HEAVY RECOVERY OF CRASHED TRUCK FROM DITCH 🚚

- RECOVERY - 14-04-2020 - WEESP - On the Kanaaldijk Oost between Weesp and Nigtevecht, a truck driver veered off the road on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around quarter to twelve. For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck collided with two trees and came to a halt against a third tree. The trailer of the truck ended up in the ditch.
Miraculously, the driver emerged from the incident unscathed. Van den Boogaard Recovery Services from Beverwijk retrieved the truck. By seven o'clock, the vehicle was back on the road.

Nice job on a difficult recovery, it might have been quicker/easier with a rotator instead of having to wait for that crane.
A rotator does not make sense here. In the Netherlands and Germany we use heavy lorry cranes, its a big diffrence being able to lift 80 metric tonnes or more..
@@class8866 did you ever look at Miller industries 100 ton rotater ?

@@ventrac4500z Our Cranres here in Germany are normally above this level of 100 metric tonnes. If there ist a heavy accident, they use today two cranes, and their lifting capacity is between 100 and 200 metric tonnes.
By the way the heaviest telescopic lorry cranes can easiliy lift in the range between 500 and 1300 metric tonnes today.
When I was young, this was an illusion, they were happy to lift 20 metric tonnes...
Why bother with rotators when there are mobile cranes almost always nearby?
Given that the trailers are often scrap would it not be sensible to cut them up in situ?

Ik heb al vele bergingen bekeken en wat wat opvalt is dat er veel getreuzeld word en hoe langzamer en veel materiaal hoogtij viert. En is zo frustrerend om naar te kijken .Je kunt de klok erop gelijk zetten als er weer zo n ongeval komt hoe er gewerkt word. Ik kijk daar specifiek naar hoe er gehandeld wordt. De betere haal je er zo uit die perfect een berging uitvoeren maar ook van tjonge tjonge wat een toestand .
Mooi filmpje. Is een beste klapper geweest! Truck en trailer in een keer totaal loss.... Maar dat is vervangbaar. Hoe is het met de chauffeur?

Gelukkig kwam de chauffeur er zonder kleerscheuren vanaf. Dat zou zonde geweest zijn.

i miss the cabover trucks. the europeans still build them because of length restrictions. short truck means longer trailers for cargo.

It's a narrow road. When another truck comes from the other side you hit the side easely. And then you could lose the truck

I think our american cousins could learn a lot from this, truck has taken a very hard hit to the tractor unit, yet the cab ha not fallen off the front axle is still in the chassis and the trailer has not folded in half like a wet paper bag !! ...............................................just saying

Het is goed te lezen dat de chauffeur er levend van af heeft weten te brengen. Als je de cockpit ziet heeft er een engel op de bijrijdersseat gezeten. Hulde aan het bergingdteam.

Another crane, why do they have wreckers???
The crane was brought in to lift the two cardboard boxes - so it makes sense to use it to help lift the truck as well!
SAUVETAGE : Camion contre arbre et dans fossé... SALVAGE - 14-04-2020 - WEESP - Un conducteur avec son camion a fait une sortie de route mardi sur la digue du canal est entre Weesp et Nigtevecht.
L'accident s'est produit vers midi moins le quart. Le conducteur a fait une sortie de route pour des raisons inconnues. Le camion a fait tomber deux arbres du sol et s'est immobilisé contre un troisième arbre. La remorque du camion s'est retrouvée dans le fossé.
Miraculeusement, le conducteur s'en est sorti indemne. Une entreprise de récupération Van den Boogaard de Beverwijk a récupéré le camion. Vers sept heures le colosse était de retour sur la route

Na da wird sich der Unternehmer auch gefreut haben über den Totalschaden von AUFLIEGER und ZUGMASCHINE. Ist der Fahrer wenigstens noch lebend raus gekommen? Habe solche Unfälle in Holland und Nordbelgien auch schon gesehen.

En 15 années de conducteur routier, j'ai été à plusieurs reprises au bord de l'accident par manque de sommeil, d'inattention...
