    That was a ballsy move to use the shop vac you would think it would catch fire or something...

      I have to note for others looking at this video, While there is good information on the inside of the tank, absolutely NEVER use a vacuum of ANY kind to suck fuel. They are not intrinsically safe -meaning they can spark. One spark in the wrong place/time Kaboom......... This guy is very lucky he and the car didnt go up in a ball of flames........

    I know it's an old video but that dirt is from your shop vac filter. You're supposed to remove it when vacuuming liquids.

    Did you replace the lines from the sender unit to fuel pump ? Mine were worn out and I’m trying to avoid dropping the tank but the originals are wedged into the hose clamps under the frame and I can’t seems to pull out the originals without dropping the tank . Thought about running them above the seat frame but idk if that’s a good idea . Also I just changed the fuel pump on my Jaguar xj6 and thought about draining the tank with a shop vac but was scared it would catch on fire ! How did you do it ?

    Anyone know what the plastic white thing on the bottom of the tank was???
