I had the privilege of knowing the guy who designed and built the large Santa displayed in Blacklers. Great guy, who sadly passed away a few years ago.
Anyone know the period(s) these photos cover? This Yank was in Liverpool for two weeks leading up to Christmas 1981. Fantastic time! I remember the Salvation Army (?) band playing at the intersection of White Chapel and (__?__). Did a decent job with my first-ever Yard of Ale!
That brought back some memories. The Tatler, I forgot about that, My mam used to take me when I was Little.👌😂
