had but he isn’t believable
@@BSultimate he's so buried
You can't ruin no2, Jack Perry is a shitty wrestler, he'll never be more than an indie wrestler.
It's going to draw massive heat and might even bring Punk back, I know watching those drunk drug induced tirades Matt was doing on his youtube channel I thought he'd never go back to WWE during that time, but he did and it made him and Edge bigger stars for it.
my favorite thing is Konnan just fucking off when he feels like it
It's very clear, that after the Raw visit, when the evps resigned multi year deals, that Punk and HHH planned a way out. No wonder survivor series is in Chicago this year.
I can't wait for Team Cena vs Team Punk at survivor series wargames.
Cena, Cody, Knight, Orton, and Jey
Vs
Punk, Roman, Solo, Jimmy, and Gunther.
Book it HHH.
Ha.
you are just as delusional as punk is lol
Frack Omega, the Bucks, Hangman Page, Eddie Kingston and that little piece of debris Perry
He is a mark.
i don't believe that story at all.
Flair and bischoff had genuine heat
Disco must of forgot that Adam Page went into business for himself with the shoot promo towards punk. So who started the problem? Now, Perry decides to go into business for himself. So who started the problem? Where is the hypocrisy?
Is there something wrong with your brain that you don't think ANYTHING happened behind the scenes before Adam Pages' promo?
If Matt Hardy and Edge could make a angle and work together over Lita, then anybody should be able to
