Fantastic modeling tutorial. Not too hard to follow, has a complex shape with complex parts, good audio and explanation of your actions, and screencast keys as a bonus. 9/10 tutorial (-1 because it felt like you were more interested in getting the tutorial over with rather than teaching, made it feel more like a "walkthrough").
WTF how come this video doesn't have like 1 mi likes? It's not just what you teach but the way you show how to do things, not everybody knows how to teach stuff in a didatic way. As a begginer in Blender, I'm very grateful for this channel
@@penguin2701 I don't have a video on that, but Daniel Krafft made a video showing what every nodes does. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/cQ0qtcSymDI/v-deo.html
Thanks for this great tutorial !! I want to use Blender to design a desk/workplace including all inside things to build, which this tutorial definitely showed me its possible and possible ways of how to do. Only thing I missed, only watched it once, so might have really missed this part, is how to implement real life measurements into the design. Need to watch way more tutorials, so if not in this one, it might be shown in another anyways. Again, many thanks for this VERY clear tutorial!!! _O_
It is way faster to do the modelling using a single vertex that you extrude to follow the outline of the object then add a sew modifier to it . Just make sure Angle is set to 360 and Screw is set to 0 and iterations is set to 1 and Axis is set to Z. Its the default settings so don't change them and you're good. You actually speed up the work by like 70% just by using this method. And its also great since you have "Steps" that you can increase/decrease at any time to change the amount of vertices in your mesh. So you can make it low poly or high-poly just by increasing/decreasing the steps
Hmm, are you using Blender Eevee? The emmision material won't actually emit light in Eevee. So if your doing this in Eevee, just add a Point light, and place it inside the lamp.
Can you tell me, How to create a light blue rays. Like in real life when we wear glasses, we can see some rays outside the light. I want the same effect in blender rendered view. Hope you understand me. ❤
Any advice on using this to light a night time living room scene? It's not bright enough as it is but increasing the bulb emission strength increases noise more than brightness.

YOU ARE THE BEST! you learnd me sooooo much in past month and now i can do thing with my own!
Sweet! Glad my videos are helpful!
@@RyanKingArt Yeah! but can one day learn us evrey node? i know this would be hard to do.

This is a absolutely perfect tutorial !
I really enjoyed it ;D and it worked really good for me. Thank you for the awesome tutorial

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you. I was trying to make the right texture for the lamp. ✨🤟🏻

Yep, that would work too.
Nice result!
Thank you very much!
im having trouble with the emmision its not glowing like yours any suggestions? Great tutorial none the less

Yeah i totally forgot to switch the render engine lol. Thanks man my lamp turned out amazing!

Good tutorial. Just a point, it's easier and faster to use a single vertex and a Screw modifier ;)
Cool. Thanks!
Your channel is pretty great. :D
Helped me out with lots of stuff. (:

I would add a different light, like maybe a point light, above or around the lamp, to make it look like the light is coming from the lamp.
awesome .. can you do a glass tutorial plz :D
I might do that. Thanks
thank,brO

did you make sure to turn on the node wrangler in Blender's user preferences?
