He is finally as of just a few days ago up for a chance at the rock and roll Hall of Fame. IF ZEVON IS NOT PUT IN THE HALL OF FAME IT IS NOT A HALL OF FAME!
I have been a "die-hard" Warren Zevon fan for over thirty (30) years. I thought I'd heard ALL of his songs a hundred times. This is a new WZ song to me!🤗 It's like a gift from beyond the grave! I just said a "Thankyou" prayer to God, and thank you to the poster. You made my day!
I think I skimmed it a bit to learn Warren carried A 1.75L of vodka with him at all times and I was like, "Whoa!" I hope to get the audiobook. It seems like a good one to listen to while I am enjoying A tropical drink poolside this Summer. Rock on! 😎
The riff on Charlie’s Medicine just haunts me. It’s really an incredible piece of music. The lyrics remind me of a Michael Connelly novel. One of my favorite Warren Zevon songs. Kind of nice to get all three songs in one package.
JESUS JUMPIN' CHRIST! THIS MAN RIPS MY SOUL APART!! ALWAYS *HAS* ALWAYS *WILL* NOBODY TORE IT UP LIKE ZEVON & CO SERIOUSLY?! A GODDAM CATFOOD AD IN THE MIDDLE OF A ZEVON SONG?! SACRILEGE IN MY BOOK!!
Carl Davis Original post in whole concert 6 years ago Warren Zevon - vocals, guitars, piano; Randy Brown - guitar, vocals; Joe Daniels - drums; Larry Larson - bass; John Wood - lead guitar, vocals
I saw WZ on this tour a little later. It was my first WZ show, and he always brought it, whether with a band or solo. The only other time I remember him playing Charlie's Medicine, on a solo tour, after finishing the previous song, he said, "and speaking of hell" and rolled right into this song. One of his best
Whoever runs this account should fix the following here, and on the full concert: This clip is actually three songs: 0:00 Charlie's Medicine 4:37 Jungle Work 8:16 Play It All Night Long
Karen Hughes don’t u get the sticky icky champagne of buds mods suck have not smoking proper weed is cheap n lots of sticks ?? Gorilla glue or orange alien dawg bud oh my so high
The full 1 October 1982 concert can be found on youtube, and the credits list these people as the band members: Rhythm Guitar, Randy Brown; Drums, Joe Daniels; Bass Guitar, Larry Larson; Lead and Slide Guitar, John Wood. Strange seeing him without Waddy.

why do people think the RRHOF is so great? The RRHOF sucks
Should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame
No, the rnrhof should be burned to the ground
They're let too many Brittany Spears type acts...not worth sitting his ashes and bones near..
rock and roll hall of fame is too lame for Warren, they just dont deserve him
True this band is tight as fuck. Great
Why isn't he? All about money no doubt

Another Long Time fan here ("SentimentalHygiene"), only heard "Charlie's Medicine" a few years ago, one of his Greatest stories.

For all the people who dislike you are the worst I love all of his songs dearly they are the best
Autumn June.........I've been obsessing over Warren for 2-3 months now and I haven't yet heard a bad song ( he's brilliant!😉)
Zevon was the best, great songs, full of energy, sure miss him.
The rock and roll hall of fame doesn’t deserve him.
if this isn't the best, we are not high enough
Where's Charlie when you need him? ;)
He's around the corner. This is Florida
Haha... we just got good herb here in Ontario ;)
+Emmett Sherlock Here too. That other just gets in the way of a good time

Warren Zevon is in my personal Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I’m so envious! This show was amazing just watching it on a screen, I can’t imagine how great to actually be there.
Badass musician. Saw him numberous times from Cali to the east coast.
Totally enjoyable music. Great quality. Good fun.
Wow. Beautiful. So sad... those guys are tight AF...

I found.my thrill on Warren Zevon hill
excallent! powerful stuff
Rip , beautiful, blessed be
Love the 12 string.
Too each his own, I hate ovation guitars, to me they look, feel, and sound cheap. Like they are made of pulp wood, glue, and granola
Wow-känsla
We Parachute in, we parachute out
love love it- best quality vid evah- sorry too muchwwine. Warren in Armani trousers. Tooooo much for me. woo. /still not high 'nough lordy.

I am a guitar and piano player. The chord progression of this tune sounds very much like "Splendid Isolation" off of WZ's "Transverse City" album. 😊
Great.

Lead guitar player is nasty
...poor kid
Who's the great lead guitar player?
John Would
His name used to be John Wood but he changed it
He is also a great producer/audio engineer with lots of credits!
1:40 smells like Charlie's spirit
I really wish that “Charlie's Medicine”, “Jungle Work”, and “Play it All Night Long” weren’t all in this one video
why
Why not? Isn't it a fun package?
@@sh230968 I actually really do like it but at the same time it can be kind of annoying when I only want to listen to one of these songs
