"I hate goodbyes." #2. The Mask (A real technical achievement of CGI that was used in a cartoon way that perfectly Fit Jim Carry's over the top personality.) #1. Me, Myself and Irene was his most underrated movie. At least out of his comedies. But I definitely wouldn’t say it was better than Ace Ventura, you can’t beat Ace. Or the second movie
1. Once bitten 2. Liar Liar 3. The Mask 4. Ace Ventura Pet Detective 5. Me Myself and Irene 6. Yes Man 7. The Cable Guy 8. Man on the moon 9. Dumb And Dumber 10. Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind 11. Bruce Almighty
Another actor who deserves a mention, in fact more than a mention is Bruce Willis who also quit. I mean he acted in such great movies like Die hard, 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction, Death Becomes Her, The Whole Nine Yards. If my memory serves me right he even acted in a Woody Allen movie, I am just forgetting its name. A fine run.
Great list. Me, Myself and Irene is fucking great! "Vagiclean, price check on Vagiclean, we got a woman bakin a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough". So many good quotes. "Guy's like origami, folds under the pressure", when the big game's on the line you'll find him ridin the pine".

Honestly The Majestic would EASILY be in my top 5 Carrey films, such a beautiful film. And The Cable Guy is damn awesome, loved that film from first viewing and I still do to this day. One film he did that I don't think gets enough love is I Love You Phillip Morris, the rapport between him and McGregor just fits so well in it. Also adored him in Man on the Moon & Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. I'm also a fan of practically every adaptation of A Christmas Carol and I loved the animated version Carrey did so very much. By the way you now have me wondering how Jeff Bridges could carry a Dumb and Dumber film, oh the possibilities 🤣
The Majestic was a flop unfortunately. That and Number 23… those were his unsuccessful dramatic movies. His only successful serious movies were Truman Show, Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Really enjoyed your video. My list. 1. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. 2. The Truman show 3. Dumb and Dumber 4. Man in the moon 5. The majestic 6. Liar Liar 7. The Grinch 8. Ace Ventura 1 9. Me myself and irene 10. Bruce almighty
The Cable guy is fantastic and has always been extremely underrated and over looked but I have Eteranal Sunshine above it. My top 10 would have The Truman Show, I love you Phillip Morris, Ace Ventura When Nature Calls and Man on the Moon in it also for sure.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is definitely my favorite. I've never seen The Majestic, but your brief synopsis of it makes me wanna track it down. It most definitely seems like one of those films that unjustifiably flew under the radar.
Yes, that’s correct. Majestic was one of his dramatic movies that was a huge flop at the box office. His only successful serious movies (as you know) are Truman Show, Man on the Moon and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But I should warn you that Majestic was incredibly boring! The story of it was great but the movie was boring

What No Mask ? I thought that was going to be No. 1. The underdog and craziness that Carrey has symbolized all his career is perfectly presented in that movie.
The Mask will probably always be my favorite Jim Carrey movie. It was a staple for me as a kid along with...sigh... Batman and Robin. In fact, he's the only reason I even acknowledge that movie 🤣
No particular order that I can think of, but The Mask, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dumb and Dumber, Bruce Almighty, The Cable Guy, and Liar, Liar come to mind
Great list, as always! Also I am so jealous of your House t-shirt! One of my all-time favorite cheesy 80s horror flicks. I cut my pre-teen horror fan teeth on that movie. ^_^
I love Jim as Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon, Truman Show is great, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind are all great movies. I grew up watching Andy Kaufman. I thought Jim played the man perfectly. That is why I love Man on the moon.

Man on the Moon (The man disappeared into Andy Kaufman) 10. The Number 23 NOW I've not seen Eternal Sunshine or The Truman Show, and I am pretty sure that these two will take spots up above when I do. I'm sure its odd that Dumb and Dumber isn't here, and while I do quote it...I've never just gone back to it and watched it for fun on a regular basis. Its the strangest thing.
thanks Cody for this. Carrey deserves this. I hope we have not seen the end of him. I have not seen one bad movie of him, except the one where he plays the Riddler. Even a box office failure like The Fun with Dick and Jane was pretty great. That scene where he is made fun of when he gets promoted to VP and goes for interview is priceless.

Liar Liar is BY FAR my favorite Jim Carrey movie. It took a while for it to overtake Ace Ventura which was, for a long time, my favorite. But as I grew older (I was 13 when Ace Ventura came out), and became a father and could relate more on an emotional level to the story, it skyrocketed to the number one spot and has remained there for the past 15 years+. I've seen it AT LEAST 100 times and can quote it from start to finish. Here's my top 10. 1. Liar Liar 2. Ace Ventura Pet Detective 3. Dumb & Dumber 4. The Mask 5. Bruce Almighty 6. Truman Show 7. Yes Man 8. The Cable Guy 9. The Majestic 10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Great video - feels like a generation that is not going to get replaced anytime soon My personal fave is Dumb & Dumber, i never saw my Nan laugh at a film before other than D&D When my Nan spent Christmas with us before she died, watching this brings back them good memories
I was 10 years old in 1994, went to see The Mask with my brother and folks and they showed dumb and dumber trailer during coming attractions and I just remember wishing I was seeing that movie right then and there I knew it was going to be a classic!

Horton Hears a Who! I’m gonna rewatch Dumb and Dumber. Maybe it’ll climb for me like it did for you. Same with Ace Ventura.
There’s always that topic of “what celebrity would you have dinner with if you could?” Always Jim Carey, for me. So I appreciate you for this list, Cody.

The Truman Show 5. Ace Ventura 1 6. Bruce Almighty 7. Fun with Dick and Jane 8. Yes Man 9. The Majestic 10. Ace Ventura 2 I just don't find the cable guy to be as rewatchable as the others, but I think it's an underrated movie with a great cast (many just before they blew up).
My Top 5 Jim Carey Movies: 1. Cable Guy 2. Truman Show 3. Liar Liar 4. Eternal Sunshine 5. Me Myself and Irene I love that you had Cable Guy at #1! I love that movie 😊
1. Ace Ventura Pet Detective; It was one of the first Jim Carey classic films that showed his comedic chops in film. Jim plays Ace Ventura, a pet detective looking for a missing dolphin mascot, but gets involved in a case involving murders, a missing disgruntled kicker and the kidnapping of Miami Dolphins QB Dan Marino. Was his first real big girl that showed why he was a obvious breakout after he left ''In Living Color" 2. Dumb and Dumber; Perhaps the most ridiculously stupid comedy, which makes it hilarious. Carey and Daniels are perfect as Lloyd and Harry, two idiots who try to return a lost briefcase but end up in the mist of a crime. This was hilarious even though some of the humor in this aged 3. Liar Liar ; Funny and genuinely zany without being over the top "Jim Carey like" but still works as a lawyer unable to lie because his son makes a wish. He plays a very unintentional neglectful dad that is more into his job than his personal life. 4. The Truman show; Great film that shows a real side of "reality TV" without the main character (Truman Burbank) realizing it. Great nod to the obsession we have when it comes to reality TV . Jim plays it perfectly as Truman, who soon starts to suspect things. 5. The Mask; Jim uses his slapstick and odd facial expressions perfectly as Stanley Ipkiss, a banker that finds a mask that turns him into a super hero. The facial acting under the green makeup along with his movements was a perfect vehicle for Carey early in his career. 6. Liar Liar ; Carey plays a lawyer that can't lie after his son makes a wish that his absentee father can't lie. Heart warming story and just a great Jim Carey film that doesn't get the attention as his early films. 7. Bruce Almighty; Jim gets the powers of God (Morgan Freeman) when he gets frustrated with the lack of career success and things going wrong only to find out it's not easy being him. Great chemistry with Jennifer Aniston (who plays his girlfriend) and Morgan Freeman. 8. Me, Myself and Irene; Jim plays dual roles as a nice guy cop and his schizophrenic alter ego Hank while taking a road trip to drop off a convicted felon (Zellwegger). Crazy funny although ridiculous at times. 9. How the Grinch Stole Christmas; Carey plays everyone's favorite green who... the Grinch in alive action version of the Dr Seuss classic. He puts his own zany humor in the twisted mind of the Grinch in some funny scenes. 10. The Cable Guy; Jim plays a lonely cable guy obsessed with his one and only friend (played by Matthew Broderick) , who can't stand him as he becomes a little more obsessive and needy. Not a typical Jim Carey film but a good watch. --------------------------------------------------------------- Honorable Mentions •YES MAN; Carey plays a guy who is hesitant about taking risks until he attends this seminar where you're encouraged to say YES to everything. Funny and genuinely touching at times as him and Deschanel have great chemistry together. •The Number 23; Jim plays a man who discovers a book that leads him to theories and conspiracies connected to the number 23. Interesting thriller that doesn't get mentioned often with his film career •Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2; Carey as the evil villain Dr Robotnik/Egghead (in the film based on the hit Sega game) was an interesting choice and then I seen the films and was convinced he was perfect for the part. •Once Bitten;Very early Jim Carey film where he plays a high school kid just trying to lose his virginity to his girlfriend. Unfortunately a female vampire (Lauren Hutton) who is a vampire needs virgin blood to stay youthful and he's her blood supply. Campy but fun film •Man on the Moon; Jim Carey fully endulged himself in this role entirely not breaking character as he plays Andy Kaufman in this autobiography pic. From his days on SNL to getting the gig on Taxi and late his rivalry with wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler . You follow Kaufman onstage as his alter ego Tony Clifton , never breaking character and to his eventual death. Carey portrayed Kaufman down to the voice and all. Extremely underrated film
My absolute favorite Jim Carrey movies are Liar Liar (the gag reel alone makes me laugh until I cry and my stomach hurts), and Dumb and Dumber (the bathroom scene 😂)
I'm a huge fan of Jim Carrey! Can't wait to see Sonic 2 and I also hope he returns as the iconic Ace Ventura for a 3rd film which he recently agreed to do under the condition that a really good director directs.

Me, Myself and Irene was his most underrated movie. At least out of his comedies. But I definitely wouldn’t say it was better than Ace Ventura, you can’t beat Ace. Or the second movie
1. Once bitten
2. Liar Liar
3. The Mask
4. Ace Ventura Pet Detective
5. Me Myself and Irene
6. Yes Man
7. The Cable Guy
8. Man on the moon
9. Dumb And Dumber
10. Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind
Cody I respect your grind dude constantly flying these videos out and I respect it! Keep it up!
1. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
2. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
3. Dumb and Dumber
4. The Mask
5. The Grinch
6. Batman Forever
7. Bruce Almighty
8. KIck Ass 2
9. The Cable Guy
10. Fun with Dick and Jane
JEFF DANIELS! Not Jeff Bridges
Really enjoyed your video. My list.
1. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
2. The Truman show
3. Dumb and Dumber
4. Man in the moon
5. The majestic
6. Liar Liar
7. The Grinch
8. Ace Ventura 1
9. Me myself and irene
@@nsasupporter7557man on the moon flopped too. His streak with 8 straight #1 movies came to an end when it was released.
@@antoiner3820 uh no it didn’t!! What the hell are you talking about??
People praised his performance in that movie and he won a Golden Globe for it! 🥴 you need to pull your head outta your ass!
Cody I saw Cable Guy at the cinema back in 1996 with my best friend & to this day we absolutely love it and it’s our favorite Jim Carrey movie too! I just showed Cable Guy to my daughter & she absolutely loves it too. Awesome list Cody!
Everybody likes to say that Cable Guy was a flop but it really wasn’t. He earned a $20 million pay for it which was unheard for a comedic actor in 1996 when it came out. He also won 2 MTV movie awards for it
1. The Mask
2. The Cable Guy
3. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
4. The man on the moon
5. Ace Ventura : when nature calls
6. Liar, liar
7. Bruce Allmighty
8. Me, myself and Irene
9. The Truman Show
10. A SERIES OF UNFORTUNER events.
Never realized Bruce, me myself and Irene, and the mask all have something in common. Discovering a part of yourself that was always there
I love "Yes Man" with an unbridled passion!.
Jim Carrey is in my top 5 favorite actors of all time
The Cable Guy is so good. I showed it to my wife this year and she loved it.
I agree. As a adult, The Cable Guy is my favorite film of his.i saw it in theatres and had the soundtrack. Every time I watch it I like it more

This made me happy watching this. Thanks for uplifting my spirits
I’ve been waiting for this video so long and finally it’s heree!
No particular order that I can think of, but The Mask, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dumb and Dumber, Bruce Almighty, The Cable Guy, and Liar, Liar come to mind
Nice to see the majestic on the list! I always loved that movie.
Me, myself & irene is the most underrated jim carrey movie. It doesn’t get talked about enough
I have been catching up ever since finding your channel from watching the Halloween Kills review to wrap my head around what movie madness I had just seen... eesh. But gladly found all your older horror reviews and so forth. Happy to be here for a dropped 5 minutes ago joint. Less go!
Honestly one of the hardest lists to commit too imo, The Mask, Dumb & Dumber and Me Myself and Irene might be my top 3😅
Great video Cody! Couldn't deny any of the picks in this list😊😁
Dude...the cable guy is solo underrated. I love seeing it in the Super Bowl commercial
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind #1 for me. Cant even explain how much i love that movie
My favorite Jim Carrey movies are the Mask, Batman Forever, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Fun with Dick and Jane, Bruce Almighty and a Series of Unfortunate Events. I have to check out the Magnetic it sounds interesting. This was a good ranking video Cody.
Man on the Moon is also a really good film that doesn't really get mentioned in his filmography
Fantastic shirt! Never heard you talk about the House movies... 🤔
Yes Man will forever be my number 1. Im 24 and watched it a ton when it came out on DVD since my family didnt have cable i watched that movie at least 50 times thoughout the first year i had it lol
The Mask is the one I remember the most, so good
I know I'm not a Patreon member, but as a request can you do a Top 10 Popular Movies That You Don't Like/Find Overrated and/or Top 10 Hated Movies that You Actually Like/Feel Needs More Love?
I'd like to see your take on this.
The medieval times part of The Cable guy, and the karaoke scene are B-e-a-utiful
I thought The Mask would make the top 10 for sure but still solid list.
Top 5 for me
5. The Cable Guy
4. Liar Liar
3. Dumb and Dumber
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
1. The Truman Show
You mentioned Truman Show and Sonic 2 in your honorable mention along with a brief mention of Ace Ventura 2.
Thoughts on The Mask and Man on the Moon?
The cable guy getting some love! He’s amazing in this movie!
*Jim..!* 💜
Liar liar will always be my favorite Jim Carrey. Great list.
1. Ace Ventura 1
2. Once Bitten (I know how cheesy it is, but I have ALWAYS loved it)
3. How The Grinch Stole Christmas
4. Liar Liar (It still makes me cry and also...THE GODDAMN PEN IS BLUE)
5. Bruce Almighty (This one makes me cry too, lol)
6. Ace Ventura 2
7. A Series of Unfortunate Events (He just shines here in all the characters)
8. Me, Myself and Irene
9. Man on the Moon (The man disappeared into Andy Kaufman)
10. The Number 23
NOW I've not seen Eternal Sunshine or The Truman Show, and I am pretty sure that these two will take spots up above when I do. I'm sure its odd that Dumb and Dumber isn't here, and while I do quote it...I've never just gone back to it and watched it for fun on a regular basis. Its the strangest thing.
The cable guy is one my personal favorites and hell I still got the vhs in my closet
thanks Cody for this.
Fun with Dick and Jane was meh 🫤
Me, Myself and Irene was the great movie that was underrated
That dumb and dumber bit was incredible. Such a funny fucking movie
I also am subscribed to Sean Chandlers channel.

7. The Truman Show
6. The Mask
5. Bruce Almighty
4. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
3. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
2. Dumb and Dumber
1. Liar Liar
1. Liar Liar
2. Ace Ventura Pet Detective
3. Dumb & Dumber
4. The Mask
5. Bruce Almighty
6. Truman Show
7. Yes Man
8. The Cable Guy
9. The Majestic
10. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Great video - feels like a generation that is not going to get replaced anytime soon
My personal fave is Dumb & Dumber, i never saw my Nan laugh at a film before other than D&D
When my Nan spent Christmas with us before she died, watching this brings back them good memories
I was 10 years old in 1994, went to see The Mask with my brother and folks and they showed dumb and dumber trailer during coming attractions and I just remember wishing I was seeing that movie right then and there I knew it was going to be a classic!
Watching cody leach's videos brings me joy, it's such a p-a-r-t why because it is.
(The mask reference for those who don't know lol)
Nice list! Glad to see the Majestic and Cable Guy here. While they don’t make my top 10, I think they are very underrated.
My top 10:
1. The Mask
2. Liar Liar
3. Bruce Almighty
4. Fun with Dick and Jane
5. I Love You Philip Morris
6. The Truman Show
7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas
8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
9. A Series of Unfortunate Events
10. Horton Hears a Who!
I’m gonna rewatch Dumb and Dumber. Maybe it’ll climb for me like it did for you. Same with Ace Ventura.
Liar Liar is one of the greatest movies ever. Kind of like The Naked Gun. Its still hilarious every time you watch it.
There’s always that topic of “what celebrity would you have dinner with if you could?”
Always Jim Carey, for me. So I appreciate you for this list, Cody.
I haven't watched this ranking yet, but Liar Liar is the GOAT Jim Carrey film. "THE GOD DAMN PEN IS BLUE!!!!!"
Cable guy is amazing. Needs more recognition for sure.
My favorite Bruce Willis movie (not including Die Hard) is Hostage.
The majestic is one of my all time favorite jim carrey movies
My favorite "Cousin Jim" movies (I called him this due to watching his movies constantly as a kid, such that he became a member of the family):
1. Liar Liar
2. The Mask
3. Dumb and Dumber
4. The Truman Show
5. Ace Ventura 1
6. Bruce Almighty
7. Fun with Dick and Jane
8. Yes Man
9. The Majestic
10. Ace Ventura 2
I just don't find the cable guy to be as rewatchable as the others, but I think it's an underrated movie with a great cast (many just before they blew up).
Flip Flop Dumb and Dumber and Cable Guy for me and we got the exact same list pretty much....glad you got Cable Guy up there so high
Ahh the fucking cable guy. I didn’t think it was gonna make it. Hell yeah dude
My Top 5 Jim Carey Movies:
1. Cable Guy
2. Truman Show
3. Liar Liar
4. Eternal Sunshine
5. Me Myself and Irene
I love that you had Cable Guy at #1! I love that movie 😊
Great list Cody! I must admit I was surprised you didn’t mention The Mask. I’m curious what your thoughts are on it.
Was his first real big girl that showed why he was a obvious breakout after he left ''In Living Color"
2. Dumb and Dumber; Perhaps the most ridiculously stupid comedy, which makes it hilarious. Carey and Daniels are perfect as Lloyd and Harry, two idiots who try to return a lost briefcase but end up in the mist of a crime. This was hilarious even though some of the humor in this aged
---------------------------------------------------------------
Honorable Mentions
•YES MAN; Carey plays a guy who is hesitant about taking risks until he attends this seminar where you're encouraged to say YES to everything. Funny and genuinely touching at times as him and Deschanel have great chemistry together.
•The Number 23; Jim plays a man who discovers a book that leads him to theories and conspiracies connected to the number 23. Interesting thriller that doesn't get mentioned often with his film career
•Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2; Carey as the evil villain Dr Robotnik/Egghead (in the film based on the hit Sega game) was an interesting choice and then I seen the films and was convinced he was perfect for the part.
•Once Bitten;Very early Jim Carey film where he plays a high school kid just trying to lose his virginity to his girlfriend. Unfortunately a female vampire (Lauren Hutton) who is a vampire needs virgin blood to stay youthful and he's her blood supply. Campy but fun film
•Man on the Moon; Jim Carey fully endulged himself in this role entirely not breaking character as he plays Andy Kaufman in this autobiography pic.
Brilliant choice for a video request I loved jim Carrey ❤
My absolute favorite Jim Carrey movies are Liar Liar (the gag reel alone makes me laugh until I cry and my stomach hurts), and Dumb and Dumber (the bathroom scene 😂)
Damn I'm surprised The Mask didn't make either
I'm a huge fan of Jim Carrey! Can't wait to see Sonic 2 and I also hope he returns as the iconic Ace Ventura for a 3rd film which he recently agreed to do under the condition that a really good director directs.
