WWE had from 2014 to 2021 to re-sign Punk and they didn't do it. If they didn't do it then, why would they do it now? His matches and promos in AEW were pretty average.
When you look at how he left WWE in 2014 just walking out on them, how he trashed them in a podcast in late 2014…. How he conducted himself at the media scrum in front of Tony Khan last year, the altercation that followed. Then the altercation at Wembley before his match on the biggest show in the history of the company putting his match in jeopardy, making Khan fear for his safety, this is the owner of the company…. Why would you ever think WWE would want someone like that back in their locker room knowing the enormous liability that he is? I mean say they brought him back and he screwed up again now they open themselves up to a huge lawsuit because of all this track record of being violet. I don’t think there’s even a sliver of a chance WWE brings him back? No reward. Ain’t like guy drew ratings. Dynamite was doing 1,000,000+ viewers for a number of weeks before Punk signed with the company and was doing 800k ish in the months leading up to his departure.
Your whole statement is misinformation. Punk told wwe he was going home he didn’t have a storyline and he was later suspended and fired he had his consequences done to him. Unprofessional yes but he was punished for it. Punk on the podcast said what he had to say wwe didn’t sue him for it. The whole 1mill ratings had a lot to do with rumors of punk coming back. The 800k ish rating comment makes no sense since he isn’t even on that show. The whole Perry altercation would have never happened because wwe is scripted and no undercard talent would get away with what Perry did. Punk wouldn’t have had to say or do anything Perry would have gotten his butt chewed out as soon as he came backstage by hhh Vince agents and probably would have been fired. And punk is no more of a liability for lawsuits backstage than someone like Brock or anyone else that has been in a backstage situation.
@@bigc2626 - NWO literally makes Punk an angel but Vince is smart enough to know what makes money and business. AEW WERE doing 1mill .. escalated to 1.2mill when Punk first arrived.. And in the ensuing months when Punk wasn't on ratings are now around 860k average dropping as low as 700k when bucks or female wrestlers are on. Even Shawn Mchaels makes Punk seem like an alter boy.. Rock when he first started he was literally given a shit sandwich which Mark Henry saved him from eating.. So my point being.. the difference is in WWE they work it out like real men.. AEW they're too emotional and worry about their 'feelings' .. which is why AEW will amount to nothing as long as TK is running the show.
I hope to see CM Punk in WWE. I know he has an attitude problem but if he pulls the same stuff in WWE, they'd kick his ass and get rid of him quickly. WWE doesn’t need Punk and this time Punk doesn’t have as big of a fanbase to back him. Also it will massively demoralize Tony Khan to the core.
Its funny cuz the wrestling media been reporting Roman vs Rock for years...still haven't happened yet and Punk to WWE I highly doubt it. It's not worth it imo
The Jey Uso stuff on RAW makes sense since all of those who aren't happy with him switching brands stem from his time with the Bloodline. But wouldn't be surprised if they brought Jey back so quickly because of the Punk drama
A comeback is an absolute definite. The Rock & Nick Khan=Tight. The Rock & Punk=Tight. Punks buzz words during his Guest Commentary at an MMA event last night. Some clues for a Survivor Series return?
No One is in charge at AEW that's why this stuff happens , no worries about that in WWE everybody knows who is in charge so Punk coming back would not be a problem.
Disco literally underestimates how quick wwe is able to forgive, also punk knows he wouldn’t get away with stuff over there because the difference between Vince and Hunter vs Tony is they don’t try to befriend their talent all the time
The part I disagree with Disco about is saying that because Survivor Series will sell out that Punk isn't needed. The WWE brand is strong but what happens in the ring, on tv, that matters. I think it would be very entertaining to see Punk come back especially at SS. You have to remember, you might sell out the house but if the show sucks....And you also have to factor in people watching at home.
If they were to sign Punk (I would), I'd have him lead Diamond Mine and be a manager & part-time wrestler. Just like Roman, I don't need him wrestling every week. Having him on the mic and joining the broadcast booth during matches would help the up & coming talent like The Creeds get over immediately.
I mean I could see an epic promo of CM Punk on Roman Reigns why he’s been champion for a couple of years. I’m looking at this at an entertainment standpoint
This makes that one time where Punk was backstage at a WWE RAW and apparently burying the hatchet with Triple H and the Miz all the more interesting a thing to have happen. I'd be shocked if Punk doesn't return to WWE by Survivor Series in Chicago. He'll get the same level of pop he got when he debuted in AEW.

Triple H is a stronger leader than Tony. Punk won't have to call out children anymore
I always felt that as soon as punk came back to aew that he was going to try and find a way to get fired or released out of his contract so that he could go back.
I'd like to see him appear at the royal rumble and get inducted to the hall of fame. As a fan, it would give me closure considering how he left and the legacy he left behind.
WWE had from 2014 to 2021 to re-sign Punk and they didn't do it. If they didn't do it then, why would they do it now? His matches and promos in AEW were pretty average.
Well Vince McMahon has brought back the Ultimate Warrior and Sable
But neither of them went around starting fights and hitting people
@@ziggypop79 well maybe these Indy Morons need to learn to keeped their mouths shut and listen and stop listening to Meltzer
@@ziggypop79true but Sable sued for BIG money and made all sorts of accusations.
@@Jffeeney3rdwell bringing Punk back should not be a problem
Seth Rollins has made it publicly known he doesn't want CM Punk in the locker room.
The more I listen to disco the more I wanna barf
Roman was that top star.. He said he knew punk would do business..
Punk is a narcissist diva and drama queen. Plus he is lawsuit happy. He's a huge liability to do business with. The juice is not worth the squeeze.
How is Punk lawsuit? What lawsuits have he filed? He's been sued though you doof
@@Charles-qw5ug my fault. Punk is a total innocent victim of circumstance, every time. I just now noticed the wings and the halo. My apologies. 😒
@@bigc2626 look I am a punk fan but I know he has issues. But I’m also not going to pretend everything is punks fault either.
Thank you Konnan for your unbiased takes. Sick of Disco’s bias takes on Punk. Disco been hating on Punk since he first got to AEW.
I love k dogg just chilling watching the convo
I hope to see CM Punk in WWE. I know he has an attitude problem but if he pulls the same stuff in WWE, they'd kick his ass and get rid of him quickly. WWE doesn’t need Punk and this time Punk doesn’t have as big of a fanbase to back him.
Also it will massively demoralize Tony Khan to the core.
Facts
Its funny cuz the wrestling media been reporting Roman vs Rock for years...still haven't happened yet and Punk to WWE I highly doubt it. It's not worth it imo
HHH will be more than happy to bring back Punk. Punk can talk shit to AEW in his promos, plus that pop from the crowd would be crazy loud
Imo not only are co-workers tired of Punk but now fans are starting to get tired of his shit as well.
The Jey Uso stuff on RAW makes sense since all of those who aren't happy with him switching brands stem from his time with the Bloodline. But wouldn't be surprised if they brought Jey back so quickly because of the Punk drama
“One final thing to consider….is survivor series is in Chicago this year!”
Never been a punk guy and I don’t want him in WWE , but I wouldn’t mind having him come back and open smackdown with a promo shitting on the elite
WWE doesnt need him , why would yu bring in a guy that is toxic after finalizing an epic deal .. it doesnt make sense
A comeback is an absolute definite. The Rock & Nick Khan=Tight. The Rock & Punk=Tight. Punks buzz words during his Guest Commentary at an MMA event last night. Some clues for a Survivor Series return?
Cm punk makes wwe millions within a week
Pay up disco lol
No One is in charge at AEW that's why this stuff happens , no worries about that in WWE everybody knows who is in charge so Punk coming back would not be a problem.
A lot of people hate punk. Roman, Seth, Owens, and AJ Styles
He's not going back. Besides he has no leverage wwe doesn't need him he needs them
Disco literally underestimates how quick wwe is able to forgive, also punk knows he wouldn’t get away with stuff over there because the difference between Vince and Hunter vs Tony is they don’t try to befriend their talent all the time
The part I disagree with Disco about is saying that because Survivor Series will sell out that Punk isn't needed. The WWE brand is strong but what happens in the ring, on tv, that matters. I think it would be very entertaining to see Punk come back especially at SS. You have to remember, you might sell out the house but if the show sucks....And you also have to factor in people watching at home.
As usual disco is wrong again
Damn, disco talking like punk f'd his girl.
Punk learning mma is like that bully kid whose father gets him into Karate to learn discipline but instead he uses it to be more of a bully.
He's the current AEW World Champion. Of course he's gonna show up in WWE.
@ Disco?? (CM-PUNK) WASNT A CANCER IN THE WWE LOCKER ROOM.
Disco tripping.
Has he forgotten those immortal words: Then
Now
Together
Forever
....💰
Disco is wrong on this
I mean I could see an epic promo of CM Punk on Roman Reigns why he’s been champion for a couple of years. I’m looking at this at an entertainment standpoint
I think WWE has a better chance of signing Disco than punk
The question is whats best for business?
Exactly and is Punk finally willing to do business?
@@KeepinIt100OFFICIAL I bet he will.
100%
This makes that one time where Punk was backstage at a WWE RAW and apparently burying the hatchet with Triple H and the Miz all the more interesting a thing to have happen.
I'd be shocked if Punk doesn't return to WWE by Survivor Series in Chicago. He'll get the same level of pop he got when he debuted in AEW.
I respect Konnan. Easy to try and make others the butt of your material to get a gimmick over like basically everybody else does..
Konnan gives his honest opinion Even if somebody will take liberties with him like Cornette did
WWE DONT NEED CM PUNK!!!!
Roman and seth rollins are the reason punk won't return besides Vince
I want punk to be in WWE now only for disco to be wrong.
What's changed is Vince and Triple H arent fully in control anymore
I think WWE needs a third brand (that isnt NXT) to fit all their talent.. especially if CM Punk comes back
If Cena pitched Punk v Cena, one last time, it'd carry.
For Joe Sweeney: Listen to Disco he’s 200 percent correct cm puke is a “locker room cancer” and he’s 44 WWE is not taking him back they don’t need him. To much baggage Joe
I could see it going either way, but I’m feeling strongly it’s gonna happen at survivor series, if he’s contractually able.
@@Jffeeney3rd anything is possible I can’t argue that but man punk comes with a lot of baggage Time will tell I just don’t think he’s worth the trouble it will be interesting to see I just don’t think wwe needs him
