But Ralph stated he hadn't even seen Shue since 1986 ... so it really is a reunion in real life .
Absolutely loved this season and this reunion. I enjoyed how the character of Johnny developed. He turned from a one dimensional bully in the original to a funny yet awkward everyday guy in Cobra Kai. Great show!
Man, I guess Ralph Macchio finally realized that he’ll never be seen as anyone other than Daniel LaRusso. So he just went ahead and embraced it. Which is kinda sad, cause the dude really can act. But once you’re typecast in “Hollyweird” it’s pretty much game over.
Yeah you’re right… but You got to admit that we all can never imagine anyone else playing the iconic role. He owned the role.., even now he just got better with it. Ali i believe never got over the break up with Daniel, watching this episode she was very happy to see Johnny and basically call it a truce. Daniel on the other hand while she was content to see him, if you watch closely she still looks at him like she has feelings or was devastated by the breakup
I'm actually surprised Ali didn't talk about Daniel owning a dealership, you would think she would have saw the billboards and took notice of that a minute into them meeting each other or maybe he told her about it.
Is the opening "don't skim on that sauce" a reference to Daniel having gotten tomato sauce on him after he gets busted spying on Ali and Johnny in KK? If so, that's brilliant
I know it's been awhile since I seen the original Karate Kid, but after watching some clips with Daniel and Ali I kind of wish that she and him get a good closure as well like she did with Johnny. I know that Daniel is happily married but I don't know I just think that there should be a good moment between Daniel and Ali after what they been through in the original Karate Kid.
Well I feel they already covered that with Kumiko earlier in the season, who no offense I prefer infinitely over Ali. The scene when Daniel and Kumiko are about to rekindle their love, almost touching hands, amazing moment and it shows there is still a powerful spark there.

He didn't ditch Carmen because Amanda narced him out. He was all set to kiss her when her mom called
Si después se arrepentiría. Si perdía a Carmen porque en verdad la ama Ali era la nostalgia q quería tener
I couldn’t help smiling through this whole thing, quite the nostalgia
Scarface! Lol, good one Daniel! 😝😜😛
I love the banter between these 2. Well.. This is the result when superfans turn their favourite Movie Franchise into a Series. Fan Service wherever you look :)
Elizabeth still radiant and turns heads after all these years.
I was 6 when I saw Karate Kid back in 1984.. I fell in love with Elizabeth Shue then and I’m still in love with her now. She still looks great!!
Is it me or do the three of them still look great for their age? I’d still nail Elisabeth Shue because A. She’s still hot B. She was every 80’s kid crush.
She is 57 years old ,but she takes good care of herself.
@@thesmartbudgetchannel2940 It really does matter. I think men and women give up taking care of themselves and let themselves go. most men and women over 55 don’t look good as them.
Wasnt alive in the 80s, would still smash.
Indeed!!
No. Toni Basil is every 80s boy's crush.
I saw the karate kid when I myself was a kid too. The thing that strikes my is how they/we have matured. They/we are not kids anymore and for me, old rivalries are equally as tiring. It's time to pass on good lessons to our kids. As for we the "old people," lets grab a beer and have some laughs cause life is just too short to waste it on angry of a bygone era. :-)
I am sure this was fun for her to do this reunion ! Billy Z. has worked with Ralph since the original on parodies , and believe he was actually present on the set of Karate kid 3 , even though he wasn't in it .
Great show!
The moment the kitchen had spaghetti in the scene, I already knew where this was going to go.
Perhaps in the life of an artist comes a role that will be iconic and perfectly created for you. The good thing there is that he aged with the role gracefully. Really loved the guy… then and now.
@@menchielota8304 aged gracefully? Daniel still living like a young boy in the face he might have filled out to a man's body that's slender but honey he looked younger than everybody! Even look younger than Elizabeth Shue!😵
The banter is hilarious between Johnny and Daniel. They didn't realise they were very much alike and it's great there good friends on the show now the way it should be.
Anthony star is going to be pissed, don't steal his milk.
"You should talk there...Scarface."
Glad Ali met Amanda to know that Daniel is married
Amanda’s a bitch..she went to Kreese’s Dojo after hours and slapped him, tried to shut down his dojo and think she can get away with it...then played innocent in front of Daniel. She will pay soon enough...
@@Final_Fantasy_7 Ooook.
@@Final_Fantasy_7 I mean they did break into her house
@@Final_Fantasy_7 Yes, but she did fess up at the same time. She tried diplomacy and it failed.
Amanda is the mother of the pride. She did what she thought was right for her family.
@@Final_Fantasy_7 only because her brat daughter bent the truth about her little run in with the Cobras. If Sam actually told the truth maybe Amanda wouldn't of been pissed off enough to slap Kreese. Amanda is fine. It's Sam that needs to be held accountable for her actions.
When I see these two this song play’s in my head
Your heart beat fast
I'm glad to see Ali made a comeback because I was always disappointed that she didn't appear in the movie sequels...
Best programme on Netflix by a country mile
Kept thinking it was a Vought International business event and for a moment there at 1:20 I thought Homelander was going to appear! 😂
THATS WHERE SHE WAS FROM. THE ENTIRE SEASON I COULDN'T REMEMBER
Daniel, Ali, and Johnnie, that gang is back! CK Season 3 is going to be EPIC!
She looks amazing for her age damn
Agree!
If only Star Wars would have had this much sense to have Luke, Lea and Han in a seen together in The Last Jedi.
Just gotta attend a Christmas party before feeding Homelander
You're the real hero
Homelander would hate this more than Johnny does
Ali needs to be a beacon and example for all women.
A woman scorned is a foolish woman, a woman that can forgive and teach a man his blind spots without spite is a wise woman.
Everything about this show is everything America needs right now. Beautiful.
If Daniel minded his own business none of this would have ever happened
Ali i believe never got over the break up with Daniel, watching this episode she was very happy to see Johnny and basically call it a truce. Daniel on the other hand while she was content to see him, if you watch closely she still looks at him like she has feelings or was devastated by the breakup
Daniel Alva Love xx love You 😉😗🙂 love you and miss the Love you are 💘
Gosh darn, I can’t even see Elizabeth Shu anymore as Allie. She was so good in leaving Las Vegas that’s all I see her as now...
I'm really happy that the same members gathered. Thanks to the performers and staff.
Billy, Becca, and Homelander are somewhere at that party too.
Ali is still fine lol
yup 57 and still got it
Honestly, Daniel and Johnny bounce off each other so well, you know they'd lie for the other in court.
Wouldn't u think Ali be nervous introducing johnny to daniel thinking what if they still hated each other?
Ali probably thought they would be grown up enough to get over the past.
they're all in their 50's lol Ali would have thought that they both moved on from it by now
Ali had no idea they were still out each other p
Ralph Maccio was really a famous actor. He has just dissapeared after karate kid
I'm actually surprised Ali didn't talk about Daniel owning a dealership, you would think she would have saw the billboards and took notice of that a minute into them meeting each other or maybe he told her about it.
One of my biggest child hood crushes back in the day
Is the opening "don't skim on that sauce" a reference to Daniel having gotten tomato sauce on him after he gets busted spying on Ali and Johnny in KK? If so, that's brilliant
I love how they brought back the OG actors instead of replacing them
I know it's been awhile since I seen the original Karate Kid, but after watching some clips with Daniel and Ali I kind of wish that she and him get a good closure as well like she did with Johnny. I know that Daniel is happily married but I don't know I just think that there should be a good moment between Daniel and Ali after what they been through in the original Karate Kid.
She has a beautiful smile
Someone upload Daniel and Ali's goodbye.
Anthony Starr remarked on what a great actress Elizabeth Shue is
All i got to say why didn't William Zabaka get more acting opportunity the man is hilarious
Lots of typecasting which he didn’t like
@@stuvvi yeah fr
@@stuvvi yeah i rember they even made a joke about it on how i met your mother. william would get harassed cuz he always played the blonde douche lol
Homelander won't be happy lol
I was hoping for a more emotional scene with Ali and daniel and those flashbacks from there past with the emotional music would have been classic ...
Same here. They were after all the iconic couple from Karate Kid, she was Daniel's first love...
Well I feel they already covered that with Kumiko earlier in the season, who no offense I prefer infinitely over Ali. The scene when Daniel and Kumiko are about to rekindle their love, almost touching hands, amazing moment and it shows there is still a powerful spark there.
@@ClayMationNation
Yp nice way of putting it into perspective
I think the writers wanted to make flashbacks with Allie and Johnny instead since Daniel got the flash backs with Kumiko
Ali and Kumiko are babes!!
