One of my favorite songs by Avi or actually my favorite. How impressive it was when I heard it for the first time and still is. What a voice. I think this could only be sung so beautifully by Avi. I always feel his voice going all the way through my body to my soul. Really beautiful... It was also because of him that I listened to Pentatonix and also because of him that I discovered Home Free through the song "Ring of Fire". (where I thought it suited him better anyway). Since he left PTX I rarely listen or never go to PTX again. For me the best solo singer. Avi will come to Amsterdam on September 7. I already have a ticket and now I hope nothing comes up.

Avi 's work is not necessarily Southern Gospel like "Change ln the Rise". Dont expect this everytime. His catalog is very eclectic so be ready for anything. Hes one of the most amazing singer/songwriters I've ever come across. Its all about his voice for me and what he does with it just blows me away. A lot of my personal favorites have no video and dont get nearly enough play as far as i am concerned.

I'm glad Avi left PTX too. His solo work is phenomenal and no two songs are alike. He has a huge vocal range and although he did opera training, he has also sung with a jazz group and has been writing and composing 'folk' style music since he was a teenager. He's a competent guitarist and a superb whistler too. I saw him in Manchester back in 2022 and I have tickets to see him in London in September - he's fantastic live! I look forward to your next Avi reaction!

They are not a acapella group, they are beatboxers!!

The guys going from left to right is, Improver, Andrey Grizzlee, Taras Stanin, and Vahtang. They are all beatboxers!! These are 4 of the most talented guys you will ever see! Please check out all their UA-cam channels!! Taras Stanin is changing the world of beatboxing!! Vahtang has one of the deepist voices and a beautiful singing voices! He is like an 8 time champ!

I'm sure you'll get a hundred or more explanations - because you folks didn't lie - you didn't know anything about these guys. It made for a fantastic reaction. A low down from my perspective. All four of these guys are professional singers and professional beat boxers. There are at least 3 Russian beat box championships between them. And the man on the far right seemed to mentor every Russian beatboxer, as all of them were heavily inspired by what he is capable of doing, and was capable of ten years ago. From left to right: Improver, Andrey GrizzLee, Taras Stanin, Vahtang There are two other minds at work here that weren't on Camera, Helium (another championship beatboxer), and a young man named Vlad who both likely assisted in the creation of this track. We know that Helium filmed the video, and we know that Vlad helped to write the song with Taras Stanin. The producer credits go to Andrey. All of these guys have solo videos right now that are worth checking out on their own. Taras (Tapac - Middle right) is on the brink of going mega-viral. I'll provide a watchlist at the bottom. I believe Andrey was running live effects through all four mics, as he taps at the pedalboard a number of occasions during the performance. But, there was post-production, equalisation, and audio treatment applied to the recording. It's also likely that the routine was memorised and recorded simultaneously, and then what we see here is a performance of the song while a different recording plays for our ears at home. While there is a lot of singing in this song, all of them are doing layered beatboxing underneath their vocals. Taras (middle right) doesn't sing much, most of his work does appear to be a consistent low bass and various percussion. I would assume that Improver on the far left is doing most of the Percussion. A lot of his techniques are performed with closed lips, so it's hard to figure out how he does his work. Vahtang certainly beat boxes whenever he isn't singing. He has a lot of close lips techniques as well. Andrey has his whole style of vocal music that can become beatboxing when he wants it to. I think he prefers singing, but he utilises more than his singing voice in this track. Great stuff guys! A big recommendation if u guys like this sort of acapella style of beatboxing is a group called Beatpella house. At the moment in terms of tracks theyve produced and released they are the best by far and sound so close to real music. Beatpella house have a few tracks u can check from their black pink cover, to a sort of medley hip hop where they cover a bunch of songs, to their most recent one which is their own song from what i know. They are a group primarily of 4 korean guys (all pros) and a female who mostly sings but can beatbox a little aswell they sometimes also have features from other well known beatboxers. <3

All these guys are accomplished Russian Beatboxers . Taras Stanin (guy inbetween the two vocalists) is fast becoming an internet sensation due to his numerous beatbox covers he's released recently. He co-wrote and did the sound engineering of this track .

Most of them are solo beatboxers from the competitive beatbox scene. Competitive/solo Beatboxers have a very different soundset than Beatboxers in acapella groups as they have to make a whole song by themselves and because competitions put a higher emphasis on discovering new sounds. There’s lots of competition videos, solo performances and group performances from the competitive beatbox scene! You can look up The Grand Beatbox Battle if you want to see one of the biggest beatbox events. Just be aware of different categories, loopstation stuff has a lot of effects, but other categories are pure vocals with just a mic.

Yes it's an original . He did most of the if not all of what you hear in the background and he wrote it. What the song is really about is him coming out of a depression. Obvious been very open about the fact that he has depression as someone who also has depression you really need to have a predictable steady schedule and with the touring schedule of any band or group is not that and it will play Havoc with your mood. I think the people in the video who are arming themselves with the fire actually represent his support system and the people that are helping to get him through the depression until he is in a good place Many people have said that they Envision it being people getting ready to go out and fight or whatever. You're the first channel to mention Sons of Anarchy which is what I always think of when I hear this song. When you strip away pentatonix, and I don't mean that in a bad way, this is what and who Avi is. I doubt that it's gospel since he's Jewish

"Southern Gospel". Avi is from California and is Jewish, but his parents are Messianic believers.

Just FYI, Avi left PTX in September 2017. He took some time off, and this song was his first release in March 2019.
