That looked like tons of fun. The Osaka version of supping was interesting to watch. Also, for a bit I thought you were using "Bloom" by The Paper Kites as background music.
The technique the bonito was cooked in is called "searing". It looks so tasty!! I'm a huge fan of seared fish. If and when I go to Osaka I'll have to check it out!! Great video as always
Yay, two videos for the price of one! 😄 I'm aways happy when I see a new video from you 🙂 Osaka looks interesting. And I think every boat should have a kotatsu, what a great idea! 🙂
Love seeing these kind of adventures! My family and I will be visiting Japan next year and want to do things that are different from the usual. Thanks this is right up our alley..lol. 👍🏻❤️👍🏻❤️👍🏻
Top ____ Non-Touristy things to do in _________ should be a new series of yours. I was in Japan for 2 weeks back in March 2019 and we did a lot of stuff but it would have been a nice thing to know some non-touristy stuff ahead of time. Kyoto and Hiroshima were two places we went and would be good subjects for future videos. We originally planned on 1 day in Kyoto and 1 in Osaka however because of the sheer amount of stuff in Kyoto we decided to cancel Osaka and spend an extra day in Kyoto. Glad we did too.
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Should you ever find yourself in Colorado, headed to Rocky Mountain National Park/Estes Park, be sure to stop in Lyons. There is a pinball joint there that is the ONLY place I have seen a heads up pinball game. Joust! You actually shoot balls towards your opponent.
I love Osaka, much more than Tokyo! The retro style, the people, the foooood! In Amerikamura they also have the very first takoyaki shop, which also won the Michelin prize.
we went to the Osaka Aquarium and the ferris wheel in june 2017! Was so awesome, 10/10 would recommend. Stayed for a few days in Osaka the next year, nov 2018. Osaka is an AMAZING PLACE!!! Also, in the 2018 trip, we sat on a bench next to the running man to wait for a friend to arrive, listening to that damn Ocotpus on the wall singing the epic "TAAAAKOYAKI" song
Okay that damn mountain - my bf was making me walk there in the boiling hot summer all like “I have something really great to show you” and when we got there I was like “wtf why did you make me suffer for thissssss”
Awh man that’s rough, I think it’s great you’re focusing on it next time though! Even after spending a lot of time there recently I feel like I barley know the city 😂 there’s so much to see and do!
1:57 I don't know what those are. They're it's not like any paddleboard I've ever seen..you don't stand on them. you don't paddle them and they're not boards.. lol cool tho.
Two kotatsu patrols reported in Osaka! Silver bowl flipper hall looks great! (Remind me of those golden eras when city's used to have game halls.) Now I have seen Emma from future :-)
My first thought when clicking on the video was “I wonder if she’ll go to the pinball place”. Used to get drunk and play the Lord of the Rings tables in there a lot hahaha
What is the custom for tipping for these fun activities/events in Japan? Like if I tipped the people who helped with the life vests and who guided you down the water would they accept it or would it be insulting or something else? Just generally curious. 😋
Sooo... Emma, I have been watching your videos since your interview in your tiniest tiny apartment with Bryce Langstrom. What is he like in real life? A little intimidating, and goal oriented, but nice at the same time?

I was taught the lower limit is 500 meters actually, I forgot about that! Having said that, it makes sense that there are different cut-off points in different languages and places. And where I live in the Netherlands, there are definitely hills of five meters and under that are called berg 'mountain', no matter what geographers say!
i was looking for something to watch this morning with my tea and I found it! Thanks Emma :)
I'm in Osaka right now. Leave this Wednesday. Perfect timing!
Omg I hope you’re enjoying it! I loved my time in Osaka, I wanna visit more often in the future 👍🏻
@@TokidokiTraveller just had 12 takoyaki balls in one sitting, maybe I had too many? Is there such thing has too much takoyaki

Woah! Around here SUPs look more like flatter surfboards. Nothing nearly as fancy as those! Love the kotatsu 😂
Yay! Osaka is my favourite place in Japan, especially the America Mura area! Such a cool vibe and the nicest people!
Thank you for this video Emma! We love finding out about non-touristy places to see in Japan 😀
The music is amazing ! Love the vibe.
This video was like a warm kotatsu. lol Cheered me up! 👍

I really really want some of that bonito now. Food is my #1, #2, and #4 reasons for travel.

This was a great video that went from very good to incredible by the addition of the sexy soft-served frozen yoghurt dance at the end.
Thanks, that was pretty cool. You make me smile.
When I visited Osaka we were hit by a bad Typhoon and missed out on what we wanted to do, Osaka is my main focus for my next trip to Japan!

Great video! Love the outro, so funny XDD
Where do you get all your music from? Is there a database somewhere of royalty-free music you are using?

Ohhh shiiit that pinball place looks amazing
Did you see the Statue of Liberty in America-mura? It is on the roof of a building near where you were sitting.
Hi Emmy! Never here early, so hi Emmy have fun in osaka! Keep us updated! :D
Went to the Tempozan area last December, didn't know I went mountain climbing accidentally.
Being a tourist but dreaming of doing non-tourist things. The life philosophy of the average millenial consumer.
Thanks for sharing and making a video even though yall were busy shooting :)
Mount Tenpō huh... Probably the only mountain I’ll ever climb😂
There is a nice aquarium next to that mountain. I went there couple of times, but never tempozan. 😁

QUITE interesting. SUPs evolved since Ive had a rental SUP business. very very interesting niche in that sort of business. very cool.
I think this SUP is unusual 😂 but innovative! I think there’s still normal SUPs out there without kotatsu and boat motors 🤔

Osaka is always a good idea! ❤️
Black Knight pinball... total classic :-D
This is a video full of an interesting thing!
This was fun. "Holy crap, guys!" I don't think I've had that strong a reaction to food.
Love it! That game reminds me of the 12 animation from Sesame Street when I was a kid. I’m going to have to find and link it to this comment now 😝

You're a QT and eat constantly in most of your videos. You're slim with a tight body. Where does it all go!?
Emma, I really hope that "icing" people doesn't exist there. That smirnoff strikes fear into my very core.
