I haven't enjoyed music this much for a long time.
Has anybody ever found Ren and not ended up down a Ren rabbit hole? He's like cake for days, each layer a different wonderful flavour. The Big Push I love the energy and brika brack fit ❤️

I just rewatched this and realized just how tight they are as a band, without even rehearsing a version of a song. Ok we’ve never done this acoustic before…I’ll play guitar…now bass…now back to guitar…now we’ll clap…now harmonize…now quiet…now loud. Damn! Never on a million years would anyone know they were improvising. It sounded as good as a studio version. I can’t believe I only discovered them after they broke up.

Edit: seriously guys, I know you’re all in different “spaces in life” right now, but flippy dippy & all things aside, if you do happen to see this comment, please ponder the thought of releasing these sessions on dvd as they are - they are truly bangin & would be snavelled up like hot cakes!!

Ren I discovered you just by pure chance a couple nights ago (HI REN) and have been just falling down the substantial rabbit hole and various tunnels, dens and warrens you have dug out! Lit my heart and soul up with hot fire! if the opinion of an Internet stranger halfway round the world means anything, you are legit carving out a truly original place in music history. I think I have watched this every night for about the last 3 weeks since I found it to get in happy place before I sleep so no nightmares. So far no nightmares! Thanks guys! Just discovered Ren and the Big Push. I'm obsessed. I'm lucky enough to have a professional musician partner and I get to see some amazing musicians but these guys...next level. And most of all there's a joy to everything they do.

They are incredible. No matter what, where and when they play, it always sounds great. Many bands don't manage such a sound and such vibes after weeks of mixing and perfecting their recordings. They just sit down, play, sing and that comes out. They have music in their blood. For sure.
I don't believe there's anything chaotic here. It's - even if I agree they are great musicians - only commucation. There's nothing "real", or let's say "improvised", in this video. Nothing chaotic here, except for those who would believe it's chaotic. :)
