I've owned 12 Nissan Pulsar GTI-Rs. I always knew the best generation of cars would come from the 90s. They are the perfect balance of technology, and gave their drivers the best feedback of any era. I absolutely love JDM cars, they're by far the best built cars in the world.
We did....we were late teens early 20s......not in the best earning yrs to afford these cars which were brand new and costing more than a few pennies...even then I owned an S13 with the ca18det, impulse turbo and mk3 supra
You guys have dream jobs. I gotta pay my respects to you guys for doing hard work and paying super extra attention to detail when bringing these cars back to life. I’m a big JDM fan boy and seeing this car look like brand new and watching all the work that went into it almost brings a tear to the eye. You can’t put a price on perfection and you guys came pretty close. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you very much gentlemen. Your attention to detail never fails to satisfy and is right in tune with the meticulous nature of these JDM cars. More power to you.
This company really does it right when it comes to a full on vehicle restoration and detailing to bring the absolute best possible example to the new owner. AWESOME. That blue color is perfect on this car.
First off...The iconic EVO, perfect in every way. Then, watching; I say, Oh, they will do a repaint of the car, clean it up a bit, and leave it at that. WRONG..Then, they Dry ICE blast the undercarriage, and bring the gorgeous aluminum suspension bits to life. The detailing of the (again iconic) 4G63, and the way they brought it back to life...awesome. pulling out the carpet and the amount of DETAIL put into this car; wonderful. What a car !!
This is amazing. This was the car that made me get an Evo 8 when they became available here in the US. I wish I could get one of these to drive and give it a great home.
I think Mitsubishi should try to bring this model again to the market. I was a teenager when I met him in fast & furious 2, now (33) I can't just go and buy one at a mexican dealership. 🇲🇽
As a lancer evo lover, I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ 💙 you made my day!! There is hope for people to still own and drive these legendary JDM cars.
Could you please tell us what kind of product do you use to protect the chassis? Spray wax? What kind of specific spray wax to protect from corrosion? Thank You and Great job.
its "corrosion protection spray" by Wurth. They have a range of waxes and stuff but this seems more like a fine oil for metal protection. Have to try some out
This is what mitsubishi used to be,man. This car is basically brand new now. I know it's for the sales but imagine going from being one of the world's most notorious rally monsters to economy cars. I hope the owner keeps this car running for a long time as a piece of japanese automotive legend
That dry ice cleaning procedure does a phenomenal job. Much of the undercarriage parts would otherwise not come anywhere near as clean and pristine looking using any other method of cleaning.
I’m so glad I found this video. The car looks absolutely amazing. I own a JDM year 2000 Impreza STI and brand new parts are near impossible to find now so I imagine it’s similar for the Evo. One thing I was surprised about… considering the effort that has gone in here, surely it would have been worthwhile to refresh the suspension and bushes etc to ensure it handles/drives as good as it looks?
Stunning car!! But on question tho, wouldn't it be better to do the interior, dry ice cleaning and the engine refresh before the respray? wouldn't that help reduce the chances of damaging the fresh paint?
Since some of the best rally cars have past the 25 year rule, some will make it to the USA. I look forward to it. I'd rather have an early WRX, but the Evo is great, too. I do aspire to have an Evo X as a daily driver. I intend to keep it stock, maybe I will swap a few bits and pieces with other Evo variants. I love the Recaro seats sold before the Final Edition, but I love the Final Edition badges and plaques, so I might buy those plaques and emblems. I'd also buy the BBS wheels if not equipped. I'd have a set of Bilstein struts with Eibach springs if mine didn't have them. I tell people who always wanted a Nissan 300ZXTT to look at JDM auctions for a nice Fairlady Z32 TT. Soon after the American version was cancelled, and improved Fairlady went on sale. I have read that JDM auctions have made the RX7TT more affordable to American drivers. I went to an auto auction recently, and saw a few Lancia Delta rally models for sale. One guy was stunned I knew anything about it. He was many years older than me. I explained that if the Lancia Delta AWD rally car wasn't invented, The Subaru WRX and Mitsubishi Evo probably wouldn't either. He probably knew how much the gamer generation loves the WRX and Evo. I noticed some removable panels under the backseat. Were those quick access to the fuel tank and pump? Sometimes the inside of the fuel tank becomes corroded from long term storage, and it that case, it should be removed and cleaned. Also, this is a convenient time to replace the fuel pump sock to get the most life out of the fuel pump. 9:19 I didn't expect you to buy a new valve cover or exhaust heat shield. Most guys would have gotten their valve cover powercoated and the exhaust shield ceramic coated. I also wasn't expecting new brake rotors, but I guess if they aren't expensive, and you intend to go all the way, why not? 15:38 Is that an adjustable downforce wing? I never knew the street legal Evo had one. 20:19 I know this is a low mileage car, but I still expected many plastic interior parts to crack. Many years ago, Mitsubishi interiors were a problem. Even though the 3000GT/GTO cost a fortune, the dashboard would warp like mad in the sun. When I bought a 2010 Lancer, I bought a fabric dashboard cover just so it wouldn't happen to me. Mitsubishi made better interiors by then, so it turned out that I didn't need it. Oh, well, I'm still glad I thought of it and bought one. 23:31 Since the old ones came out in one piece, I'm sure someone will be happy to buy your second hand ones. 27:25 I figured the side sills would have the Mitsubishi Evo emblem on them.
This really inspire me to work on my 2006 acura rsx type s to switch all of interior into black, but kind of a rookie at all these things so I'm little bit nervous of screwing up 😅
16:13 Actually the MR732132 on package is just a Part.No of clip not the front 3-DIA-MARK. The correct No should be MR108637 which discontinued in 2021.
I wish I can ship my s15 from Australia to you guys for you to do what you did with this evo vi with it. Last year I paid 8k aud to change it from matte black to solid white and to do some fender work and I found out they only used 1 coat on it. They didn't prime it nor did they coat it afterwards, as a result some parts of the paint have started to come off now.
Being American but living in different parts of the Caribbean while growing up because of my moms job, it’s so weird so see people geek out over Japanese cars that I’d usually see all day everyday. I probably wouldn’t even look twice if I saw this or any GTR on the road. I guess I have become so desensitized.
People in the 90s didn't realize they were living in the greatest jdm generation. They could've bought 100k classics for pennies.

people are going to say the same thing about the honda Civic type r, subaru wrx sti, toyota gr corolla in the future
I know 😭 I remember seeing more than one 22b Subaru for about 65k in the late 2000s
We did....we were late teens early 20s......not in the best earning yrs to afford these cars which were brand new and costing more than a few pennies...even then I owned an S13 with the ca18det, impulse turbo and mk3 supra
Factory fresh! loving your back to factory approach on these gems!
Yeah! It looks so good after their work. I'd buy it!
This was one of my dream cars growing up. Would be so cool to have a restored one. Y’all did great work.
If you have like 100k extra to spend
@@maoinc13 who doesn’t 😂

Loved it. Watched the whole 29:16 minutes. New paint, Unmolested, New Factory Fresh parts, & OCD Details even if no one sees the hidden details 💖 🙌
You guys do such an amazing job.
Thank you very much gentlemen. Your attention to detail never fails to satisfy and is right in tune with the meticulous nature of these JDM cars. More power to you.

11:47 I felt that. Genuine stock parts are satisfying, 110%. It's a time capsule!
bro said unmolested. hell naw
You guys genuinely understand what not compromising to achieve perfection means!
I cannot aptly express how satisfying this entire video is. Perfection.
glad to see our local Hong Kong contents rise and shine!

if there's a long version of it, let's say 3 hours I would still gladly watch it XD
Even tho i prefer Evo V,i think that Evo VI is the best looking Lancer ever.

Simply outstanding!
Nice video!!! What's the brand of the preservative wax spray you use?
Love your videos! Y'all need to start recording in 4K so we can really see all those details :)
Was thinking the same. 1080P doesn’t cut it these days
I loved this car so much, a legend.
