Someone already mentioned it but I want to put in a second request for their version of I shot the sheriff/road to zion/ hip hop (red suspenders version. It's insane lol
The rapt attention you gave then was the best reaction. ❤They're the best band that not enough people have heard of. Even casually busking on the street they do stadium worthy performances! There's so much from them to discover.
Glad you really enjoyed this one. The guitarist on the lead electric (did the solo) is Romain Axisa. He was the captive guy under the hood playing the acoustic guitar in Money Game 1. He played that piece blind as he could not see through the hood. TBP are an outstanding band. I have not seen any work from them that was not on point. They harmonise, co-produce, co-write, and share the limelight around. All their work as a band is really collaborative. Such a shame they have gone separate ways when Ren went into treatment in Canada. Their are rumours that they may re-unite for some performances. Nice reaction. Kia kaha from NZ
**ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED** congratulations! You have discovered new ren friends The Big Push! Another new rabbit hole to fall down, and so much amazing music and incredible talent! 🥹💜💜 and ren is an absolute BEAST on the bass, he plays the bass often in the big push but not always 😁💜
TBP is one of the best bands that I have ever heard. And this is on the street! They are all so talented in their own right, multi instrumentalists, and can , and do switch off on doing the lead vocals and guitar. They were also flat mates and best mates and because they all have so much respect for the art and the music they never had a frontman. About as ego-less as one can be in a field that requires enough ego to put yourself out there. They do a lot of cover mash ups that are really phenomenal as well as their own original work. Sweet Little Lady ( MV and Live), Swan Song ( actually one of Gorran’s but such incredible harmonies) and Dignity ( which is beautiful and bittersweet because you can see them eat , sleep, and breathe their art AND you can see that they really are great friends).❤
It's not his band, they all have their moments in the spotlight, they formed the band together, you check out sympathy for the devil rolling stones cover. It's great and also an original song called watch out live busking session ❤❤❤ 😊
"The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. The members of "The Big Push" are all independent solo artists who struck up a friendship, moved in together, and formed the band. Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, and Romain Axisa take turns singing lead vocals at times, except for the drummer Glen Chambers. However, each of the band members is now focusing on a solo career after Ren had to go overseas to undergo treatment for his multiple medical issues brought on by Lyme Disease. The band, at least for the time being, performed their last official busking session and gave their last concert in September 2022 due to the fact that Ren was leaving for Canada to undergo treatment for his multiple health issues. I believe they did record some songs yet to be released. No telling what the future holds for them, individually or as a group. Their covers of "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/Hip Hop," "Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble So Hard," "Watch Out," “War Pigs,” “Roadhouse Blues,” "My Generation," “Paint It Black,” "An Englishman in New York," “Bongo Bong,” and many others are all awesome. On “These boots are made for walking’/Satisfaction/Everybody,” “Praise You” (Fatboy Slim Cover), and “What Kind Of Woman Is This,” all three take a turn singing. Their original songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” “Watch Out” and so many others are equally impressive. Gorran Kendall is a singer/songwriter/busker from the UK. He plays the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, the harmonica, and frequently sings lead for "The Big Push." As a solo artist, he is a folk singer, and his music is reminiscent of 60s folk. I love Gorran's music. Romain Axisa is a singer/songwriter/busker originally from Toulouse, France, where he started playing the guitar at age 12. At age 14, he was the singer in a rock band and later became a rapper. He plays guitar, bass, piano, and the ukulele (pineapple ukulele) featured in the song "Bongo Bong." In addition, Romain sings lead on a few "The Big Push" songs. His solo music is unique, and I don't know what genre it would be categorized as. I really enjoy his music as well. I would highly recommend watching/listening to their song "Dignity." Not only is it a beautiful song, but the accompanying music video offers the audience an intimate view into their day-to-day on and off-stage interaction. It's almost like being there with them in their home, on the streets, and on stage. It is one of my favorite videos and has been very underappreciated and overlooked by most reactors and fans alike.
The very best of the Big Push. This one shows their performance in a jam session-like situation. It shows how tight they are, and how connected they were as performers. This song has many millions of views, and it is no surprise. Note the respect they have for each other, as they take their turns in the spotlight. I envy this crowd which, for whatever reason, was small that day, compared to their usual audiences. Perhaps this was their opening song? It’s an outstanding performance! Worthy of the best in the world, I’d say.
Discovered your reactions recently and I’ve been really enjoying them. Love when artists react to other artists. It’s great to discover new artists through these as well. I’ll be sticking around for your original work as well.
One of my very favorite Ren/The Big Push performances! I call them the modern day Beatles because they are all so talented. I hate that I discovered my favorite band after they broke up. Good news is they broke up because Ren was moving to Canada for medical treatment. Ren has said in live streams that he is down to get back together if they are, but that they are all scattered around the globe.
Would like to add this: Gorran said on a live stream that he felt 5 years was plenty and he wanted to travel. He felt as they became more successful it became more like business. The TBP was also under the management team that Ren and Chinchilla were under and they all had a very hard drawn-out struggle breaking free from those contracts. Glen and his girlfriend were also apparently ready to move on and go traveling. Ren was hoping his stay in Canada would be about 3 months. To say, I don't think the move to Canada was solely or actually why they split. He said at the time it wasn't anyone's "fault" but different members had different "priorities."
Unfortunately The big push have disbanded because Ren had to go for 18 months of medical treatment in Canada. Fan favourites is the red suspenders version of i shot the sheriff the road to Zion and hip hop. There’s a multitude of videos with a fantastic range of styles with covers and original songs.
Love your reaction man 👍 You have to check The Big Push with I shot the sherrif / Road to Zion / Hip Hop, absolutly ! This live performance, busking in Brighton's streets, is phenomenal, really ! 😘
I'm a big fan of almost everything Ren touches, but The Big Push is by far and away my favorite of his work. Those guys are SO tight. They have many many great covers and original tracks. Bongo Bong, Englishman in New York, Sweet Little Lady.... and so many more.
Great choice for the big push, is their mash-up of “I shot the sheriff, road to Zion, hip hop”, red suspenders, busking version. Also covering Black Sabbath.
Great❤may I suggest a Playlist? Ren's collab with Webby is 🔥it's Chris Webby Baggage feat. Ren. Webby is now whitelisting reactors so they can monetize. (Ren already does that). Be ready for Thursdays drop, it's gonna be wild
This is early. You can tell by how thin Ren is. I'd bet anything that the big-brotherly head rub by Gorran is because he knew Ren wasn't feeling well. So few remember that he was in pain, physical & mental, all of the time during most of their 5 yrs. of busking. BTW, that guy with the long hair is Gorran (rhymes with foreign) Kendall. He's English. The other guitar is Romain Axiza (Ax-eez-a), He's French. Drummer is Glenn Chambers. He's Irish. Ren is Welsh. Every one of them is excellent.
If you’re just now getting into the big push, you are in for a treat. You definitely need to react to their I shot the sheriff video and their war pigs video… With Ren in the red suspenders.
Romain Axisa is the guy on the solo. He has some awesome songs too. Hos guitar playing comes from the soul. Check out Time After Time live in the St Augustine Chapel. He makes that guitar cry!!!
Dude you have no idea how good The Big Push are. Thought you were going down the Ren Rabbit hole? More like Ren & Friends and that starts with TBP! 🔥🔥🔥
Can’t wait for you to see more of The Big Push! Try I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion/HipHop from the busking session with Ren wearing the red suspenders. Everything from that session is 🔥🔥🔥. Thanks for another great reaction! ☮️💙😎
The last song that they recorded together of their own is called heart attack. You should check it out. It was from last summer so probably 11 months ago maybe a year. Also the one they do on the rooftop I think it’s called bingo. Bongo is so good.
Can you imagine walking through Brighton doing your shopping and you come across these awesome humans performing such phenomenal live music. Please do the I shot the sheriff video. (The red suspenders version.) My favourite Big Push song is The Bongo Bong a Manu Chao cover fabulous energy and vibe to it. Also love Swan Song which is there own song. Loving you discovering the neverending depths to Ren’s talent!! 🤩🤩🤩 Take care Prada, keep doing what you do. 😊👍
Suggestion as others have too…. I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/ Hip Hop, (red suspenders version) it is absolutely brilliant and you will LOVE it. All the Big Push band members are exceptional musos and they all have great showcase of their talents as you see more of them. ❤❤❤❤❤
Ren didn't miss a beat. They are all awesome! They do covers but also have originals as well. Swan Song, Sweet Kittle Lady, Watch Out, and Precious to name a few.
Ren's latest "Bitter sweet symphony (live)" and his Chriss Weeby colab from days ago " Baggage". The red susspenders "I shoot the sheriff _Road to Zion_Hip hop" its always a must do on rens Big Push band playlist. Nice reactions keep going Peace ✌️

I think most parents breath a sigh of relief when the summer holidays end and the kids go back to school. 😂
They are all such awesome artists. Just a bunch of super talented boys who LOVE music. They are so cool.

A great song from TBP that they each have a singing part in is "What Kind Of Woman Is This." It really showcases their talent as a group.
👍🏽
This is one of their best mash up covers, but their own original songs are EVEN BETTER! Lovely reaction!
This is my favorite busking session of TBP.

I love this band ❤ they give everyone a chance to shine and they’re all impressive and important to the group
Anytime Ren has a base in his hand. I’m in heaven. I’m a bass player not even a eighth of his level. It’s amazing. Love it.
