Ren is honestly a killer musician
Yeah he really is, but in my opinion is it real magic when they play/sing altogether.

Ren is one of the biggests musicians of our time....he absolutely kill it....and it feels crazy to say that...🙈
But I have never seen so much talent and good style and feeling for songs in one person.
Add rapping and piano playing... Wishing Ren a speedy recovery getting treatment in Canada for Lymes Disease and thank you to everyone whose contributed to the crowd funding to get Ren to Canada 👏🙏❤️😘
I stumbled upon Ren Gill and also The Big Push just recently and am blown away by them. At age 64 I'm learning so much about my own musicianship from these guys.

I've lived in Brighton all my life and proud to be a Brightonian. Ren is reps my home town like a boss. He's just one of many talented performers to come from the city, we're known for it and I could reel off a list of mega talented musicians but Ren may be the most unique individual of them all! So so talented, my god.

You need to look up Ren's story (first singer), it's really phenomenal. The guy has lived through some heath issue hell. "The Ren" just released 12/15/22 is really a piece of pure creativity and genius.

I love this performance, they all shine through and are so talented. You were right when you said no one sounds like Ren, I think his vocals on this are just out of this world amazing. They are from Brighten England. The Big Push has 4 members; Ren, Romain Axisa, Glen Chambers & Gorran Kendall. They all write & will play different instruments (switch) according to what song they are playing. They have 2 albums, 1) Can Do Will Do & 2) The Busking Sessions. 🤟❗
P.S. The Nina Simone song, which was from 1960, was Trouble in Mind.
If anyone reads this, I hope that you also check out Ms. Simone, she was a musician's musician, by which I mean, Nina was the kind of gifted individual that other musicians would be most likely to have in their music collection.
Another example would be Ray Charles.
Ren Gill.....musician of my dreams. Have been following him for the last two years sincei discovered this cover on youtube. Voice like no other, fucking amazing. Bongo Bong is another great cover by them. Praise you by fat boy slim...another amazing cover by them

there are so many more songs and amazing covers that the big push does, id love to see more reactions from you from them, some of my favorite are, Bongo bong, English man in new york, i shot the sheriff ( the version where he wears the red suspenders) as for Ren himself........if you haven't fallen down the Ren- rabbit hole oh your in for a treat, im think this man can do and play and sing just about everything, in any genre in any accent or character not to mention his acting abilities in his one take originals like the tale of jenny and screech, or money game part 3 and his live duet with chinchilla singing chalk outlines, a gut punch of emotions and beauty

Ren & Sam Tompkins first caught my eye back in 2018 with their original live version of their song Blind Eyed. Listened to it 6 times in a row, and have remained a loyal fan of everything Ren has done since that day. The Big Push is phenomenal, as you can clearly see. You can't go wrong with any performance they've put out there, and I so hope to see them live here in the States one day (obviously, they put on a helluva show).
But I still go back to Blind Eyed, most of all.

What I don't understand is that you americans think all music comes from america. Then it should be Indians music...every single person in america except the Indians is from europe, asia and africa partly...your roots is not so long. In europe, where I come from we have music in our breastfeed, we grow up with hymns and folklures. Its not that I don't respect you as a person or musician, you are good, but please dont say we copy you because you had an amazing artist that made a good song. We copy, we evolve, we make our own impression of a beautiful woman or a man's song, dont matter where they're from. Look to europe or africa, we have better artists than you, mostly. But in general I love and respect your words...they are amazing street artist from Brighton in England...who can argue about Englands influences in music...in all genres...? Sorry. Have a good day!

When I hear him sing in this particular song, I can say without hesitation that Black American Music is the main and very very strong influence.
