Thanks for taking us places most of us probably will never get to. Love to see you go to Maysville, Kentucky to KBS miniature museum within the History Museum. It is fantastic. Also not far is the Dollhouse Museum and miniatures in Kentucky also.
I love how excited he gets when he sees the manatees after talking in a hushed tone the whole time and says "oh look at the little manatees!" *high pitched squeal of happiness*🤣🤣🤣
Wow. Had no idea that was a salt and pepper museum. Never would have known that there is so many salt and pepper shakers. Thank you for showing us the museum. A lot of novelty shakers and character shakers. Blown away by all of it.
For some strange reason, this fascinates me. We recently moved from So Ca to N.C. so just maybe we can plan a road trip to TN and check this out for ourselves. Thank you for your time in sharing this with us. Fun find !
When I first visited this museum I was so sad that I didn't see any pandas...only to be awed when I walked into the most beloved room to find where the owner kept them all!
I wasn’t going to watch because I saw the last video of this museum - so glad I watched anyway. Good video- fascinating shakers. I saw a few mom had /has. ... I can’t imagine having a fuzzy shaker . I wonder how often that left people with fur in their food.
This place is amazing! It was your first video that you shared of them awhile back that made me plan a whole trip and go the place is just breathtaking to see that many in one area! Also not only is the admission super cheap but if you purchase any sets in the gift shop they will use the admission price towards it. Such a wholesome good people place!
What a collection!!!! Love the donky s, the vedgies, loved the corn, the rooster with eggs, ... That grinning frogg love the fun shakers, tha pac man!!!! I would love to visit this museum! Thank you for sharing this
Yes! This is definitely one of my favorite attractions in Gatlinburg. It often gets overlooked because of the attraction overload there, but I think it is a must do and reccomend it to everyone. Great video.
Pepper has 3 holes. I enjoyed this video, one of my favorite Aunt's collected S/P shakers. I seen a few on here that she had. The Ma and Pa Outhouses brought back some memories. Thanks for doing this vlog.
Thanks for another great tour If you haven't been there you would love the Sweet Fanny Adams theater down at the bottom of the hill from the salt and pepper shaker museum. It's like stepping into the past into the old days of Vaudeville. They would probably love to have you as a guest celebrity.
I'm pretty sure my mama used to have some of those green salt and pepper shakers when I was growing up. They certainly do jog memory from somewhere in my past.
If there's a museum you'll the one to find them. I didn't know there were so many of them. This is a cool one to see. I saw some small corn shakers there I used to have. I wonder if they ended up there.
My cousin 6 times removed started collecting them when she was 5. When she passed away at age 69 in 1999 she had over 300 of them. I have a 5 level wall mounted shelf with farm animals.
There was something very satisfying about rounding the likes on this video from 599 to 600..lol, this place still amazes me it all started with a pair and a dream lol! So many different types to cool, I love the s and p, but would love the snow globe although would have to say rosebud everytime I used them!
Funny I was always taught salt had more holes in the shaker. Learned something new. That was really interesting. So many who would have thought. My Mom had a lot of chinese themed ones for some reason and I remember the Campbell soup kids ones. I think they were a promotional set. Thanks this was cool. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
Keep up the great vlogs, Jacob! You are really maturing as a content creator & am glad to be a witness there. Do you have any regrets giving up the full time job, or did you not look back? Thanks for sharing!!!
Jacob, do they still sell S&P shakers there? When I was a kid, it was always salt that had the most holes, as people generally used more salt than pepper. It’s not just that salt is “bad” now, there has also been a cultural shift - people prefer the food with more “spiciness”.
I have a set of shakers from the defunct Boblo Island Amusement Park that used to be on the Canadian side of the Detroit River. BTW, I guess you didn't see the follow up commercial to Mr. Peanut's demise. The Kool-Aid man was crying so hard at his gravesite that a peanut plant sprouted and Mr. Peanut came back, though he's a bit shorter at the moment.😁
Who would of ever thought that seeing thousands of salt and pepper shakers would actually be interesting? Me! I like the Ouija planchet salt and pepper shaker 21:27.
Jacob, I really, really enjoyed this video, even though it got a bit salty at times~ This was one that I could freeze frame and take my time just soaking in the interesting displays...I should have loved to visit in person, but will never be able to....thank you so much for sharing~
The Trylon and Perisphere were two monumental modernistic structures designed by architects Wallace Harrison and J. Andre Fouilhoux that were together known as the Theme Center of the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Perisphere was a tremendous sphere, 180 feet in diameter, connected to the 610-foot (190 m) spire-shaped Trylon by what was at the time the world's longest escalator. The Perisphere housed a diorama by Henry Dreyfuss called Democracity which, in keeping with the fair's theme "The World of Tomorrow", depicted a utopian city-of-the-future. The interior display was viewed from above on a moving sidewalk, while a multi-image slide presentation was projected on the dome of the sphere. After exiting the Perisphere, visitors descended to ground level on the third element of the Theme Center, the Helicline, a 950-foot-long (290 m) spiral ramp that partially encircled the Perisphere.
Whoever owns this place all they need to do is go down the street to the local Cracker Barrel restaurant, it's amazing how many different kinds of shakers they have in there and for any season at that.
This would be the greatest place to put the Abraham Lincoln salt and pepper shaker you found i believe it was in the Abraham Lincoln museum then it would be 20,001 pairs of salt and pepper shakers!
How many times can one say "salt and pepper" in one video. LOL. Love it.
Thanks for taking us places most of us probably will never get to. Love to see you go to Maysville, Kentucky to KBS miniature museum within the History Museum. It is fantastic. Also not far is the Dollhouse Museum and miniatures in Kentucky also.
I wonder what KBS stands for
@@constanttraveler Kathleen Savage Browning (It's KSB, not KBS).
Salt has 2. Pepper has 3. Thank you for sharing. Be safe. Much love
I grew up knowing opposite
“There’s Mr.Peanut, God rest his soul.” Cracked me up. Wild.
4:47 The poor guy doesn't carrot all anymore. Great video as always, it's like walking through with a great tour guide.
What a collection. No lack of creativity when it comes to salt and pepper shakes. I have two cute pairs, welsh corgi dogs and piggies.
I love how excited he gets when he sees the manatees after talking in a hushed tone the whole time and says "oh look at the little manatees!" *high pitched squeal of happiness*🤣🤣🤣

OMG I watched the previous salt and pepper video yesterday when I was just looking for something to watch.. ironic! Great video! Have a great Sunday!
I wasn’t going to watch because I saw the last video of this museum - so glad I watched anyway. Good video- fascinating shakers. I saw a few mom had /has. ...

I loved the wine bottle shakers , so cool. I thought this video might be boring, but it was fun!.
3:48, The shakers behind the eggs, my Grandparents had those.
more holes for pepper, salt is more finely crushed and flows more freely so pepper needs more holes
Robert Curd bigger holes for pepper. My parents have grinders for both salt and pepper.
Ian's I was told the opposite by my mom. Thanks.
2 holes for salt and 3 for pepper

Thank you for sharing this
I think the "mallet" ones are for working over a large cooktop so you wouldn't have to stretch your arm over it.
Love this. I love vintage salt and pepper shakers. Just added to my collection.
Good one Jacob 😎👍🏻

Thanks for another great tour If you haven't been there you would love the Sweet Fanny Adams theater down at the bottom of the hill from the salt and pepper shaker museum. It's like stepping into the past into the old days of Vaudeville. They would probably love to have you as a guest celebrity.

Idk why but I found this so relaxing.

I had one of those white cats, too. When you turn it over to sprinkle salt, it meows.
Funny I was always taught salt had more holes in the shaker. Learned something new. That was really interesting. So many who would have thought. Chuck Oneill yes they do still sell some in the gift shop. They even use your admission money towards your purchase!
No they do not
1:24 I'm going to say the P stands for pepper since what you're looking at is called a Lectern. The podium is the platform the speaker stands on.
Right as I seen the title I thought “Nana...did you open a museum”😂😂😂😂💀

I think salt is 2 holes and pepper 3. I don't know officially but I think that way makes sense cuz pepper is thicker.
