The whole movie would have been their attempt to push the refrigerator up the hill to roll it down to the valley, while exchanging deep philosophical ideas about fate, man's place in the world, Sisyphus' myth, Odysseus and the Odyssey, and of course, Oedipus and the Oedipal architype as embodied by Marty almost humping his mom. The movie would certainly have a different vibe to it.

Actually some close ups of some of the actors in the movie were actually shot when Eric Stoltz was still on the project cause they tried reshooting them and didn’t like how they turned out so they used the ones they already had since Stoltz wasn’t visible in the close up maybe an ear of something is visible but not his whole face

The biggest weird but true fact is that Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale refuse to allow Back to the Future to be remade, despite the truckloads of money they would no doubt receive for doing so. It's called artistic integrity.
