We have an AB Navigo 10 VS, which is about 9’10” long, with a Honda 9.9 with electric start. It’s a tight fit but it works. A bigger dinghy will fit if you turn the installation of the crane around, but for weight and space reasons, we chose this set up.
@@dorseybeard5723 Thanks -- was wondering about an 11' Whaler because I think I'd prefer a hard boat, but haven't decided. Sounds like ~10' is a good estimate. Thank you!
@@jrcrawford4 I really don’t think this boat is big enough for an 11’ whaler. Weight becomes an issue at some point. The person to fully address the question is Kurt at American Tug. Modifications can be made. Of course, you could always look at the AT 43 or 48!
@@dorseybeard5723 Yes, I definitely want to watch the weight and bulk, even with a crane. I think the Whaler is around 450 lbs. with a 15-hp. I'm not stuck on it though -- and yes I love the 43 and the 48. In fact I was leaning towards one of those until I realized there was a second cabin on the 39. The 39 obviously draws less, and I live in N.C. where we have lots of shallow water.... I've sent a message through the AT website but gotten no answer (yet). It's been a couple or three days so I'll try again with an email first of the week. Thanks again for the video; there's no substitute for actually getting aboard but seeing the boats this way does help when you are 200 miles from a marina!

Great boat--many many wonderful hours of happy boating!
Beautiful, I love the color. You are living the dream!
We love her, and yes, we are living the dream! 😃
Now you've taken to the water. Fantastic. Congrats!
LaConnor is a great place to visit. I wish I could afford this vessel.
Nice boat!
No mention of who made this fine craft!
American Tug!
Sweet fair winds and following seas
Congratulations from Vide-Poches II. Fair winds...
Wow! I just saw this comment (3 years later!!!). Thank you!
Enjoy her. She’s a beauty.
I've enjoyed several of your videos. What a nifty boat! How much dinghy space is there on the house roof?

Lovely vessel, and nice camera work. I am at a loss to understand the 👎.
Thank you! And yes, never understand the thumbs down. But this is the internet so we shouldn't be surprised, should we?!
