considering the beloved seems to know things that literally only the emperor or a shard of him would know. I think he might legit actually be talking to the emperor
@@bigsadge747 I honestly think it's both. Usually it's a shard of the emperor - but sometimes Tzeench daemons take advantage of the voices to try and lure to Seer to possession, as he does describe a voice that sounds 'very much like' his beloved beckoning him to a multicolored fortress in his dreams. If the voice sounded similar to - but different from - his Beloved, it would imply that the Tzeench daemons can't replicate the voice perfectly.
there is one quote i swear i saw once that went something like "something in the form of my beloved once appeared to me on a tower of ever changing crystal beckoning me to him, then my real beloved yelled at it and it went away" so i actually think he is watched over by bigE if even Tzeentch is trying to tempt him, would explain why if he explodes he doesnt just instantly turn into a daemon host or something
I always like to imagine the voice in the psyckers head is just the TTS version of the emperor, especially when i hear: "No beloved, it is NOT a good Dog!" Whenever a hound shows up on occasion.
@@Johny40Se7en TTS is referring to the now defunct and discontinued (thanks GW) show on UA-cam "If the Emperor had a text to speech device." A fan creation that actually had a decent following in the 40k community.
That's always the question with the Seer, isn't it? Is he just insane, is he too preoccupied with the very real voices in his head to make sense of the world or is it all an act?
@@CTC41392 It probably is. He most likely is acting that he’s insane AND The God Emperor Of Mankind on his Golden Throne is in fact in contact with the seer Psyker. Or at the very least, it’s a fragment of the God Emperor’s soul.
I had a similar interaction where my psyker and someone's loose cannon vet said "You should stop thinking so much then, says my Beloved!" "You heard it here, folks! No more thinking for me, Emperor said so!" Paraphasing, but it gave me a giggle when i heard it
If that 'beloved' is an actual Emperor, than isn't this psyker a one of the kind since Emperor himself is watching over him and talking to him, even saved him couple times, even though its only a fraction of himself.
Lorewise all psykers are decendants from the emperor, he watches over all of them this is why in tts he's fucking livid that psykers are killed burned etc because psykers and space marines are his kids
The Emperor is playing Darktide itself and he loves it but he only plays the Psyker and founds the female vet yucky reminding us female space marine are never ever gonna happen.
I like to imagine that the emperor connected to him telepathically once, and accidentally broke his mind, leaving him with a voice in the head that is exactly like the emperor.
It seems psyker seer has trouble understanding sarcasm. Either that or it's a limitation of the dialogue system making him say unfitting responses (in a similar manner, on multiple occasions)
@@cayden31800 Eldar is the Gothic term for Aeldari in general. The proper term for Craftworlders in their language is Ausurani or something like that, and it's what was used on some of the more recent codexes. It's basically a same situation as Astra Militarum but everyone still calls it the Imperial Guard.
Essentially Eldar was a term invented by Tolkien to name the elves, but GW never had legal ownership of it and they lost the legal battle a few years ago, that's why they switched the naming convention.

The more I hear about him, the more I’m convinced. “I don’t know why people get so fussy over Xenos technology, My Beloved used it all the time!”
His Beloved seems to be playing a role in his resistancet to Tzeench, as even his own words heavily imply he'd have been corrupted by now otherwise.

The cutthroat interactions with ogryn are surprisingly sweet. Maybe they'll even actually trust the big lugs, just a bit.
