Nice job of putting this action packed video together... Amazing catch of the Auto Train coming down the Amtrak Super Highway there. Great variety of other trains passing through as well !!!

New friend here, nice train sir. Greetings from Indonesia.
Thanks for checking out my channel!
@@WarrensTrains u'r welcome sir
Wow that railbed next to that diamond is in bad shape. That's a derailment waiting to happen. Great catches.
Nice! Any idea how many trains use the less busy signal track there at doswell a day?
You mean the interchange track that connects the BB and the RF-P or the BB itself?
@@WarrensTrains just the BB
@@ohiotrains705 Eh. Maybe up to 6 CSX a day (but more typically about 2-4) and if you're there on a weekday M-F you might be able to see BB work in the yard or maybe a local or two on the line. 6-8 trains a day on the BB max.
Great work liked and subbed
Thanks for your support thanks for subbing!
great video, regardless of camera work, you made the effort to be there and bring this video to us all, well done
Like friend, greetings from Brazil.
WOW splendid
Love the variety and speed
Wow amazing... Excellent video 👍
Thank you so much!!
Awesome video
I have lived in Virginia since 1982 and have never seen a train on the Doswell track in the many times I have sat there railfanning.
Yeah, the frequency is very odd. 4-8 trains a day, sometimes all coming between 11pm-6am but it really just depends, sometimes none come during the day, sometimes one, sometimes two, and sometimes they all come through during the day. It's odd.
wonderful capture
Awesome video and catches 📸😊
Where do I park
Most of the time you can just park in the Buckingham Branch RR Yard Office parking lot, the crews there are nice and they don't mind a single bit as long as you don't block their vehicles or equipment.
Ok thanks!
Another spectacular video! Really high aspirations that your brilliant content and channel gains your dreams that you have been hoping for soon! *New Subscriber - Like274* - Nice video my friend. Thank you for sharing! Greetings from Vietnam.
Thanks for visiting! Welcome!
Nice work 🙂
I love the Doswell yard such a unique place to railfan
It's hard to imagine how little sleep people around there get if there are also that many trains at night.
At 29:00 +/- mark, showed DPU entrained against HAZ-MAT tank cars? Is that legal?
Would think RR would want same distance as from crew ( at least ) for ignition reasons in a derailment?
The railroads don't care about the crews. Which is sad.
That was a tank car but it did not have a hazardous placard on it. No violation.
Nice video
Thanks!!
That had to be the longest coal train ever! They mustve cleaned out the entire yard for that lash up! Also, a rare sighting of an Amtrack autotrain! I didnt think they still ran those.......
Awesome share man! Nice video and keep up good work!
Great catches there man!
Great video, just subscribed
Thank you!!
Nice video thanks for sharing
Nice Video Bro Have You Ever Seen Norfolk Southern 8099 Sourhern Heritage?
No, I haven't!
Maybe VRF should move its cam from Ashland to here... Hell of a lot more trains through here than Ashland
I agree that they (or some individual/group) should put a camera here. This location is only about 5-10 minutes from Ashland, so the two-track mainline is the same one that runs by Ashland, but the Buckingham Branch Yard and the Buckingham Branch single track main would make for interesting viewing!
The tower is already there and could be restored and used as the camera hub. More and more railfans are discovering Doswell (myself included) and i think I saw something online about some railfans making a train viewing platform there? So this is becoming a prime location and I definitely gotta agree that someone should put a camera up there
Great footage man!!
awesome compilation... really entertaining
I lived adjacent the tracks near the co-gen plant. The trains really zoom up there. Thanks, I didn't remember why I hated VA so much, now I recall....
Nice
Fantastic video great catch thereawesome🤟🤘😎
[thank, you for you're great video]👍 East coast rural virginia.
How about a video on that interlocking tower? Maybe get inside and see what it looks like...railfans love those interlocking towers of years gone by.
Me personally, I would never go inside. It's trespassing.
A video did surface a few months ago of someone going in there but I didn't download it or really remember it in the back of my head so I can't remember what it looked like, I just remember that it was indeed Doswell.
Where is that Amtrak train going? 21.21. I subscribed 😊.
Thanks for subscribing and checking out my UA-cam channel! Which one in specific?
@GM Transportation You are welcome. Ashland Train Day Fallout / Railfanning Doswell VA.
Beatiful video, liked it, new subscriber 😉👏👏👍
Thank you!!
R the BigGreenThings on flats garbage?
If not, anyone know what they are? Thanks.
Most of the time, yeah
Amazing catches Warren!
Great deal of EMDs despite CSX being very Pro GE! Jokes aside, great trains.
😊Good railroad thepey
Awesome video. Fallout sounds pretty negative but I seen cool stuff here! 😎 😅
It might be a good idea to invest in a tripod for for camera. It is difficult to enjoy the your videos when the camera is moving around when zooming in on the train, otherwise it is a great video. More people subscribe to your channel.
I have a Tripod, just didn't have it that day because I was intending to go to Kings Dominion (Theme Park 1mile from the place the video was filmed) but ended up walking down to go railfanning, which was a last minute change. I'm sorry for the bad quality and i know 100% that it is shaky so you're not wrong
Good video, but the camera was jumping around too much.
I've heard this from a lot of people and have to agree. Especially during that 15 minute, 2 mile long coal lol
Hey, Slightly Shaky and Weavy Video Productions, invest thee in a tripod!!
I have one, just didn't have it that day.
@@WarrensTrains If you railfan here again, could you please film closer to the diamond?
I don't want to get too close, but i can certainly set up my camera there closer. I don't wanna trespass but I guess it's not a problem until it becomes a problem. Can do :)
That’s a long train
...oh, yay. del-vikings & the chipmunks! i know the copyright filter would get you otherwise but jesus...this song was butchered by your speeding it up 2x
Damn people still got me for copyright anyways🙄 I do agree it ruined the song, if they're gonna get me copyrighted next time I might as well use the original version of the song, to hell with it 🤷♂️
@@WarrensTrains Why any music?
Not Gonna Subscribe if you Keep Trespassing by going on the Freaking Railroad Ballast... Its against the law for doing it.. Please stay back from the tracks and use a Public Sidewalk to railfan from safely! ALSO GET A FREAKING TRIPOD
Thanks for your opinion! I don't trespass on rail property and if you see in clip one; yes, i was on ballast, but i did walk over to the concrete pole because that is considered a safe distance if you're behind it, which I was. Also, Buckingham Branch shortline **likes** railfans, and let us behind their building all the time, hence why for the long coal train on the single main i was by that signal, it's directly behind the building. If you have any other questions or concerns that you would like me to debunk as well, please keep listing them and I will be glad to answer. (P.S., the long coal train even gave me a hornshow. they don't care if you railfan, as long as it's a safe distance. plus, that place is getting a concrete slab for railfans to utilize, that's how fond they are of us they are there at Doswell)
Thanks for watching and happy foaming (because we can all tell from this comment that you are indeed a foamer.)
@GRE2057 dude, shut up and get a life. Also learn capitalization 🤷♂️
@GRE2057 quick reminder that all of your videos from 2023 so far combined have less views than this one does in less than 2 days, while GM has a third of your sub count. Maybe people like his videos more than yours, just saying.
@GRE2057 also, in most clips of NB trains (where I'm facing SB) you can see im behind the gates lmao
@GRE 2057 go outside for once, all you do is model railroad and play trainz, go touch some grass instead of going batshit crazy. Talk to us when
you actually do real railfanning.
You do not now what you are doing with the camera. Moving it around to much
I'm usually pretty good operating cameras, this one was mainly because I didn't have a Tripod as i wasn't intending on going railfanning. There will only be a handful of videos on my channel that are like this, as i usually do bring a tripod even if i don't go railfanning, this was just in particular a one day thing because i was at a friend's house that was only about half a mile from the yard.
nice video
