Im a 50yr old 10 handicap & play this ball (yellow) almost exclusively. I have never met a forgiving golf ball. I have also never met a "worth my money" $50/doz golf ball. These balls give that good old "drop ~n~stop" action..
Titleist should call this thing, "The Spinner!" Lots of green side spin on this ball. It's easy to back it up with a wedge, if the need arises. It feels great off the mid and long irons. Like you said, it does the drop and stop thing with a 7 iron real nicely. Feels good off the driver too. I like the TruFeel, it just works for me. They're (relatively) cheap too. Winner!
I have just picked up some of these balls and will try them. When i say picked up, i mean played right after a sponsored scramble wrapped up and found these balls everywhere on the course stamped with the company name. I lost 2 of my balls but picked up 15. So.... plus 13.
I started playing this ball after seeing another channel hit about 100 shots i think against pro v1 using GC quad and he got pretty consistent spin numbers. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the 2024 version test :)
I have had success trying to lose this ball and not being able to. Looks old school to me. At least doesn't have the side spinningness that the Tour soft does. Those are much easier to lose. This ball is for people who don't want to spend more for a Kirkland ball. Update: I played another true feel ball and it was better than I remembered. Maybe they have a newer version out this year?
I was curious if you have ever hit the Callaway Supersoft Max? It is a two piece but just a bit bigger than normal balls but still within the rules. I can’t find any in my local shops but could probably order online. As a high handicap I am consider trying it to help me out. What is your opinion?
Yes I have had a chance to hit the super soft max. One thing that will definitely determine the effectiveness of that ball is what type of clubs you're using and your swing speed. I'm assuming you're using a more cavity back game improvement iron, which that ball really shines on. It tends to get a little more ball speed for slower swingers and also gets more roll on drives. So there's a good chance it would work very well for you. My mother absolutely swears by the Callaway Reva ball, which is the same thing but in the women's version. She gained distance of the tee and saw improvements around the green.
I would love to retest this golf ball with my new set up.
Is this ball in the list to retest with your new setup? Or maybe a test of the new 2024 model?
@@jhooton75good question, did he ever re-test?
@@jubalfeazell8128 no, he hasn’t yet.

Big fan of these. I can't wait to retest them soon.

I really enjoy the trufeel.
It's a pretty good golf ball. Loved how it performed.

Now that's the best way to test a golf ball 😂

I'm looking forward to the updated review as well. One of the few titles golf balls I really enjoy
Informative review. Been considering this ball given the price point. Thanks!
Thank you so much. There will be an updated review soon since it's been a few years, so look out for that one soon!

I play Mizuno blades so having a nice soft ball to pair with my buttery soft blades is optimal.
That's awesome. Golf balls are like wine, gotta pair them with the right entree 🧐
Love the trufeel.
So I usually play the hammer control and the Titleist tru feel so last two videos were great. What one did you like better?
Titleist trufeel is by far the better ball.
be nice to know how the new 2024 trufeel compares to this now they've gone back to a thicker cover
Tru Feel is one of my favorite titleist balls. I cannot wait to test the new version.

Does the mat finish reduce spin?
It does. However the loss is minimal. Maybe a 100 to 200 rpm loss.
GOOD BALL for senior golfers
I would absolutely agree with you.
Can you review this again and put it against the wilson zip
Sure that shouldn't be a problem
Nice green
