@MicahFoster-q3y dude yeah it's horrible. I sold my Lynx for the same reason. Saved 120lbs before making the 9R even lighter. Throw some titanium goodies on the 9r and you are about 140 lbs lighter than the lynx
@MicahFoster-q3y I had the RE Turbo R. Great for jumping that's it. I ride the same area as Lydge and for the wet heavy snow we can get it really made the Lynx feel super heavy. The Ski Doo Turbo R feels way lighter compared to the Lynx also.
Great choice on the 9R. I am not as light as you but still at 160 lbs I went 9R after trying a Boost. The Boost was awesome with the power but mid day I would be completely gassed. Put a Diamond S can on it to drop even more weight & it keeps the sound volume close to stock. Cheers.
Now that’s how you break in a brand new sled!! My grandpa always said. “Boy, you gotta break er in exactly how your gonna ride er while you got her!.” (He used that saying for many things… Ha!) Anyways, Im a new viewer to your channel, and I’m so proud of you how you broke that sled in that I subbed, liked, and turned on notifications! 💯
The lynx wasn’t the best sled for what I ride 90% of the time. So I unfortunately fought the sled more than I would have liked. The 9r is much more nimble, predictable, and lighter which makes it easier to ride. The ski doo is honestly a great in between the lynx and the Polaris especially with the expert package
Congrats on new sled! It looks awesome! And it make sense you go with the lightest sled then, it looked like you had alot of control on the 9r, so will be fun to see your vids this season. :) (PLS drive slower lol (if I can say that)) I also wanted to try out Polaris this season, 21-22 mod 146".. but cant find any decent priced nearby. Sick first few days you had, holy pow.
sick video! would sucked if u would a hit that tree on trail ride in 😂!! send it!!! got the 9r as well no ride as of yet though got it in the green color. i love your colors but just thought there would be a ton of those! snow looks mint! this one looks way more fun the the tank u had last yr LETS GO
That tree came up a little quicker than expected lol! Your going to love the 9r. Very light predictable and fun snowmobile. The green will be sweet! And yes stoked to be off the tank lol
Let’s go! I swear everyone is going to have this color this year😂 And chin mount. I just started using it and definitely the way to go stoked on how it looks. You got snow yet?
@@LydgeBell yeah the 9R is definitely lighter but it’s built for a different purpose than the Lynx. The Lynx is very purpose built and I think a lot of people bought it wanting/expecting a nimble playful tree sled. The Lynx DS is more geared that way but the Lynx RS is built for jumping and pushing that suspension. The playfulness just isn’t there with the Lynx. Seeing like how you ride I’m sure the Polaris will be a much better fit for you! Can’t wait for more videos
A in helmet mic would most likely solve this issue. I will check into that. Most days won’t have bad conditions like this which should help mic quality👍👍
Excited for this season! Should I have kept my old snowmobile?? Comment below!
In my opinion what other people this doesn’t matter what ever you feel is better for you is the right pick
Was your Lynx Turbo really 120 lbs heavier than the 9R?

@@SUMMIT556 thanks for the reply, I was contemplating a Lynx turbo but maybe not now. Did you have the RE or the DS?

Haha! Had a couple close calls, thank you for watching I appreciate it!!
how is the 9r power compared to lynx turbo? i own a skidoo turbo and wants your opinion😁😁

It’s a 2024 and was running great all weekend! All stock
I never though if see you on a Polaris, but great sled man
It was only a matter of time haha! Thank you!
We got matching sleds🔥 Where do you mount your GoPro the footage is insane!
Let’s go! I swear everyone is going to have this color this year😂 And chin mount. I just started using it and definitely the way to go stoked on how it looks. You got snow yet?
Miss your lynx at all?
Try adjusting your brake lever down a bit, makes for better brake controll when riding agressive in my opinion🙂 Nice vid, gotta love that 9R⚔️
What do you do for work?
I run a photography business 👍
If I may ask what do u do for living?
I run a photography business👍
Feet finder
great vid Great Content
Thank you! I appreciate it
Didn’t the LYNX have a turbo?
Yes it did. Definitely added some weight
Still not 120lbs 🤣🤣🤣@@LydgeBell

Breaking it in hard eh? 🤣🤣
It said to ride normal so normal it is😂
Is it only me or does it sound like the sled is over revving some times?
120lbs? 😂 not a Lynx guy at all but come on we’re not talking about a yammi 4 stroke
yeah! its about 50lbs :P 192.3kg poo 9R vs 216kg lynx turbo R 3900 dry weight
Okay maybe not 120😂 but this 9r is much lighter I promise
Lynx ready to ride wet weight: 590 pounds, they’re pigs

@@SlipperyDuckyWell said I agree 100% And thank you for the support!
That 9r is solid. 120 lbs lighter than a lynx is alot.
I’m very happy with it so far! And the weight is much more manageable for me all day
But it is not 120lbs lighter 🤣
192.3kg 155 Khaos 9R vs 216kg Shredder dry weight thats not 120lbs i will say 50... 😂
May be true but it felt like 120😂
Fix your mic setup
Lips McGhee flapping again 🤔
