Muscle Car Masters was the name of the meeting. It was a meeting that was primarily there to highlight muscle cars in several categories but not restricted to muscle cars. My own BMW M3 has done very well there over the years and you can hardly call a 2300cc N/A motor a muscle car as well.
Most sexiest car ever made hands down by holden nothing comes close unfortunately I will never beable to afford one have to wait until 3d printers can make whole cars its not far away I garentee you be interesting to see what impact that has on how much muscle cars will be worth after that happens very interesting to see long live the a9x 2door
My older brother said only today how ugly & bad handling a A9X was.I had a A9X myself & knew it was a Aussie collectors dream .In 1998 all I could sell my 127,000K A9X for was $13,000.It was in mint condition except it did not have the original 308 motor no more.I had the Hotwire 10 & 8 inch rims but got a Yellow sticker & told not legal with them.Race use only.
The only thing that may be not so good about this category is these cars being rare and precious. Otherwise, it's just amazing. Watching this make me think those cars are a fair bit harder to drive quick than the new. I'm into Fords but the one time I drove a friends LX with a 350hp 308 it was a twitchy car to drive even with that power. I bet these guys are awake.
How did Holdon get power out of a shitbox 308? Car is square, dash bezels are square, looks like it was made in High School metal craft..................
Love how he winds the window up as soon as the noisy little rotary Mazda pulls up alongside him ;)
The old touring cars were the best. ❤️
Gricey always gave 100% and never gave up. Congrats on the Jim Richards trophy and keeping the A9X where it belongs.
Tony - You Da Man. Pretty much the nicest bloke out there, well one of em anyway. Congrats on the Clubman award - truly deserved.
Pro Tip: Holden V8's had 253 and 308 cast into the block. A9X 5.0l V8's had HP cast into the block.
One of my favorite cars
I love the sound of that down shift
L.O.V.E this channel , the Brock, Jones stoushes were pure gold many thanks 👍👍👍👍👍😊😉
MARK BROCK I TOTALLY AGREE I USED TO HAVE ONE BACK IN 1985
I had a SLR5000 4 SPD 308 my first car 1988 to 1991 loved it.Wish l still had it.
Oh the memories.
Any way we can get a playlist of ATCC races per season?
What kind of exhaust / muffler setup do they run? How can they sound SO good?
The original cams megaphone set up, was used right up till the end of group A 1992, in a similar system.
Pretty much a straight out exhaust mat
How did the rx7 get a spot not really muscle with a 1.3

He waved more on the warm up lap, than Charlie at His Coronation.

Back when it was about the driver not the car

One lumpy cam! sounds like someone smoking a craven mild.....Needs some Nulon G60 in the gearbox...
Whoa
And that cam is totally streetable LOL....just goes to show that a pig cam goes great with a full head of steam LOL
Sounds awesome wish my torrie was half as angry as his motor
Tony builds his own engines and as you can see he does a pretty decent job at it.
That 2nd gear sounds like it's falling apart......
Jesus, driving it like a Cnt..
The GTR Xu1 sounded better!
Group A sucks. Group C rules.

Those so called Shitbox 308 beat the American and Japanese cars for nearly two decades. fukwit!!.
So where is the engine that you designed? and how many times did it win Bathurst?.... Muppet!
