Yea there had been a report that the Russians were able to get into Azovstal because an old employee at the plant showed them a way past the UA defenses. Well, Ukraine isn't France, and this is what will be the start of World War III if Ukraine can't push the Russians out. It looked to me like they had a "court" type of process and they explained what she was accused of, where she was being taken and what would happen next. I doubt that it will be a military court that will have the final word in her case. More likely, it will be handed off to the Attorney General of Ukraine. France was just a brutal melee of mob violence against anyone accused of anything during the German occupation. There were even instances of Resistance women who had been working 'collaborators' in order to gain intelligence that were brutalized. And then they will try to trivialise the incident, and say _"what harm could it do, it's only a bit of information they could have found out some other way anyway"_ or _"If I don't do it then they'll just get someone else to do it anyway.."_
They just don't think of the shame and the guilt of what happens when they get caught, like this woman.
Yea there had been a report that the Russians were able to get into Azovstal because an old employee at the plant showed them a way past the UA defenses. Of course this person was presented as a traitor. There was also a story like this in regards to Russian military being able to capture Izium. But you could easily imagine the Russians figuring out that these people might have information that could help them, and then using some 'creative' methods to secure the cooperation of those individuals. I don't know this is the case, though. They could just be scumbags. In the US I have no doubt there would be many traitors in a war on US soil.
No it's not a tough one. A traitor is a traitor. How many lives were lost due to her selfish behavior? Life in Prison..... if she is lucky.

Mobs suck because no matter what the situation is, their I.Q. drops to zero. In this case, there was no mob, only soldiers making an arrest.

They are even fighting to protect her too.

This 50-some year old lady living with her husband and mother is clearly a soviet hacker-spy. She had a Russian flag at home and she had sent to a friend a message on WhatsApp saying she liked putin. (Russian propaganda) she has to be executed immediately.
In reality this prosecution of “traitors” is frightening. Specially when you know people have been killed for belonging to a Russian boxing club or exchanging food with Russians.
Just think, in the west our entire governments do what they are saying she did.

Sad to know that local Ukrainians do collaborate with the enemy
This is terribly sad. Traitor to the land that sustained her😢

Try waiting a few decades before all the Ukrainian politicians have been arrested for the last 20 years of utter corruption. did you see the videos of torturing blessed russian soldiers? why being so naive and beliving they wont do the right image under western cameras))
they are also on camera... they would have to be complete idiots to do something objectionable while being openly filmed.
Maybe they treat all suspects like this, but one can't help but notice that press were present.
Idk. Like 12-15 soldiers to take in an old woman someone says helped the enemy. Maybe she was in a situation where she had to self-preserve because Ukrainian soldiers were no where to be found when she was surrounded by Russian forces. Or maybe she really does harbor Russian sympathies. Or maybe she or someone in her family has some previous scores to be settled with some of these solders family. I'm guessing ALOT of decades old scores that have nothing to do with Russia are being settled these days. Regardless I would at least like to think we should be able to all agree the military has no business making these decisions. That's not, at all, there responsibility whatsoever.
Even in wartime they are more polite and level headed than 99% of U.S. cops during a routine traffic stop.
True
Hit the nail on the head.
@Todd Beaulieu • It's not really a fair comparison. In this case, the SBU had background on the woman, knew she wasn't a young, spry martial arts expert, where she was, etc. This arrest was really more like the Michael Cohen arrest, which he claimed was very polite and professional.
During a traffic stop, officers never know who they are going to get and they also know traffic stops are one of the most dangerous times on the job.
Now don't go ballistic on me.
I may not have seen as many brutal arrests and shootings as you have, I'm just saying traffic stops not comparable to this situation.
I would also point out that unless we, as voters, seek changes in our laws or policies, things are unlikely to get better. I mean, do we really need stops for taillights & other excuses when a camera & mailed ticket could work? Think about what we can do to make things better for ourselves rather than just think someone else is better than we are.
@@yvonnetomenga5726 hello, I just want to point out that traffic stops are the most dangerous part of the job, is a myth. That distinction belongs to driving on the highway.. Of the 48 officers killed by firearms in 2021 nationally, only 3 were killed in traffic stops. More unarmed people were killed by police for such b.s. as expired registration. Don't buy into their propaganda-its worse than the Russians.

she's a traitor to her own people? how can anyone help murder their own neighbors?
.... COMMUNISTS/LENNINISTS/STALINISTS.
Looks like they treated her with respect. Explained the charges. Asked her to come down to the station to explain. In Russia, the police may have dragged her away, thrown her in a car, and quickly sped off to who knows where, no questions asked. In Ukraine you're innocent until proven guilty, in Russia you're plain guilty.
Russia just usually executes them, even if they have no evidence. Orcs will be Orcs.
As much as I hate war, I support Ukraine with all my heart, and betrayers must be dealt with according to Ukrainian justice.
Defy "Betrayers"! And to whom? What about the 14,000 men, women and children killed (as Ukrainian citizens) by the Ukrainian Azov brigade and the regular army from 2014 to 2022? I don't see anyone going after them. Oh yes I do.... It's the bad old Russians!
Old people, why does authoritarian rule appeal to them so much?
In many cases these people miss their youth. They were young and not wrinkled when in the USSR. They think they way that they felt was because of the USSR. In truth they felt “happier” because teenagers and young people (especially women) are in their prime at, say, 20. Anyway a lot of these grannies are conflating their youth with the USSR. They somehow think the nostalgia will make them feel as they felt when young. Like grannies in the US wishing for the 1950s or something. Sorry. Doesn’t work like that.
mayby turnign authoritarian is a way to tell them self that they still have power over others as thats what they have ever wanted of live . 😑🙄

I just pray one day, soon, we will wake up and discover this war in Ukraine has ended and peace/rebuilding started🙏🏻
After the fall of Soviet Union we had in our town a guy who worked for local police that used to inform the local KGB office in town about "anti-government" people. Eventually they had elections to for the Police Perfect of our province and that guy was one of the candidates. I knew the new Minister of Internal Affairs personally and told her about this guy. When he walked in to her office she ofc threw him out and never even considered his candidature. And that was it, because it was peace time and nobody got killed because of his actions.
In Ukraine it's war time though, it will definitely not end so easy for her. As we now know, things that she did can easily get people killed in Ukraine right now...
Will this Russian nightmare ever end?
