All necessary gear to have a good time in the middle of nowhere. I carry about 30 feet of mule tape (electrical pull tape). Used it for towing, ski pulls, field repairs. Tied a arms and shocks back to the sled to limp out of some bad spots. Tape is strong, compact, and cheap especially if you have an electrician buddy.
Awesome set up. I don't run battery goggles, so I actually have 2 extra pairs with me, one tinted and one yellow. I also keep the yellow in my avy bag, and the other set in the tunnel bag, you know, just in case of that separation thing with the sled. The one thing I might suggest is an extra set of dry socks (with 2 plastic bags to fit over feet) in case you find that creek bed and your boots get soaked. Cloud make a big difference if you are stuck over night. Great video.
@@davespargo5944 Great tip on packing extra socks. We had that happen this spring. We now pack extra socks 👍 If you haven’t tried heated goggles, they are worth every penny!
Good video man, didn’t know you were in BC that’s cool man. I’m in pg I have used the Kim ignite goggles for a few seasons now they are good but usually have to swap batteries mid day. I will take a look at the oakley ones I also run cold the majority of the time, I will see if I can put a watch list on those eddie bauer heated gloves Ride safe man! I also like how you organize your helmet bag for stuff on sled, I’m going to steal that idea
Thats a lot of stuff ! I used to do that Now i reduced it down to what i really need ! Also i dont see fuel for the sled ? I have a 9r as well and have run low many times now i cary fuel
@@alaskanlife4980 It’s a lot for sure! Make sure you’re topping the tank up all the way. I wasn’t when I first got the sled because I had the tunnel raised up in the back of my truck. There was an air pocket at the back of the tank.

Good video! If that adjustable wrench is alum, it's not going to hang in there when you need it. I tried!
I agree. I’ve been meaning to swap it out 🤣
There's a new throttle block on the 2025 Polaris. Hopefully they don't freeze up.
Nice upgrade!
nice set up. i would be curious how much all the xtra stuff weighs ? 25 lbs
It weighs a fair bit! I’ll weigh it soon…

Hi, how much does a new snowmobile like this cost?
New…way too much! Good deals on used or previous season models. Check out FB Marketplace: Polaris Khaos 9R
An average NA 155" 800-850cc sized sled in 2024 is gonna run about $20-25,000 dollars. Even more when you add turbo or longer track length.
