Tell me there was no glory in war. Oh there was blood and death and screaming and suffering, long marches, starvation and disease, and all the other horrors. But tell me honestly that in the right circumstances, in certain moments, with the roar of the guns and the cheers of your comrades and the sight of your flags flapping in the breeze, the balls zipping through the air and your blood thundering in your ears, your heart beating like a freight train, and tell me you wouldn't feel the swell of glory rising in your chest.
The problem with a sequel would be they would most likely use the current engine which is awful for ranged combat. From units not refusing to fire even if they have line of sight to projectiles with limp sounds and looking like they have being thrown underarm.
It's strange that infantry will shoot at hills as artillery seems to be able to target different units when hills are in the way. Also Napoleonic war stories with Apollo as a spin off series?
Wellington's troops formed around 20 big cavalry squares at Waterloo, I am absolutely SURE that there were a lot of friendly fire casualties (actually on both sides) when Ney's Cavalry attacked!!!
Once firearms and artillery are a factor, defense is king, especially in the case of weaker/more inexperienced commanders. Even a poor player can do well if the other side is mindlessly rushing their units into enemy fire. I think that's why many players are too defensive in N:TW.

I kinda understand what the french player was doing he was keeping back his troops but exhausting his artillery to soften up ur army without killing his own troops
They could've won if the French set up some defenses on the Spanish and Britsh sides, then charged you with The Old Guard with two Fussiliers and a cav unit. Them using a similar tactics they used near the end

execution of the Swedish general was amazing, omg

Feel like Prussia should have just canister shot that 4 unit cav charge even if killed their own.
The last charge was hilarious 😂😂😂
16:30 charge British cav into the backs of the British Foot. Racks up more friendly kills than Swiss.

France did well, his team mates just let him down by not getting as many kills.

Apollo, why don’t you max spread your line units to maximize musket fire? Inflicts more damage
It would be cool to see a 2v2 1 person from each team play as the the country's army and 1 person from each team control the militia

Should do a best out of three. A 4v4 or 3v3 either or. Not a tourney. Just a video like this.
19:00 Prussia should have put his line right on the other side of the river for easy shots on the cav and bridge crossing.
I like the battlefield choose. Town and a real river. Choke points. You guys needed to use combined arms.
