Was in Gatlinburg last summer and ran out of time for this museum. Then the fires. I thought it might have been destroyed. So glad you went here. I have a small collection. My grandmother had 150+ I saw some old favorites of ours represented here!
My wife and I have been here, this is a single lady's collection over the years. I saw a pair of shakers my great grandmother had and sure enough I saw them her. They were the Butler and the Maid and when you shook them the Butler sneezed loudly and the Maid said bless you. Great fun! Love you videos! Inspiration to do more traveling. Keep it up!
I was a colecter for a number of years. Most of the ones I saw are fairly common. There is a club for collecters. Some collections number more than 25,000 pairs! Love your stuff.
Third time watching this. Great. Up at 2am ordering vintage salt and pepper shakers on Etsy. LOL! xoxo
I've never hit the pause so many times as in this video. Amazing variety.
Mind is officially boggled.
You find the most wonderfully crazy but interesting places. I want to see this and that great lunch box museum.
I was here about 6 yrs ago. I''m glad to see it's still there. It reminds me of an old fashioned roadside attraction. There used to be a crappy pizza place in the same complex (Dominos' I think.) Great video!
I love this museum, have been to it before in Gatlinburg. It's amazing how many different sets there are!
I love it!!! So many to look at it's hard to see them all!!!
Archery Mom Five ++ I'm happy you have a set at your house. Someone must really love you to have given you those. XO
You could go there dozens of times and see something new every time
Now this is so amazing. My great grandmother collected salt and pepper shakers and when she passed they were sold off so i've always been inspired to try and get back the ones I remember. This video made me smile and think of her; it also reminded me of the elephant museum video (:
that was to funny when you told people who didn't like this to buzz off. way to go jacob!!!!
I have thought about collecting Salt & Pepper Shakers before! There are so many unusual ones! Thanks for sharing ,Jacob!
Its amazing what museums there are. I've just watched the video on the bean museum so I must be getting hungry. This is just the place for a seasoned traveller like you.
That is so freaking cool! I could spend all day in that place! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Jacob, for this delightful visit to the ultimate "granny's collection"! Once upon a time, salt and pepper shakers were THE gift for that kitchen with an oilskin table cloth and café curtains. (Didn't spot the hula girl with the removables decorated tastefully with flowers, 'tho.)
Jacob are you trying to give me grandmother's flash backs ? Lol. thanks for showing . ttyl.
Wow! I just picked up a mount St Hellen S&P shaker... searched Vintage Salt Pepper on YT and up popped your old video with.. Mnt St Hellen shaker..lol. Peace from August 2019.
Great tour Jacob! You presented it very well. Oh yeah, and that "other place" Is Seattle, Washington! Our Space Needle was the original one, built in 1962 for the World Fair.
Wow so many salt and pepper shakers Jacob xxxx
Missed this when I was there. A very well organized collection. Thanks for another interesting video Jacob!
Hope you are staying safe from this horrible weather. Take care, Jacob.
Had fun watching this one JTC!
Wow I didn't think there was that many different ones. Boy was I wrong. Lol!!

Smokey AND Paddington bears, the unholy alliance... that made me snort. Love these kitschy museums.
who knew there were so many different types of salt and pepper shakers.
The only thing that could make this place better is some Salt-N-Pepa music playing over their sound system :)

Unique find once again. Wow, didn't realize there were so many salt and pepper shakers. I wonder how often they dust them, I would not want that job.
disneygirlatheart working in a museum is a dusting nightmare, take my word
This place is like the DragonCon of salt and pepper shakers.
I collect Vintage Tiki mugs,
Couldn't imagine packing this collection to move.
(we just made the huge move from Hawaii to Vermont this last year,
packing the tiki mugs took weeks...but only one broke upon arrival.
This collection is a true passion, and the size of the collection is impressive beyond.
Great video, just subscribed :)
I now want cactus shakers, just one pair :)
No o'possum salt and pepper shakers? WHAT? I can remember having some of these around when I was a kid. There would always be one missing, one broken, or they just ended up as shelf ornaments. (still with pepper or salt inside) Fun video, thanks!
My grandpa on my mom's side would love to visit here if he was alive
I collect salt and pepper shakers. I have close to 200 sets. This place is great.

Nightmare Before Christmas salt n pepper shakes I need those in my life!
Are these all functional? I would love to have guests over and have dinner then pass them the Worlds Tiniest Salt and. Pepper Shakers. The look on their faces would be worth it! Lol
Is the cowboy a John Wayne head salt shaker???? Cause I seen one like it here at his birth place in winterset Iowa.

Interesting what people collect. There is a pencil sharpener museum in Logan, Ohio. It's the size of a backyard shed. Good for an interesting five minutes.
