great video (as all the others)!! Beginning of this year, I was commuting to work with similar weather (freezing cold, but dry) which I thought shouldn't be a problem. I however hit a small part of ice (underneath a bridge) and made a slider with my BMW 1200 GSA with the result of a huge cost to repair it. Luckily the bike was and is well insured. Meanwhile my GSA is still under repair and in the mantime I decided to get myself also the K1600 GTL, which I also recognized in one of your UA-cam films. I absolutely love your content!! Motorcycles, travelling and last but not least food!! Keep up the good work, it's always a joy to watch your videos. Not only inspirational, but also very informative. thank you and ride safe!! Greetings from Belgium.
Hi Kim, Sorry to hear about your slide! Glad the insurance covered it but still not a nice experience. Congratulations on the K1600! We don't own one but we had lots of fun borrowing it, what a machine that it!! Thank you ever so much for your kind words of encouragement! It really means a lot to us when people take the time to leave a comment. We are looking forwards to sharing more tours this year and cant wait for the season to start. All the best and we hope to hear from you again soon. 😎👍
Thanks! The old R1200 can still keep up with the best of them =) ...but the power difference on the R1250 is incredible. Glad to have you along with us and we hope you enjoy our latest adventure. Cheers Sean and Emily
I just came from your North Europe tour and watch now this. To watch your travel tips and experience. I'm planning my road trip to Switzerland for this year 2024.
Hi, of all the places we have travelled to Switzerland always blows us away with the scenery and everything is in an easily accessible location so you will have an awesome time in Switzerland. Perhaps you've seen this playlist already but the start and finish are in Switzerland too (locations are in the descriptions) ua-cam.com/play/PLl_mRzVHVQ0xN6hpboQjhpn9x4nhoGLkx.html&si=LQhxvqq6Hv13vA6T
Stunning scenery and as always, beautifully filmed and edited. The one bike I really regret selling, was my 30 year anniversary GSA. So much more character than my 1250 GSA. 👍
Hi Mark, thanks very much for your feedback -it's really appreciated! Yeah this is a very special bike to us and we've had lots of reminders never to part with it 🙂. The R 1250 GSA is a fantastic machine too -it was faultless on the heading East Tour.
You're very welcome! There's a few more on there with our favorite routes through Switzerland and if there's anything we can help you with just let us know in the comments =) Also here is a partner of ours that we use a lot ourselves to save on the Cost of Hotels in Switzerland and surrounding countries . hotelcard.com/en/seanandemily-travels
In Switzerland there are no toll roads, if you want to use the motorway it’s chf40 per year. All the mountain passes are free of charge and are spectacular 😎
Autumn in the Alps!!? Quite daring, I'd say. High risk of snow. I trust you checked the weather forecasts before heading out? Still, the mountains in your video are completely absent of snow. Looks quite dry. Well, one nice thing about a late season trip...no traffic! Wonderful trip and video.
Yeah usually they are closed by then -however the last couple of weeks of Autumn this year were unusually hot with no chance of snow or low temperatures - also the webcams are great for double checking conditions. It really was great having the passes all to ourselves! Cheers mate 😎👍🏻
V from Zürich, from a fellow BMW rider Central Switzerland is awesome and the riding season lasts forever this year. Susten has a really nice road with broad curves, Grimsel and Furka have the best views. Gottardo is boring IMHO, but Bernardino is a super nice climb, with lots of very tight hairpin curves. Should you want to do it again next year in group, feel free to hit me :-)
Hi Florent and thanks for subscribing. Yes this year we have had a very long season and it's been so very mild. The Susten is a fantastic road too -it's difficult to choose a favorite. We road the Bernardino this year with the R18 which was actually a lot of fun for such a big bike. Yeah maybe we can do a ride out next year-would be cool! 😎 (perhaps Instagram is easier for messages seanmichael_travels) ua-cam.com/video/JoDN8nip9nk/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/T-eAW4oZKiA/v-deo.html
Hi Ronnie, the R 1250 GSA from the Heading East Tour was loaned to us for the trip. The R 1200 GSA is our personal bike that has been with us for the last 8 years.
Hi i will leave a link below. It's actually a Hostel/holiday home but it was really nice and there are private rooms. We usially just book what the best offer is on the day on Hotel .com. Glad you enjoy the videos =) ufemegg.ch/

Wonderful video !!
I ride my R1200GS Adventure. Riding on such beautiful roads in Europe like this with my wife on the tandem seat is my dream.
Hi Andy, thanks ever so much! We love our R1200GS and we savour every minute of these roads and moments together 😊, we hope your dreams come true!
Between 12.30 -15.00 I was ”airdrumming” 🥁while seeing this v-log , the music was so good 😂
Haha great to hear it had the desired effect! =)
Excellent cornering skills. Perfect roadtrip information. Excited to follow your adventures to discover interesting places for my own roadtrips. Thx!
Thanks! The old R1200 can still keep up with the best of them =) ...but the power difference on the R1250 is incredible.
Glad to have you along with us and we hope you enjoy our latest adventure.

Good clutch control Sean !!
Cheers mate! Love taking the Air cooled GS out.
looks awesome!
It was! Thanks Jason!
Just incredible looking roads and views. Absolutely stunning. Are there any road tolls for these roads?

Did you change your bike from the 1250?
Hi Ronnie, the R 1250 GSA from the Heading East Tour was loaned to us for the trip. The R 1200 GSA is our personal bike that has been with us for the last 8 years.
What is the name of the hotel in Innertkirchen? We use your infos for or own holidays :) thanks a lot for your videos.
