On my avocado tree something is eating the bark and after the bark is eaten the branch brakes off! The branch that r braking are thick, you really need someone very strong to brake off the branch, that's how thick the branch is! Could you help me out please? Do you know what the problem is. There is no sign of any mould, bugs, or none of that white powdery stuff. It's like someone has shaved part of the branch, with a sharp knife.
Please let me know if you know what it is, thank you?

All my young avocado plants (over 50 of them) have many tiny stab wounds with watery exodus and then the white powder. The inside of the stem is reddish brown to color like molasses. There was no sign of eggs, larvae, feces, and cocoons inside the stem. If the area dies out, it turned black along with the woody part and break off. Can this be the work of beetles plus fungus and how do you treat the problem?

Laughing Man not enough water tree is extremely dehydrated it will end up dying from what has been said so why not water it and water it some more and see if it helps if it does there’s your answer if it dies still which I believe it won’t but that will depend on how bad it has gotten and the size. Cheers

Bark taken from vegetation with white spots was tested for aluminum, barium, strontium and titanium and the testing came out positive for all four substances. On an initial test (see below), Aluminum was highest (387 mg/kg), and on another one was 435 mg/kg.
    Results of Bark sample taken in September 2009: Aluminum 387 mg/kg, Barium 18.4 mg/kg, Strontium 113 mg/kg, Titanium 15.2 mg/kg. See more info www.aboutthesky.com/tree-decline

Hi Chris. You seem to have a great expertise with plant health in edible gardens. A lot of people worldwide are noticing that vegetation is behaving strangely lately, with lots of organic crop failures. There may be various factors involved, and the fact that metals such as aluminium is now found in plants may not be the only thing, but it probably does not help. No need to insult anyone, even if you disagree. Peace. PS: What do you think of these videos ua-cam.com/video/BsiFhkxON_0/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/A0X3BaifKO4/v-deo.html

I will also add that this problem on avocado trees is widely understood and the properties of the powder are not anything associated with the claims by the person making the below posts, however correct or incorrect about the issues he is talking about

Thank you kindly Chris . Yes, I can see how the issues you raise are serious problems. I used to be a big fan of international trade... until I started to look at the problems that come with it. With avocados like with fish, or human health there is likely more than one issue at stake. I have read than there is only 5% of the fish left in the ocean (especially the Pacific). Overfishing, plastic pollution, industries releasing heavy metals and toxins, acidification resulting for various pollution and made worst with aerosols from massive Geoengineering for the last 10-20 years, fukushima and nuclear testing/various nuclear incidents...When it comes to our gardens, plants weakened by various environmental stressors are less able to fight native or foreign pathogens and criters. Obviously, plants can be affected by lack or overabundance of water droughts, lack of sunlight or overabundance of it or of UV-B (which levels becomes more harmful with destruction of the ozone layer, made much more serious due to geoengineering). There are many new plant stressors which are not well understood by most people. This is the case with exposition to Electro-Magnetic-Frequencies and Radio Frequencies from Wifi, "Smart-Meters", Cell towers (especially 4G and upcoming 5G). When systems is stressed, especially as a result of exposition to things It has not had time to adapt to, its natural defense mechanism are weakened and these systems will be less able to deal with agents that it would have dealt with otherwise. I think this the reason why the pine and ash beetles are thriving in weak and sick forests, this is why we observe a rapid escalation of auto-immune disease with various forms of life, including humans.
