Love the intimacy of isolated vocals. Feels like a peak behind the curtain, and as amazing as they are, it also makes it seem less magical - and easier to understand how a song this great could be created
Ronson was pure genius! And underrated as hell! Not as a guitarist but arranger and producer!
Mick Ronson's strings break my heart they are so sweet, pretty, colorful.
Wow, always wanted to hear the drums isolated !
Andy Sexgang Quote
“We’ve been listening the the Ziggy Stardust Album and How Mick Ronson can take a Single Guitar Note and Make is Sing Like a Chorus of Angels”
Woody was sooo good for Bowie. Perfect balance and restrained rhythm. Everything he did with the spiders (like his band mates!) was absolutely perfect for Ziggy!!
Holy smokes, I had no idea Mick was so talented with so many instruments! Thank you for doing this, I'd wanted to hear the strings for this for so long and I'm pretty sure I damaged my hearing by cranking it up to search for it 😂
Woody Woodmansey is a criminally underrated drummer…he’s phenomenal.
What a masterpiece
Banger! Love it! 🙌🏾Thank you!
Thanks for this! I always enjoyed the ones you've done with The Beatles music!!!!
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! ❤️☺️
Excellent!
He plays the 12 string so well. I remember always fighting with mine to get the strings to not sound muted when played. It requires bigger callouses...lol.
True hahah
that progression is magical. ugh...
@@donniebobb74 Really is a feat of complete brilliance from Ronson, unbelievable
Show de bola o baixo!!
i love you for this
Good stuff..
Any Possibility of Maybe Deconstructing Lady Stardust?
Hey DLD2 ! i love this Channel, the fact that you take Time to do those incredible déconstruction is juste Amazing, keep it up ! I was juste wondering if you can explain why and how you do it ? Do you work with the vinyls ?
Btw its juste à suggestion, but i would love to see type of music sutch as : Soul, Funk, Disco, from the 70' and 80' 😉
I do it so that people can analyze and study the parts separately, im using izotope, riff station, melodyne and 5.1 mixes
@@DLD2Music Tnx for the answer 😄
LFG!!
Mas de Bowie pleaaseeee
👍

I cant hear the mellotron, am I missing it or smth?
what sound is on the mellotron i cant hear it
Ludwig Classic Maples didn't exist in 1972. They were made of maple, but "Classic Maple" is a modern line.
Thanks
Do you think Mick Ronson was using a Tone Bender, or playing straight into his amp?
He is using a tone blender
*Tone Bender MKI
I would say straight into the amp
@@mikereed8181 what kind of amp?
Da suonarci sopra è.....come essere lì.....un un suo musicista....abbandonarsi a LUI MA.....TOTAMENTE. CIAO. MI ABBANDONO...CIAOOOOOOO......
Which part does the Mellotron play in this song?
some orchestral arrangements are emulated with it
Haz más deconstrucciones de seru giran pa
bass drum track might be clipping?
Wdym?
I hear vocals in the piano mellotron and lead guitar track
Bleed Vocal
The bass in the chorus is so strange to me. I got lost! 😅
Some bass lines are like that, they only sound right when they are dubbed over the full composition, on their own they sound a bit off
Segundo!
Que curioso, yo subí también de David, pero de Moonage Daydream

@@DLD2Music Eso bro xD
Bowie was butt ugly back then. I became a fan when I was a teenager during his plastic solul era. When he started wearing suits. I later learned that he got his teeth fixed too around this time. And he picked up a couple of pounds. I also later found out during this time he was living on heroin , milk, and he was smoking five packs of cigarettes a day. My guess is that’s why he died relatively young at the age of 60.
Passed away at 69. He was most beautiful years 1974-1987
And to think Mick Ronson did not receive any writing or production credit for this song is just shameful. He wrote all of David Bowies string arrangements during this period. Plus he played 4 out of the out of the 6 instruments used to create this song. Shame on you David Bowie... Just sayin'!!
Poor mick...
I don t like bass line
Why?
@@DLD2Music I don t know why...
