- Learn how to develop good aim, recoil control, & overall goodness in life with Muscle Memory. This video goes over what is muscle memory, how to develop muscle memory, and how to apply that to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The bad grammar previously is to improve SEO, leave me alone.

Can we have a WarOwl plays violin video pleaseee?
he already played it look at the very end
lol didn't notice that.. but I would actually love to see him play. I also play the violin (I'm studying it) and I would love to hear him.
I really was hoping he would play his outro
I would really like to know if he does play the violin, Cause I see that his bow is literally stretched to the extreme... It's literally straight and that's a no no... :)
Mathew Sibonga it was a joke. pretty clearly.
I stitch 16gb of ddr4 ram sticks on my arm to get more muscle memory
nice 1 😄
SSDs would be better, long term, unless you want to relearn every time you reset your PC
@@harstar12345 ssd is a solid state drive, basically a big sd card, ram is random access memory, which doesnt store data
solid
many typos had to edit
I have a muscle memory to reload every time a firefight ends for longer than 5 seconds. Got me killed so many times when another enemy pops out during reloading animation._
start to work on presing q quickly two times to cancel the animation
Still gonna be dead. Better to learn to play with low ammo and reload when you're sure(er(er)) that you are safe.
And by that I mean around 10-15 bullets on AK (for example). Less than 10 and you're gonna have an exciting ride.
Cool story bro!
I had the same issue. All thanks to CoD.
The Vsauce of Cs:Go? I think so.
Hey, Vsource! Phillip here!
Brent here!
No. Vsauce always gets to something deep in the end of his videos.
phillip
Kinda
new map, new case, new stuff! Will begin working on new videos for those new things, exciting!
TheWarOwl XD
TheWarOwl i luv ur vids m8 ure da best
do a new unboxafragaton
make a new SoloQ vid or road to global
TheWarOwl I thought that you didn't care anymore about cases
You are all wrong! Everybody knows skins equals skill!
Ruben Vreeken exactly.
I sold my P90 Asiimov & now I have no skill.
I can't believe people don't see this simple fact. I mean almost every single pro CS awper has a Dragon Lore. Coincidence? I think not.
My awp Asimov got scammed and I have no skill now with the elite build
I bet all of my skins worth $100+ and lose, after that experience my skill improves.
I got my karambit knife fade and I just knife more than usual.
How to get out of silver.
Step 1: lower your sensitivity.
Step 2: Never play on dust 2 unless you're queued up with a team
Poon Master sensitive of 8 and 800 DPI still managed to soloQ to Mg1 xD
whats wrong with dust 2?
hackers and smurfs
this is where you are fals...you can play with high dpi if you chance your gamplay to your style
The title is very undervalued. It should be something more along the lines of "How to Train yourself to be a better player" or something. I got more out of this video than I expected.
_call of duty player detected_
cs:go is more than having good aim, you also need good gamesense, nades, and many other things
actually you don't really need good aim for call of duty but whatever
its like the opposite to click bait
Lol 69 likes
so did i
generalh 104 didn’t ask. Sometimes aim alone can help you in a battle
There is good practice and there is bad practice. Bad practice happens when one becomes impatient and losses discipline, falling into the path of least resistance over true mastery.

Every action begins with an idea. (fart sound)
- Owli Wan-deeg Kenobi
I read this right as he said it in the video
Just don't talk to them
Why even you wanna talk
Just pass info
Lol
Yea right.

Something also worth noting is that the brain won't learn as well if you don't get enough sleep. Real life isn't like TES:Oblivion where you can level up many times and then sleep once and get all your levels. If you don't get good sleep, your experience points are lost. You have to sleep regularly and sleep enough to get good.
Goes for any mental practice. Not just counterstrike.
I read this like half a year ago and it changed my life for good. just here to say thanks
@@knuddlerinokripperino5308 thanks yo,now i can say to this to mom everytime she tries to wake me up in the morning to study
@@rahuldutta9303 try saying it to yourself every time you dont go to sleep when your mom tells you to :)
Thats totaly right, as a pianist i experience learning new task involving muscular memory, visual reading and information processing quite often. Sometimes i'll play a new part for 1h not getting any result then go to sleep and the very next day i would nail it. The most efficient way i found is to break work into small parts that you would practice for a short amount of time ~10min and going back ans fourth into the differents parts.
In csgo that would mean spending 10 min on nades, then 10min on only headshot, then maybe 10min of straffing. It is also important to change the order of the practice sessions to train better.
I've developed a very complex skill. I died SO many times, now I just have a kill bind!
I'm a semi-professional magician and my childhood was basically spent practicing tricks, playing guitar and playing video games. You'd think I'd be used to the whole practice for muscle memory thing but honestly I still find it very difficult to develop it.
SerDrinksAlot/Acana Garrow lool
I guess it has to become your routine, if every single day you do an hour or two of this You're gonna get used to it
I vote for a vid with entire music composition done by warowls violin.
He's got an AI capable of composing music in that thing?! No wonder it's an expensive instrument.
bro, you cant just bring out the violin, show it off... then NOT PLAY ANYTHING. The musician in me is hurting.
Damian Wilder he did play it though
Braden T poorly . LOL
at 1st I thought he is going to play his outro. Im disapointed :(
he did
you need more patience.
8:44 " I have no idea where they're gonna be" and the arrow right below 'Be' points to the enemy. XD

Warowl you didn't tighten your violin bow correctly....
yeah, it looked a little too tight.
It takes repetition.

i have watched all of war owl's videos for a very long time now, but this video alone related most to me and helped me the most, THANKS WAR OWL!!
thx WarOwl, i've been hoping for something like this for a while. I've been practicing about a week and see significant improvement. You da man!
me: "holy shit, war owl plays violin just like me?? hes so much cooler now!"
*watches very end*
me: "... well, hes still good at CS atleast"
ua-cam.com/video/K2BMj-SsN18/v-deo.html
TheWarOwl your tips lead me to Superm Master First Class, thank you!
Thanks for this video, it prompted me to focus on buttery-smooth movement and accuracy first, and speed second. Surprisingly my speed went up immediately, I hadn't realised that in my pursuit of speed I was taking more time on micro-corrections around the target then I was saving on the flick
This is by far my favorite video. Full of knowledge and information, not just for gaming but for life as well. Thx WarOwl! :)
THIS is the WarOwl we love! Fun, informative and... fun, informative and... fun, informative and... fun, informative and... fun, informative and... fun, informative and...
Finally got my 10 win and my rank is gold nova, didn't touch the silver rank
Killer Tank respect bro
Killer Tank you will derank I curse you
Yeah i didn't get out of silver and i pwn MGE's and have 800hrs played.
Shreyas Gupta lol
Sušenka XDDD i just have 50 hours
the passion you're putting on what you do is inspiring, you really inspire me good sir
Some UA-camrs don't need to ask for people to subscribe. TheWarOwl is one of them. Subscribed. And Thank you.
Do more of these pls !! :D
Warowl what are you going to eat for dinner tonight?
Sample Text oh yeah! thats cool
pan fried flounder with fried brussel sprouts with a side of sweet potato cooked in honey and cinnamon.
TheWarOwl Nice!
a man of class
Sounds delicious
Thanks a lot Warowl .. my aim got better after watching and then suggested to my friends after trying by me & even they got better . Great video...
Man you're awesome. Im global elite player , and i still watch all ur videos to train and get better at the game . Thanks much mate . Keep it going. :)
2:47 But muh feelings.
Hard work will prevail bro...... Hard work will prevail.
Rohan Jarande unless you start comparing yourself to other people, because there will always be people who put same time and hard work, but they ALSO have a natural talent
Pessimists not allowed!!!!!!!
I have unfortunately have devolved a bad habit from bad practice. When I was first starting out in CS, I would get so nervous about killing my enemies quickly that I would just full out spray at them the first second I got, because I started out at silver 2, it was a valid strategy at the time. Now that time has passed, I've made my all the way up to DMG and I'm still struggling to prevent myself from just spraying. I'll just forget about the first shot and let my bullets just bounce up to their heads. I've gotten pretty good at predicting where my bullets will go but its not reliable. Can't tell you how many times I looked like a complete noob because I would mess up an easy spray. Take it from me kids, practice right if you ever want to reach global.
legit one of my fav vid ever on youtube...well done sir.
This video was honestly one of your best in my opinion 👌🏻
BUT WAR!!!!!! V ideo game sare for fun, i dont want to have ot pu tin time and effor tand learn skills and be patient I just want o PWN NOOBSS
Your space bar accuracy could use some practice.
Finn Robertson watch the video before making yourself look like an idiot
William Smisher Yeah, I didn't watch the whole video, but I don't think it made me look like an idiot, lol. I just made a joke because HE said he didn't want to practice and I said he should practice his SPACE BAR accuracy before his SHOOTING accuracy. But I guess that makes me an idiot.
You sir are the reason why the world is a terrible place, making assumptions. YOU FOOL!
Robdog14 Haha ;)
WAROWL
PLEASE PLAY THE WAROWL THEME ON THE VOILIN
IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW,THEN LEARN IT
I DONT KNOW
I WANT IT
This is applicable for any skill really - physical especially. Very good video about something that people always talk about in other fields (like music) but rarely in CS
I loved this video. I am really glad that there is someone producing cs related content that is fun and smart. This video goes a bit deeper, it talks about learning as a hole.. I liked that.
Hey WarOwl, you mentioned that you spent 2 months working on your aim in CS:GO, could you go into more detail about that, like your schedule, what all you actually did, and any other tips you might have? I've been playing CS for a while now and I"d really like to learn and get better.
Hi guys. I am silver elite but in competitive matches i always seem to get pulled down by 1 or 2 teammates. I am not like those whining brats talking about how good they are. I wanna know how to support and help those 2 teammates without you knowing them for very long or solo q teammates. I cant clutch and im not a god so maybe i should focus on flashing etc to help those 2 guys and then maybe put myself in a doable clutch situation
is this a good mindset or should i just try to clutch every single round
Optifaker Kaz nice comment , but probs nothing u said try to find a 5 man squad to play with and u don't have to deal with possible scrubs
Optifaker Kaz how i performed in silver.me:24/4/6 my teammate:8/3/14 fk...
unforntunately you get this at all ranks. yesterday I was playing a game of mirage as a LEM, I carried 27/14 with one other teammate who went 24/18 but we had a guy leave and 2 people doing badly. I deranked and it really annoyed me, but there isn't much you can do in solo-q except try to carry as much as possible. improve your aim and that alone can carry you to DMG and just play as often as you can as this will give you more experience which cannot be gained in any other way. Use the tips in this video to improve in a faster smarter way without developing bad habits and you'll be out of silver faster than you think. Hope this helped.
y because your K/D means nothing, only the rounds you win and The MVPs you get matters for the ranking system
This video helped me A LOT. Both in CS:GO and real life. 10/10 papa warowl best video ever created
finally reached master guardian 1 after.
a whole lot of your tips helped me!
thank you warowl, for your great videos!
Remember to check out the training maps please
What a coincidence! VAC Wave arrived and I just won 7 games on streak
Great video, Warowl! The whole video I was thinking "This is how I practiced learning the piano" and I actually used similar techniques to the ones you listed here (starting slow, working up speed), but there's a lot of great info here :D Thanks!
NecroDancer!
The first 5 seconds or so made me feel like I was watching a vsauce video
Music from the beggining is from Cave Story? Correct me if I am wrong, but sounds so familiar! >_
It sure is! :D
Sakamoto Machibara nichijou. da bou sakamoto
I played the demo on the wii
it's actually called, Crypt of the Necrodancer haha :D best game ever!!! I have so many hours in that game. only 5 achievements left! and only 5 people in all of steam have them all LOL.
Yep! I love cave story
I like how warowl is having fun in his videos, good on him
I'm more of a Rocket League fanatic but everything you said about muscle memory rings so true in that as well, especially the ceiling and the idea of playing with your eyes closed. Great video!
warowl teaches life lesseons more then cs
I wanted to see him play the violin... :/
watch till the very end
oh thx dude
i think he was trolling at the end
Well we got to hear it every time we watch the video, the warowl theme is composed by warowl himself IIRC.
same:/
Watching this in 2020 & still learning Csgo got me to Nova in a month
Thanks WarOwl for all your tips and trick !!!
That end was sooo crack up
hey and good luck on getting to 1 mil you're nearly there
I can develop muscle memory if I had a proper computer instead of gaming on an iMac
Excuses. You just have to do what Owl said: spend more time. And also - what kind of idiot gives tons of money for apple products? Buy nomral gaming PC and monitor (it's not so cheap, but I achieved it with patience) and you will see that it won't improve you - it will just barely help you to improve. The joy will be more noticable.
Bought a macbook air for portability and to use at school. Still manage to play with 60
lots of globals with 30 give or take fps
Dude, I didn't buy a iMac My parents gift it to me
What's the correlation between an iMac and gaming performance? Other than it being overpriced, with the same specs it will perform roughly the same.
Please make a video on how to talk to mean teammates... plz like so he sees this!
Cyberix Gaming Stay calm, just ignore them, be better than them
is friendly fire off?
Just have a soundboard with baby crying sounds and when ever they try to be salty over mic play the baby sounds
Here's how, don't. Just mute them and pretend it's a Bot game.
kensinG suddenly you're carrying the team
thankyou warowl, i thank you.
stage 1 in particular is extremely important as a musician i can see how this works. i was taught the same thing practice slow. speed is easier to build than memory. wanna learn a riff? cant get it to speed right away? try it with a metronome to half the tempo, build up by however bpm you feel confident (i go by 10 bpm if im confident and 5 bpm if im not) seriously it works so well!
I am currently on day 7 of consistent training, so far I notice a massive difference in my aiming. Deagle one taps have definitely increased. As of now, this is very successful, I can physically see the difference in my aim.
when u dont play csgo for over a year but u still have ur old muscle memory and you wake them up again...
*lem smurf intensifies*
I fear not the man who practiced 10,000 punches once, but the man who practiced one punch 10,000 times
Hey warOwl Sir.....i just want to say Thank You to you because u've help me through a lot of stress and Depression....your vids are fun to watch and keep doing it please....i dnt hav anything to donate but i here donate my word of thanks to You....THANK YOU
Your videos are ridiculously well-produced. Thank you.
when you were flipping the pen, my adhd was going wild
Warowl is starting to sound more and more like vsause michael
Hey WarOwl I wanted to remind you that your videos are great and they really are helping me out. I am in the silver ranks but i am learning a lot from you and I just want to say thank you! :]
warowl i legitimately have to thank you for this video. i've always been a fast learner but 2 weeks and i really really really really notice a big difference. thank you warowl. at this point i'd let you take me as your closer XD
I used to practise Rubik's cubing, I practised so long and so much, I could solve without thinking in 30 sec and like move the sides very fast with finger flicks, I hope to achive the same thing in Counterstrike.
CubesCubesCubes Captain you shouldn't solve without thinking dude, lookahead man, it's important
Pb?
Mine is 18.21
30 sec is plebian stuff, you really shouldn't even mention being a speedcuber w/o averaging less than 15 secs consistantly.
warowl, can you please wear a green shirt just for the heck of it :)
You are one of the most amazing person i've never met
thank you for making this video
Literally this guy likes all the music I enjoy. So far I've heard Aerith's theme, the 600AD World Map from Chrono Trigger, and now Cave Story's final boss music. You go bro!
Lol i typed this comment with my eyes closed because i have good muscle memory
c0rrupt3d awesome man I'm proud of you. I typed this with my eyes closed btw (kinda)
GeneralKnife lel
+c0rrupt3d I else topple this with my eyes close as becaus I hand good muscles memory
its not that hard, but are you fixing your errors while eyes closed?
c0rrupt3d lol so easy I did thatvtoo now
(well I only typed V instead of *space* but yeah)
what is the map that you were practicing on?
Dust 2 - Cobblestone - Cache
Aim botz
Again thank you for this serious and useful content.
I was waiting one video like this :3 you are amazing Owl!
can we have a face revival at 1000000 subs?
Or something to reveal
I personally knew i created a perfect muscle memory when i played insurgency with a sniper rifle and after taking a shot with it i instantly changed to a secondary weapon. :D
Jan John after playing countless hours of Battlefield 1, when I went back to CS, I was pressing Q to spot an enemy every time I saw one.
An incredible well thought out video. Thanks man!
Only 9k away from 1mil. Dope, cool to see how far you've come.
Don't need to train muscle memory if I have wall hacks
Nkt having to play if I'm banned
true dat
"I'm the war owl, and i still have no clothes on"
What lol
You're very very entertaining all around, im surprised you haven't been asked to talk on the big screen yet
Thank you for making this video and clearing thoughts of mine WarOwl i learnt something from this video
If you wanna get pro level aim it will take you a few years. I know that's not what you meant but letting any new players know they shouldn't expect to be amazing in two months.
Euron this is true i only played 100hrs and im just in goldnova master
300 hours and silver elite. That's what happens when you don't actually practice :(
Years of Rubik's cubes have made this easy for me when getting into CSGO. Within my first month I was in the Nova's.
i love this due... u are funny, informative and overall good speaker and entertainer... keep up the good work buddy! Nice vid bro
thanks for adding this man I like how you presented things here. I think I can integrate them to real life thanks
WarOwl can you do a face reveal at 1 million subscribers?
TheMadPolarBear butt reveal*
but i sometimes play instead of studying, so that means practicing headshots is a bad habit
\o/\o/\o/
this video is absolutely genius, my friend. thanks again
Warowl always sounds like a man with a plan. Love lots! 😊
isnt the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result?
Jay ever heard of insanely good?
Actually, Einstein said that.
thats um... an Einstein quote...
Deceptive Cow you are not very smart are you?
That's why you do good practice and not bad practice.
So disappointed... I thought you were gonna play the outro music with your violin
si do si la mi re, si do si, si do si la mi re si
actualy warowl i think there is a huge need on video on best training maps do it.
"the point you shut your eyes and see it"...
that one stuck with me, because up until now i alway thought, that when i reached that point i did something to much(and that happened often). i always saw it as something bad and that i had to take a break.
i never thought it could be anything positive
Made it to MGE by camping T spawn with AWP
lmao
lol see you down mid
You should've closed the video with a violin outro ):
He actually did it. Just watch the end of the video.
Sacha Wilt yeah, it was pretty epic
haven't watched warowl in a long time. feels good 😎
This is me with Smash Bros :D I'm looking to jump into CS:GO in a couple months once I have the equipment to play. I'm slowly working my way to a recording rig. Just bought my mic set next is my soundboard, then my PC (Including a good mouse and headset), then my elgato and then I'll start devoting time to this. I've generally done fighting games competitively, I want to try my hand at FPS's, I use to play Halo but it's being so long it time to work toward getting good. Your video are super informative man.
