I like that duke #2 dogless, they look a lot like bridger #2 dogless at least from a glance, woo-hoo mixer awesome, I need to make a bunch of wax dirt, but I don't have a mixer, what's the best way without a mixer
I wish we'd had these way back when I had my deer lease. The coons were tearing our feeder mechanisms apart to get at the corn. We even put cages over them and they still tore into them! I finally ended up smearing axle grease on the feeder legs to keep them from climbing up. The deer didn't seem to mind the grease smell either. But, it sure was messy when I had to move them!
Instead of J hooks and chain. I just use 1/16" coated steel cable with 3/32" crimps, and 300lb Fishing Swivels. Keeps things nice and clean, and not bulky. Single "center crimp" for Coon, and Double "outer crimp" for coyotes. Double crimp is just assumed to be stronger. Also get some Single crimp stops and you can make "slip knots", which are much handier than the large loops you use for DPs.

I found the destructions on the cement mixer to be a bit vague , especially about the tub set up.. Good luck , It took me a couple of tries to get it right.. Great vid thanks
Yes sir coon Trappin is the cheapest and easiest trapping to get started on. My little niece (aka) baby trapper wants paint some pink lol do we goin to a few pink dogproofs this season. Peace brotha.
You have some Duke haters don’t ya?! Lol I’ve been using Dukes since they came out. I have hundreds of them. Last season I got 158 raccoons in Duke DPs. Love em! Can’t wait to get some dogless #2s.
I used mine stright out of the box... baited it and tied it to a tree with a piece of chain... just like the keyboard to the computer, Plug and Play...
I was thinking you should talk to Dunlap about getting some bullfrog urine to dab behind your ears. Then you can go blow gun hunting and they won't notice you coming until it's too late.

Where did you get the mixer from Ikea .i hope you only paid half price seeing as it was only half made when you got it . Don't get the wrong side of the delivery woman that dropped that off ,She'll have a grip like a vice .

Those are great traps. I use them around our deer feeders.
The cables on the Dp's is definitely the way to go. Faster setting them and faster on relocation time.

I like those trap. I order some when I first started trapping, but found out we can't use them in Washington at all. so I got rid of them.
