Great video. I think if you filled them with fine sand you could bend them without them flattening out and kinking so that they more closely mimic a natural round vine.
For everyone who asked: I used 12 guage wire doubled up and it works PERFECT for 3/8" hose. A single piece of the 12 guage will hold it okay, but it is rather wimpy. With it doubled, I have no concerns about my gargoyle gecko leaping around, and it's his favorite part of his enclosure. 🥰
I absolutely love this idea and was so excited to try it out! However, doesn't rubber contain toxic chemicals? I was looking for this type of hose and there are people that won't even water their gardens with them because they can leach toxins. As much as I would love for this to work, I worry that the material of this hose may not be safe for reptiles
This is awesome thanks for posting I just made some and mine are drying . I’m building a new diy terrarium for a created gecko and this will make my build pop
This is what i need for my sugar gliders.. Instead of a bunch of hanging fabrics, i wanted to make a more natural looking enclosure. But like zilla vines are expensive
This was exactly what I was looking for to finish up my diy rock background & inclosure for my leopardgecko . I want to add some vines and fake plants just to keep it easy to clean and durable instead of natural materials
Hey coop I notice is most videos your blue tongues sometime outside I live in Melbourne so in summer it’s hot but winter it’s cold so is it good just to have them outside for summer and inside for winter because I’ve got both
