I ordered a 1/2 dos of these fletched just to try them out. I was impressed with the quality and durability, so much so, that I just ordered 3 Doz blank shafts. They really are a great arrow. I can cut them and fletch them for about $57 a doz That’s pretty good for a .003 shaft. With inflation going crazy, I’m cutting cost everywhere I can. No more driving the pickup 100 miles to an archery tournament. My bow and gear fits just fine on the seat of my wife’s cute little Toyota.
Probably way too late, but Black Eagle Intrepid are a great deal for a micro-carbon shaft with vanes and points. LAS will cut them for you as well. If you are interested in outdoor 50m barebow, the AAE vanes on these will be better than the feathers. Mick, I am enjoying your channel. I especially like the interviews you are doing with all these barebow competitors. Thanks.
Yeah they look great, are you running them with pin nocks or the G nocks ? what spin are you using and # of your bow? love to get some feedback on these. With the arrows in this video .. they are so inexpensive its going to be hard to not love them .. even the eastons are say $8 each once fletched, not including the shipping. Now the quality may be A LOT better with Easton.. Hmm... Joe, maybe i can send you a couple to try and you can let me know? Think about it and let me know.
I recommend to you the good and durable Chinese micro shafts and arrows. I lived in China for a while and bought a set of similar arrows. They work fine for its price, tho I still hate the fact that they copy the Carbon Express Predator II logo on those shafts. Worth noting that they print "predator 4560" on both my 600 spine and 500 spine shafts..
Yeah that is BS but as I said in the video I didn’t buy them with the branding.. i actually don’t know if this is fake or not and if so WHY would they take the time to print that on them? They didn’t advertise as Predators? What would they gain but additional cost of setup?
@@ArcheryGeek Idk XD. But in the link that I purchased from, the seller actually labeled it "CE carbon arrows". I assume it stands for Carbon Express? I could be wrong Another thing is that my shafts use a braided-carbon-fiber type material (labeled as 3K) but as far as I know the actual Predators don't have that texture. This and the "4560" convince me that they copied the branding for some reason that we don't know.
The arrows are fake. They are DEFINITELY NOT carbon express. The real Predator 4560 is a standard diameter arrow. The slimmest Predator are the 700 and 800 spine shafts, which are .204 (5.2mm) diameter. I ordered half a dozen of these (not from linkboy, from another chinese supplier) and whilst they were also fake, they flew well enough and when I spun them they were decently straight. They're also very light, hence fast. They do actually seem like a good entry level skinny shaft so it's disappointing that they feel the need to be so corrupt - but thats the communist attitude I guess (they don't respect intellectual property rights).
So why a micro diameter and not a larger diameter? I did some 3d tourneys and most of the guys would get the larger diameter. I got in a new Riser from Lancaster today., 25in Kinetic Vygo.
Micro for 50 Metre and fat arrows for indoor. The idea is to get as close to point on without crawling or string walking and keeping the poundage as low as you can to a limit. my limit is #36 - #40. My Carbon Express X busters are Heavy! they could not even reach 50 metres with a #40 bow unless I was aiming way above the target. Also, micro diameter are not impacted by wind as larger shafts. These arrows need a much heavier tip in them though.. I am thinking of getting 150gr and replacing the 20gr. BTW that bow you got is NICE! I would love to hear about it and what you think? are you using all the weights? what # are you running?
@@ArcheryGeek I hear that. with my PSE nighthawk at 45# my arrows can make it to 50 yards, but inconsistent with that arrow recipe for that bow. And I shoot with some heavy arrows. 32" 500 spine 10.2 grain per inch and 150 grain tips. With the Kinetic Vygo, I am going to work with some new, lighter arrows(ordered), and tune them more to the bow. getting in some 400 and 340 spine arrows to with a variety of tip weight to find the best recipe for me (100, 125, new 150s, 200) Now I have only shot about 5 rounds with the Vygo, with non tuned arrows but it is nice shoot. very smooth and consistent draw. I am shooting with medium 45# limbs so the bow length is 68 inches and all the weights added. Once I get a decent arrow recipe I will play with the weights more. But the weights still do not put the bow at level, but it does hold nicely in the hand. Grip is comfortable, but came with a delamination in the wood, I contacted Lancaster and they are working on solutions. I told them they're not getting the riser back, they can just work out a new grip. lol But next upgrade. Znyper Arrow rest.
@@joshs5313 Great update. Your methodology sounds like a good roadmap for me. with 50 metres the importance of arrow tune is huge. I shouldn't say this but zniper rest scare me... if you are able to get this set up let me know. heard it is not easy and requires lots of follow up maintenance .
Thanks for checking out my channel - Please be safe everyone!
Sorry for the corny opening.. I am getting punch drunk in quarantine 😂

Thank you and never too late to for me to learn something new
Feathers will creat to much drag at 50-70 meters.Vanes are for distance.
At first I didn't understand why he left the package on the porch then I saw what year this was made... LOL!
Sounds like a great deal thank for sharing 👍🏼.
Sweet indoor set up👍🎯🏹
I have been using the Easton Apollo arrows. Micro diameter, and at a great price point. Check them out.

Broke my linkboy 800 spine in one session ugh.

how did you make the indoor target ? I would like to soo more arrows reviews (types, specs, .. etc) Thanks. Nice channel
Hashim Darwish thank you and I will start to make those videos
