- This Sorceress build felt like the best one for speedrunning. Who needs to speed level when you can experience LORE. Can't wait for the endgame!
It was a bit of a skip cinematic and dialogue simulator, but honestly this felt kind of fun to learn. Different from a Diablo II: Resurrected speedrun, that's for sure.
It's definitely not the most optimized and I still don't know that much about this game, but I'm happy with this time considering I only spent like 5 hours on this. Also had two disconnects during this run which cost at least 1-2 minutes. But it's better than playing queue simulator, so can't complain too much

Hey, great run! Did you use skill points from the renown of a previous character? And the permanent upgrade of the altars as well? This is a much more interesting run than whatever it’s going to end up being with 10 renoun skill points and mounts
it’s a small skip but at 4:40 you can dodge to get up and talk to him faster, same any other time you would need to wait for the getting up animation

Awesome! Not sure if it was just me, but if I had the rubber-band gate effect I could town portal and immediately take it without having to leave game. Hope this tip helps for your next one :)
22:35 I got here but there was no fiery portal. Did I miss something back somewhere to trigger this? I find D4's quests not easy to follow at all, compared to D2.

I don't know if it would matter in the slightest, but there's usually time to kill a couple wargs while Vani walks to the tavern. I believe they're just to the left of the northern exit
Curious if you tried speed running a druid and if so, what build you ended up with?
If you drop a pin on the map it will carve a path there. Just right click on the world map

Nice - I hate that we can't remove all the extra global buffs we get though, I made multiple accounts just to speed run without any bonuses.
My best time was 58:41 on world tier 2 with a fresh 0 buffs character

@@Kano_AU The level scaling like when you join a lvl 8 party, yet everything scales up to your level. It felt pretty rough on druid.
@@Mrfiufaufou felt that on all 5 classes, necro was a breeze, sorc was boring, barb was struggle but fun, druid was torture but little fun, and rogue was aite but at times awkward. It felt like I had to check my gear every 2 levels and then after a druid hardcore run test, felt like I need to actually farm gear every level if I wanted to solo everything event wise. Story wise should be fine but it could be bad since potions are limited. Health regen saved my softcore druid from dying at all during last campaign fight with vigo. If not for 6 hp regen woulda died. I get why they implemented it, but when ur lvl 25 and u join some lower lvl friends and get 2-3 shot by a balrog rare with phantasm it's like wtf m8. Granted that was on a druid lol with a few legends. But even then, leveling phase shouldn't require legendaries much imo. Game is in a weird state but it is beta.
is Diablo 4 even complete?
is easiest difficulty always chosen to speedrun these kinds of games? and did you consider doing other classes for this run?
Well, for the lowest possible overall time, yeah. Higher difficulty settings would require at least some grinding to get past the bosses, or at least a fair amount of luck since you can't stack health potions.

Why does your level change from 12 down to 8 @39:45 ?
You're probably looking at the top right number which is not the character's level but the level of the mobs in this zone.
His character level can be checked at the bottom of the screen next to the xp bar

When you get stuck try using teleport and travel back instead of leaving the game, it worked for me

it is not your first character you had lilith status cause on lvl one you had points already. still good but it is not fresh character with zero account lilith bonuses
well obviously this commenter will be buying and donating a fresh copy of the game for all the speedrunners for every single individual attempt/practice & complete run.. right?

imo a speedrun should be done on a fresh account without the extra skill points tbh , or u wouldnt be just allowed to use the points, still a nice and fast run though

How is he not letting others play the game? If he prefers to skip the dialogue that's his choice. It's not like we can't do a full story playthrough on a separate character.

Approximately 1 hour ago I watched Kano's speedrun. Ever since that tragic event, I have in fact not been able to play the game.
"That's because the open beta closed" they jest, but I know the truth. Speedrunning is a gateway drug and needs to be dealt with immediately.
@@Oddigan Hm... with a second view against mine, perhaps it is I who is incorrect. In fact, I didn't realize it until you pointed it out, but it seems I too am unable to play the game now. I hadn't tried yet today but since you mentioned it, I attempted to, and it seems for the life of me I just cannot play anymore. Perhaps I am still currently knee-deep in the speedrun miasma and my previous comment wasn't even of my own clear thinking. I will have to think this over and see if I can find a way to cleanse myself of watching and learning speedrunning. Thank you for this eye-opening account, Mr Dog.

Not only its easy mode but like far from the record... by 6 minutes and thats as far as I know.. 41minutes in Hardcore, Tier II difficulty. By none other than Hoors.
