I love watching the process with almost any artist, but I really, really love your commentary. So real and raw and genuine. That sense of play, of creating with no agenda, that hooked me into abstract/multimedia art. I see you doing the same, and it seems so right.
Oh that’s so nice to hear - thank you! And yes, the “creating with no agenda” part is what makes it so fun AND therapeutic. It’s essentially going to the creative gym and working out. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 If only I found actual exercise as much fun… 🤷♀️😆❤️
Greetings Jacquie. I am catching up...lollll. I have been using Nova colours and products for 12+ years for all my professional work. The paints are super rich in pigments and permanent. They're truly paints made by artists for artists. It was intriguing to see these baby beauties come to life. Thank you for always sharing.🙏🏽🥰💖✨💐
I love these!!! I love tiny & small art! I have a small strip of wall (maybe 6”) between my studio and kitchen …. I’ve hung a collection of tiny art there… nothing is bigger than 4x4 I think! I also love hanging small paintings on the wall just above table height… under the bottom edge of lampshade height! So many great places to hang little art for guests to discover!
I love these so much, I love celadon green and Payne’s gray together! The fluorescent red looks amazing too, I saw a flamingo when you put that scrap on! Loads of inspiration here, oh and, I love the “I will not throw stuff on the roof” note!😆💕🇨🇦
I have looked at these tiny canvases in the store so many times. I pick them up and then go put them back. Next time I will have to keep them in my basket and give them a try. These turned out amazing! I think they would look great in my library tucked onto a shelf.
These are totally wonderful! Makes me sorry that I threw away a bunch of tiny scraps the other day. But there are always more to be made! I think this is a lovely project and not at all silly. Small is beautiful!
We took apart an ikea bed a few years ago and I asked my hubby to cut the wood slats into 4x4 pieces. He even took the time to round the edges. Mini mixed media abstracts here I come. 💕✂️🐞💕
OMG... I was dying inside watching this! Totally a series - totally Jackie - totally beautiful - you were SO committed, I kept thinking, "OK she's done" but you sure weren't. Loved it beyond words - the enthusiasm, humour and dedication. Just WOW!!!! Be well my friend. ♥♥♥
The universe is telling me to stop saving my “special” supplies. You and Regina Brett on the same day. “Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.” AND I love the color palette on these!
*Love* *these* *Jackie!* (and your encouragement to get out what we've been 'saving' as well :) I actually tend to work small (though not quite *this* small) but I tend to intentionally use much less material in the smaller spaces -- you've encouraged me to have a stab at treating the small space with more respect :) Thanks as always for sharing your adventures in art-making ❤🧡💛
Ok so I’ve entertained picking up some tiny canvases at the Dollar Tree and doing this and now you have given me the push! I have a tiny space on the houseboat that I been thinking could use these type of tiny works! 🤞🏼
Thank you for sharing your ideas and art. These are wonderful. I just recently found a few 2 x2 inch canvases and started using them to make mini art. I found your video and love just painting on them.
I adore these tiny canvases! And could the teeny easels be any cuter? I've got a tin box of watercolor paper postcards that I've been saving for when I "get better" as watercolor painting. Sigh. You've inspired e to pull them out and use them. Thanks! ❤
These are really beautiful (as always). Only problem is: now you have to build a dollhouse - mansion to hang them in!😀💝🍀(oh haha, you had the same thought!)
LOVE these and my first thought too ... original doll house art! I love the small scraps and this is the perfect use for them. I'm pretty sure there is a niche market for such items. I used to hunt for such small delights for my daughters' doll house.
Hi just found your channel and am loving your work! I've got some of these tiny canvasses so will give it a go. I really like the colours you have used, I sometimes use too many colours in collage and it looks a mess. Less is more ! I can't wait to look at all your other videos now ! 😊😊
I have a large stack of old business cards that I can't seem to get rid of. I keep thinking I'll use them as an odd sized ATC or something. After seeing this, I think I could do a BCAD project (as opposed to the ICAD projects I see others do). It would be a fun way to use scraps :)
I also love the color palette! I have done some small things and I feel like they are almost harder because everything makes a big impact in a small space so it has to be strategic.
Hi! Yes, it's wet paper towels and a sheet of baking parchment on top. I put my paints on the parchment and it prevents them from drying out too fast ❤️

Love these tiny paintings! I think I have a few of these lying around. Must give this a try. 😍
Yes! Go for it! ❤️❤️❤️
I make little ones like this into magnets! So fun on the fridge or cute gifts.
Such a fun idea, Annie! 😊💖
So cool Jackie! Very important, tiny little gems!!!
Thanks - aren’t they cute? ☺️
I love tiny canvases! I do them all the time 😊
Thanks for sharing!
They’re so fun! 😍
Love the tiny canvases. Beautiful pieces. Have a great week.😊
Thank you so much! You too! ❤️
Too fun! TFS I raised three boys, and I understand completely..
😆😆😆❤️
I LOVE all of my tiny scraps, and this is a great example of a way to use them.
❤️❤️❤️
Nice to see you had so much fun!!! They look like little presents!! Love them!!
Thank you 🤗 They DO look like little presents! 😍
I really like the colours together. I’m always a Titan Pale Green fan.
❤️❤️❤️

Joy! I love your vudeos and am catching up after a busy few months. What a delightful place to start. Thank you 😍❤️🥰
Thanks Jan! ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Curly Tea! Yes - give them a try. It’s like a 3-D grid journal ☺️
Love!
Thank you! ❤️

You’re the BEST! Thank you! ☺️❤️❤️❤️
So sweet to see you work so small and still honor the process. My favorite scrap of collage was from your son's note!
Mine too! 🥰🥰🥰

Yes!! Use all the good stuff! (And thanks for re-reminding me to do the same!) ❤️❤️❤️

Oooooh! I’d love to see the end result if you do it! ☺️
I’m inspired! I have lots of “little tiny canvases” in my stash and I’m going to break them out! Thanks!👍😁❤️
Wonderful! Got for it! ❤️❤️❤️

Hooray for tiny art! ❤️❤️❤️

Yes! Might as well use them up and make tiny art! ❤️

I finished sorting my scraps and I do have a problem with letting go 😂 thank you love your video ❤
You get extra credit for sorting your scraps - all sorts of treasures in there! 😆❤️🥰
Love these! I recently made a set of 9 small minis and it really was so fun.
That is awesome - super fun, right?? ❤️
Love these minis! What brand is your Celadon green paint please? Thanks
Golden 🤗
Hi Jackie, could you explain about your tray you have your paint on and why. Thank you 😊
Hi! Yes, it's wet paper towels and a sheet of baking parchment on top. I put my paints on the parchment and it prevents them from drying out too fast ❤️
Laughing. You said it was a heart, and I was thinking flamingo … and then you said 🦩 too 😂
😆😆😆 Great minds think alike, right? ❤️
Now I can’t unsee the flamingo❣️❣️🩷🩷🩷🩷

I bet they stopped throwing things on the friggin roof!!
I think they got the message! 😂 Thanks for the laugh, Annie! 🎉
