I remember this lovely lady and her cozy, charming garden from the original video. Also at 73, I grew up with Janis Joplin and still have my original vinyl album and cover sleeve. So I recall when she said those beautiful hanging garden art pieces were made by her sister. Sure wish they were still making them. The new portico structure is very nice, but it must have been heartbreaking losing the old white wood one. The cottage charm of it, with the gas lanterns was magical. I love her over sized cement planters with her structured specimens and flowing flowers. I can't believe we are going to get an inside tour one day !!!! My imagination is already running wild!
@lianeabeyta4515 I would Love to hear your vignette of growing up with Janis. She gave me the spirit to be myself with no fear. At least til my mom caught me. 🤣 Boy, you just brought back some very cool memories! I'm 74 and trying to hang on to all of them. but unless you were aware of that era, no one wants to talk about them. Thank you for sharing!
Oh, my goodness! I remember this beautiful garden visit from a few years ago. Such a peaceful garden space that brings calm, quiet and beauty in this lush, green garden space. I loved and enjoyed this visit - the icing on the cake is the green mosaic bird bath. 💚💚💚 Thank you, Sammy, for inviting Linda, Stewart and all of us into your gardens.
This is one of my favourite garden tours from the first time you visited in 2020. So many wonderful ideas and inspiration for small gardens. The changes are magnificent! Love the addition of the large containers, inspired by Claus Dalby. Thank you to Sammy for allowing us to revisit her beautiful garden. 💚
I remembered this lady when I saw her and I remember her garden. This really is eye candy for a boxwood addict like me. This is probably the most inspirational garden you have shown. There is so much interest that you feel as if you are in a huge garden. It's restful, interesting and beautiful. Thank you ladies for my favourite home garden tour!💚🌳
We all remember this home! How could we forget. It's just PERFECTION! I wish I could bring her to my house to help design my front and backyard. I can only imagine how it looks in the flesh vs on video.
Love this garden! I loved it when you first toured it. Thanks for including the original footage. Interesting to see what has grown and changed. The use of containers is inspiring ❤
Sammy’s garden tour of 2020 is in my list of favorites. Not only is her garden warm, imaginative, non pretentious & beautiful. So too, seems to be Sammy’s personality, grace & style! I just love her snazzy short hair cut. Whenever, I’m having not so much of a good day. Due to multiple family losses. I watch part 1 and 2 of Sammy’s tour. Just brings a calmness & makes my heart smile. Thanks Linda for bringing us back to Sammy & Van’s. Keep this garden & Sammy in rotation!!!🥰
I remember this house it nice to go back in time and she changed the Pergola to enclosed roof too I like this one too and the added built in BBQ everything is so spectacular and clean I love it.
Like being in heaven, what a most beautiful garden! Thank you so much Linda for giving us a wonder tour of Sami's garden, and a big thank you to Sami for a 2nd tour. Can't wait to see the inside!
I love rattan mixed with crystal and silver. It just looks so good together. She has a gorgeous home and garden. I always must be thankful to the Lord for His beautiful creations of nature, without that, we wouldnt have gardens 😊❤
I remember the first time you toured us in this wonderful lady's garden. It was the time I was inspired to get some porcelain berry vine. Mine was not as successful I did not have it in the right place so I am inspired again to try again. Loved this episode and loved the flashback thank you.
After the first tour of this garden a couple of years ago, I got my hands on some of those wooly morning glory seeds. I grew it last year; it was slow to get started, but eventually took off. I loved the soft vine and leaves so much. ❤
Such beautiful structure in the garden! I like her pathways and pea gravel. And I'm glad her husband does the maintenance because I truly respect that....Where I live the community largely consists of professionals who live in 4,000 sq ft homes on the lake and I know many who say "we"and "I" did this or that in the garden when in actuality they hired others and dumped thousands of dollars into their landscape (because they can) only to have others do the work and most of the design and the homeowner only watched it being done. I am proud that I've done 80% of ALL my work in my garden, and 100% of the design. I'm a garden consultant, Master Gardener with 40 years of experience but that doesn't keep me from bringing in help when needed, i.e. landscapers for the project work. I'm very hands on and know my garden is ever evolving as the video from 2020 to now shows us. Good job Linda and Stuart!
YES!! My favorite buy far😊 Beautiful front & back yard ideas to draw from as I'm trying to rid of grass areas myself. I hope to refer back to this video for inspiration. Thank you for taking us along on this garden oasis visit with a dear friend who invited us all in💚
OMG…. This is probably one of my most favorite gardens. Everything just absolutely beautiful. I specially love the new pergola. It is so inviting. Thanks for sharing this with us. Sending hugs, love, prayers and kindness with a daily dose of encouragement.♥️🙏🏼🌹👍🏼😀
As I'vee said before small garden , hardly that a rich American's idea of a small garden differs very much from that of most ordinary American.y the way must be great to afford garden designers ,people to work in your garden, my goodness what bliss .
Think this is my most inspirational garden, even for my zone 3 garden. Will be saving this video for future reference. Thanks again for revisiting this garden. ❤❤❤❤
Enjoyed the garden except for the porcelain berry because the birds will carry berries. There are other vines that have positive ecological landscape function, such as trumpet, honeysuckle, or western wild grape. Glad you recognized it’s invasive..
A second visit is a treat. So many inspiring takeaways. Wondering if that beautiful bark is an Elm variety. Ive been admiring them locally and it appears to be the same tree.
I’m a bit confused by the side garden, do both levels belong to Sammy.? Just wondering as the second level butts right up to the next house. Beautiful! Thank you for the lovely tour. 🇨🇦👏🇨🇦
I purchased a wicker wine basket as well several years ago. At time of purchase called a demijohn or carboy. I love mine. Tks for the amazing tour. 💚🇨🇦

This was my favorite tour in 2020. Once again Sammy’s yard does not disappoint. It’s beautiful. I love how manicured it is.
The 3 arches with the vine on it are fabulous. What a good way of planting a beloved thug and keeping it under control

I'm guessing the neighbors on the right, has no side yard?
Yes, I’m also confused about that. Or did she offer to landscape their side yard for them?
THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤
That tree bark looks like a snake. Beautiful nice garden !!
