Ye Hole in Ye Wall also uniquely has vertical stillaging ie, beer feed is just simple gravity. Another great old pub is the White Lion in West Kirby on Wirral, one of oldest in N. England . . can't remember date !
This isn't the same place, but I was at a Rigby's in the early '80s. My recollection is it was primarily a tea/coffee bar and on a main street in the city centre.
Rigby's has been a Public House at all times. I first visited as a 16 year old in 1969. Some parts have been sectioned off for non-alcoholic use. indeed it operates as three different Licensed Premises .

It was only two years old when he started looking for it.

I know mates who have said the same thing.
It's not '295 year's old', it's '295 years old'. Your illiteracy is shocking....
Bet someone nicked his bike afterwards
Not a Palestine flag in sight , unlike other cities !
