The reason I love the Ponds so much is because even though all of 10's companions were great, the Ponds were the first time the Doctor actually had a family. One who would not leave him. And no matter what, he couldn't leave them.

Also, I feel like for the only time in the new series (I didn'y see Classic Who yet) the TARDIS feels and looks like home, during 9 and 10 time the TARDIS was only a ship, but during the ponds era it was home, Moffat did a great job showing us how the TARDIS was the home of this little and weird family.

i didn't hate them but at first i didn't really like them much either. Rose and Donna were my favorites before and so it took me a while to get used to the Ponds. however now that their gone i realized just how much they meant to the Doctor and i miss them. i have been rewatching the episodes with them in it and i find they are absolutely amazing. he has had many companions, all of whom he has cherished and cared for but the Ponds were more than companions, they were his family. Amy, Rory and River had went though so much more with the Doctor and stayed the longest. now they are my favorites, all three of them, and the Pond Era is my favorite era of Doctor Who.
I like all three of them. Amy Pond, Rory Williams, and The Doctor. The best threesome ever! I also really like The Doctor's Tardis. It's so beautiful and shiny.

I think what I love about the Ponds is that, when 10 regenerated, he became even crazier, and sillier, and lonelier than before which is why it only makes sense that his friends after the regeneration are just as crazy, if not more. Not to mention the fact, that they become his family, his actually family as in Melody Pond is his wife, and Amy/Rory are his parents-in-law/best friends. It brought a new light to the Doctor and it makes me so inexplicably happy.
I will always miss Amy an Rory. They're like the Doctor's siblings that he never had and he's the cool kid that treats them with everything they never had 8)
At the end of Journey's End, the Doctor also had a family; Sara Jane, Donna, Jack, Rose,the meta-crisis, Jackie, Martha, Mickey. He always has a family, sometime small an sometime big. We'll miss all of them, not just Amy and Rory( btw they were AMAZING companions)

What I like most about this video is that it focuses on the happy more than the sad, so this video really stands out to me from the rest because even the ending was tragic, the rest of the story was wort remembering.

I don't know why, but I guess I just can't appreciate things enough until they're gone. Amy and Rory have been gone for over a year now, but it was first when I saw the christmas episode that I realized how much they meant to the Doctor and me. They're the ponds, not just two of many companions, they stayed with him for over 100 years! Or possibly 200, I don't now (and over 10 years for the)

I honestly think, the ponds left to soon, I could see many more adventures ahead with them and the doctor, im a massive doctor who fan, so I really love the ponds, I cry every time I see they're last episode, and It means a lot to me that this video exists, a bunch of memories, a bunch of things that mean a lot to me. I listen to this video all the time, without looking at the screen, cause there is no need, I know all of these words, and the stories behind them, I love this, Thankyou so very much.
