Ren can say more with silence than most of the great speakers of our times. Also, at the end.. the gun didn't fire. It's the ultimate symbol of a money game and it failed. (my interpretation). Ren includes himself in the game... he includes us all. It stops it from being preachy and makes it a commentary, which stops people from feeling defensive and makes them think, and then talk. It was a wild ride having this arrive after over two weeks playing The Money Game ARG competition with Renegades across the world - collectively collaborating to solve complex puzzles each day, with Ren and friends jumping into with clues hints, distractions and outright misdirection. Not to mention Pigbae media. And red herrings, and Medieval slipper torture. And Ren actively attempting getting cancelled/ banned for hours on end in with the most hilarious mischief, alongside deep insight, honesty and empathy regarding mental and physical health struggles for himself and Renegades. Then watching the live stream of the final day's prize winners going to dig up their prize, ultimately cut with Ren's video essay/poetry breakdown of the meaning of The Game and the Seven Deadly Sins from his perspective, then this Masterpiece video dropping..... such a wave of emotions after such a wild journey, only to be followed by the album secretly dropping and getting the digital download a day earlier than expected. I'm glad others seem to enjoy just as much as those not involved so heavily in the lead up to this release. For some it's their first introduction to Ren, even for a couple of my extended family members. And everyone seems to love it as a piece of art.
This is the first video he had a decent budget, yet I'm sure not huuuge. It's amazing what he can do with a limited budget and a few friends. The cinematography and sound was top notch and how the heck does he remember all those words? Lol. I looooved the strings. He's amazing

Don’t forget the single cut when the camera goes behind the wheel chair (they had to switch his mic from being on the jacket to being in the tie and they couldn’t re-do the rain part, so rather than retake the entire thing from the start, that let them reset to being in the chair to do another take until Ren and Samuel felt it was the one take and they did the rain part). That’s not taking anything away, it is still incredible work.

All of Ren's videos require several watches to catch the nuances and meanings in the lyrics. The RENegades were able to push his new album, Sick Boi, to #1 in the UK! I don't know Ren personally, but I'm proud of him for continuing to fight through his illness and share his beautiful gift with me. He is a rare human specimen with a huge heart and amazing brain.

My biggest takeaway from this is that we ALL have some level of this in ourselves! Maybe not to the extent of this darkness and uber richness but it's part of the "American Dream", and very similar dreams all over the world. Some of this would be more familiar if you had seen 1and 2 , it is a stand alone piece but the same message echoes through all 3 songs . Ren asks us to examine how we contribute to the money game and to own our part in the destructive outcomes of the money game . The theme rain ,rain, rain , were all part of this old money game the first song seems very personal to Ren . The second song has a more historic take and the 3rd is played out in the life of Jimmy. I dont think Rens point is anti money as such but he asks us to examine what it is we exchange for money, scruples, peace of mind , relationships, family , humanity , the care of the earth. Yes, you need to see Part 1 and Part 2 - musical, lyrical references repeating through them all. What I really love about Ren’s talent is his ability to start conversations. Real meaningful conversations. I think the bags over their heads are because they are all hostages to the money game. Hoods on hostages is a common theme in movies. Back in the day during the Iranian Revolution when hostages were taken from the US Embassy they were paraded with bandages/hoods of some kind covering their faces and subjected to mock executions. Iconic images recalled by the hoods in the Money Game videos and maybe that’s why the 45 doesn’t fire at the end. Perhaps it’s a mock execution?

The father figure here is a representative of all society in general. It's not a story about a specific person or someones father. You have to have a very open mind when watching his video's and his messages. According to his official credits on his website for this video the piano player was Charlie Woof-Bryne. Was Ren playing at the beginning and he didn't include his own name in the credits? I don't know?
I'm thinking that once his father died he knew he'd never have any more chances of proving himself "good enough" to his dad. So he spiraled outta control,then lost his ability to walk,then came to the realization that it was all for nothing,causing nothing but damage.....hence,he hit the delete button
As far as I understand this, the bags on people's heads represent that they are participants/players in the money game (so, basically all of us). We are held hostage by the economy (usually capitalism). Anonymous and replaceable. The videos of Money Game Part 1 & 2 help coming to similar conclusions. I am absolutely astounded by Ren's incredible insight, creativity and all-rounder abilities. And at such a young age. Let's hope his life finds much more fulfillment than Jimmy's.

Some of the "easter eggs" in this become apparent after you've seen Money Game pt 1+2.
Some of this would be more familiar if you had seen 1and 2 , it is a stand alone piece but the same message echoes through all 3 songs . Ren asks us to examine how we contribute to the money game and to own our part in the destructive outcomes of the money game . The theme rain ,rain, rain , were all part of this old money game the first song seems very personal to Ren . The second song has a more historic take and the 3rd is played out in the life of Jimmy. I dont think Rens point is anti money as such but he asks us to examine what it is we exchange for money, scruples, peace of mind , relationships, family , humanity , the care of the earth. It is a good question and one we all have to answer for ourselves .

One of my top Ren. (even tho say that a lot of his songs) It is an older piece of his so more than likely will not pop up as easily with all his new brilliant work
Yes, you need to see Part 1 and Part 2 - musical, lyrical references repeating through them all. String quartet is playing MG refrain, Ren hums the same refrain when looking in the mirror at the beginning, etc etc -- and please don't miss the "Rain, rain rain" words in Parts 1 & 2 becoming a physical part of the conclusion of Part 3. Other nuances repeating through them all. What I really love about Ren’s talent is his ability to start conversations. Real meaningful conversations. I honestly believe that we are witnessing the emergence of an artist of incredible importance in real time. The last people to see that were probably fans of John Lennon, Janis Joplin or Jim Morrison! He is uniting people all over the world. It’s no exaggeration to say that Hi Ren has saved lives. The last time I was this excited about anyone in the music industry was when I went to see a gig in Edinburgh by a, then little known band by the name of AC⚡️DC. ✊🏼🐷

FYI, Ren plays guitar (bass, rhythm and lead), piano and some drums too. He wrote al the music for piano and strings in this piece. Just when you think you have seen all that Ren can do, he will amaze you with something else you haven't seen.

Bootchar here, i got that mug from my favorite beer n burger spot by me the "winking Lizaerd" tavern. they used to run a beer of the month promo that if you got the beer of the month youd get a glass to keep. that particular one is my favorite. Missed my chance to get "the boot" though lol.

I think the bags over their heads are because they are all hostages to the money game. Hoods on hostages is a common theme in movies. Back in the day during the Iranian Revolution when hostages were taken from the US Embassy they were paraded with bandages/hoods of some kind covering their faces and subjected to mock executions. Iconic images recalled by the hoods in the Money Game videos and maybe that’s why the 45 doesn’t fire at the end. Perhaps it’s a mock execution?

The father figure here is a representative of all society in general. It's not a story about a specific person or someones father. You have to have a very open mind when watching his video's and his messages. According to his official credits on his website for this video the piano player was Charlie Woof-Bryne. Was Ren playing at the beginning and he didn't include his own name in the credits? I don't know?

I'm thinking that once his father died he knew he'd never have any more chances of proving himself "good enough" to his dad. So he spiraled outta control,then lost his ability to walk,then came to the realization that it was all for nothing,causing nothing but damage.....hence,he hit the delete button
As far as I understand this, the bags on people's heads represent that they are participants/players in the money game (so, basically all of us). We are held hostage by the economy (usually capitalism). Anonymous and replaceable. The videos of Money Game Part 1 & 2 help coming to similar conclusions. I am absolutely astounded by Ren's incredible insight, creativity and all-rounder abilities. And at such a young age. Let's hope his life finds much more fulfillment than Jimmy's.
