Everytime Joel reacts to Zendaya they show this song.. I think this song doesn't represent her talent at all.. She sings beautifully in Greatest Showman. She also did a collab with Labrinth for her show Euphoria. "I'm tired" gives me chills everytime.

No singing actor could ever surprise me more than Jake Gyllenhaal being on Broadway. That actually shocked me in the same way as when I found out that Mikael Persbrandt used to be a ballet dancer.

whoever made the original compilation had a weird tactic of showing some not the best live clips or in-character singing that wasn't meant to be perfectly good for some actors or just clips that don't show their full potential and then good post-production scenes for others. Should've just gone with all post-production as it's easier to find and usually (except for some cases) shows what actors can do in perfect circumstances (aka in studio). Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables, Sweeny Todd, bunch of other movies etc

The guy singing back up vocals for Kevin Bacon was actually Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates. He has a show called Daryl's house where people/bands just come and jam with him. It was a pretty cool show, and Daryl Hall is an amazing musician and singer!

Michael C Hall, yes, that's everyone's favorite serial killer, Dexter Morgan, should definitely get a feature in one of these if he hasn't already. His leading roles in Cabaret and Lazarus specifically are pretty wonderful.

The Bacon Brother who's gonna get fired is actually Daryl Hall, as in Hall and Oates, often considered one of the finest vocalists ever. The performance is actually from his show, "Live from Daryl's House", in which he has special guests and they basically jam out.
Zendaya can sing well. I would have chosen the well known music from The Greatest Showman to feature.
J Hud was discovered on American Idol... She didn't become an actress until later. And it was Dream girls... A musical...and hairspray...a musical lol But I'm sure she can act as well. She did do a few non musical roles that were good.

Can't believe no one remembers Jordan Catalano - the character Jared Leto played 1994-1995. He also had few more acting roles before he started his band.
He was in the Fight Club, and no one ever remembers that as well!

I've seen several lists about actors who can sing… yet I'm still waiting for one that includes Patrick Wilson. Why? His voice is stunning!
I thought he was great in the Phantom of the Opera.
Dirty Dancing, "She's like the Wind". That was a top 40 song. I'm so old haha.
In my opinion, he did much better than Gerard Butler in Phantom of the Opera. Then I learned that Butler sang the Phantom to sort of sound like a rock singer(because of the rock opera thing maybe) but I don't think it was a great direction. The Phantom was a lover of opera and musical theater. His personal voice styling would have reflected that. Patrick Wilson, though, sang wholly and as clear as crystal.
One of my favorite actresses who i found out could sing is Florence Pugh, in my opinion she sounds so good, would love to see what y'all think about her singing

I love the Antonio Banderas version of Phantom of the Opera, it's very nostalgic to me and holds emotion. But I think one of the best versions is the Nightwish one, even though I don't listen to the band otherwise.

I was very lucky to see Gaten Matarazzo sing when I went to see Dear Evan Hansen last month on Broadway. He was amazing and sounded great. He’s very talented!
I'm just sad Joel had no idea that that was Daryl Hall singing with Kevin Bacon.. Joel's just like "The other Bacon Brother doesn't know the lyrics at all" not realizing Daryl Hall is one of the all time great voices in Soul and R&B music. 🤣🤦♂️

The one with Kevin Bacon is from the series Live From Daryl's House done by Daryl Hall! (And since he was trying to do backing vocals of a song he'd probably only just learned that's why Daryl was very obviously not knowing the words lol)
Jared Leto was in My So Called Life and began his movie career around '94-'95, and didn't start his band until around '98
Gaten is currently on Broadway in Dear Evan Hanson and has done Broadway his whole life!
That Kevin Bacon one was performed on the show "Live From Darylls House" the show where Daryll Hall (of Hall and Oates) jams with a bunch of popular musicians.

The guy playing the guitar behind Donald Glover is actually Ludwig Göransson. A Swedish music producer and movie composer. He's the producer for much of Childish Gambino's music. He also composes music for movies and Tv-series. He won an OSCAR for the best music score for the the score to Black Panther. He also made the music for The Mandelorian series.

If you do another one of these with less famous people you could do a whole video about cast from the CW super hero shows. The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow...all have some good singers.
Grant Gustin plays The Flash but he was also on Glee. Melissa Benoist plays Supergirl, was on glee and has put out music. Jeremy Jordan was on Supergirl and has an insane voice, Carlos Valdes had his first ever acting job on The Flash but is also a great singer, Keiynan Lonsdale played Kid Flash and puts out music, Jesse L martin was on The Flash and is a well known broadway singer along with Victor Garber who was on legends of Tomorrow. John Barrowman was on Arrow and is a great broadway style singer.
You could do an entire video reacting to the musical crossover episode of The Flash and Supergirl. It's The Flash season 3 episode 17. It has all of the people above singing in it along with Darren Criss.
Billy Boyd should definitely be included if you do another one.
