Thanks for making these videos, Hazel! You have no idea how many times you have saved me during my exams. I appreciate all the videos and detailed work you put out here. It really helps.
Thank you again for the easy to understand video..what would also be great if you can throw some quick exam questions at the end of the topic- so we know that we have understood what is required of us for the exam.. many thanks
great video! really helped! Just a suggestion, do leave the diagrams on when your talking as it would be better to register the information whilst looking at a diagram. Thanks
please make more IGCSe video plssss! it is really helpful... could u think about make a video about solve some common exam question etc or more detail about grade 7 or above biology remove queston, thanks sooooo much
@@SciencewithHazel I only have one two hour paper for each double science course. My advance information for my biology says it's not assed in 1b or 1br - whatever that means... Thanks for your help hazel
Ah ok - you’re doing double award. Then no, this definitely won’t come up. Paper 1BR is a regional paper for students in China/HK/UAE and some other countries. Everyone else sits 1B
@@SciencewithHazel Wow thanks so much for your time Hazel. So does that mean on my advance information i don't need to cover any topics under 1br only the ones under 1b?
Where is the pressure that causes ultrafiltration? Is it in the Efferent arterial 'cause it's got a smaller lumen? or is it in the capillaries? Thanks! Your videos have been really helpful!
The longer the loop of henle the more water is reabsorbed, desert animals have longer loops of henle as they live in an arid environment and need to conserve more water.
Do you need to know about the nephrons and stuff for AQA because neither my teacher nor the CGP textbook mentions it? (Great video by the way very helpful)
If you're doing AQA separate science then you need to know the function of the kidney, the process of filtration and selective reabsorption to produce urine, and the effects of ADH. You don't need to know about the actual structure of the kidney or the nephron though.

I think so; I learnt that it was because the efferent arteriole was smaller than the afferent, so you're probably right :)
Guys. If you feel that it’s too quick, you can just adjust the playback speed to 0.5x.
OMG this was of so much help.......thanks a lot........ love your channel
