I truly believe that the Norwegian system is better. The idea of letting a known murderer go free because of minor technicalities, sickens me. There is no such thing as inadmissible evidence in Norway; all facts are presented. But then the jury in Norway consists of three professional judges and two to four jurors.
I just followed the trial against Darrell Brooks who ran through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin, hitting almost seventy people and killing six. The jury in his trial was not allowed to know that he had already used the same car to run over his girlfriend on purpose. Why? Because it might convince the jury that he's capable of intentionally running over people with his car - which he did. This is insane to me.

I live in Norway, I didn't know this. It does sound insane that you can confess and show the location of a body and it be considered as 'inadmissible' evidence...
But I do think the death sentence should be brought back. Breivik should have got it. Darrell Brooks was probably technically insane, but I think it's justifiable to put a mad dog down.

Believe it or not, used to work side by side with this guy at the Honda car plant for 2yrs between 2006-2008 before he got caught. He said one or two things to us boys on the production line and hindsight now 😳 it’s obvious he had killed before 2006…scary to think we all used to chat and laugh about things with this murderer..!!!
One of the boys told him once (in jest) because of his piercing eyes…”I think you’d kill” 😳
He looked back at us all and said “I would, I’m a sick bast*rd” 😳
We all just laughed at the time thinking it was just a bit of banter..!!!

It is fairly well known now that Halliwell killed many more women than Becky and Sian. It seems the police didn't even know most of them were possibly dead. Almost as if they had written every single one of them off as just another missing woman. It wasn't until Halliwell was caught when Sian went missing and he offered them 'another' body, that people started to join the dots and realised that he had been killing women regularly for many years, with complete impunity. Kudos to Fulcher for catching him in when looking for Sian, but what the hell were the police doing for all those years?

You need to also look at family set ups, women become invisible when they are not in contact with families, the police can't investigate if no one is reported missing. Families sometimes let communication with relatives just drift, may be for no particular reason - if only families would nurture relationships within and keep in contact, then at least if a woman goes missing it's more likely to be obvious.

@Marvin Dorfler Ain't they amazing? That Yardley woman is a constant fixture in these productions, Waving [Her] Arms About Like she's sitting on an electric seat cushion &, for somebody with such purported credentials on these subjects, in other segments ceaselessly drops EYE TEENK bombs like Speedy Gonzales's human twin. The constant deployment of that "crutch" term in productions like this by not just her, instead of straightforward direct observations, drives me out of my "Stone Age mind!" The narrator/scripts here are on point, which [oops there goes another EYE TEENK bomb, from the frizzyhaired male, even as I write] offsets to a degree the babbling-head interviewees, & the horrible topics are to keep anyone's hair standing on end for hours afterward - overlaid by seething rage at the frequently featherweight sentences in "england" & "canada" for their Most Evil objects. 24 minutes left on this, but already I'm braced for Lil Chrissie here to be let off just as lightly. For sure the FAMILIES ain't happy about such things - in fact, regarding an at least improved 37 years "minimum" the deranged killer of a policewoman [while walking her DOG for fuck's sweet sake] recently got, the infuriated commenters on that article were uniform in their views that it should be HANGED, that the nation needs a referendum on reviving the death penalty, & numerous people ripped their marshmallow-brained judges who capriciously tweezer out these pathetic penalties. So "I'll be waiting" - there goes Yardley on another "ET" kick, though surprisingly less so in this chapter - to see how ditch-dumping Lil Chrissie's story ends. Oh If Only the narrator could solemnly intone how, in prison, it ended up raped & slashed like its victims! 15 mins more of this rabbiting Yardley & Co to go ...

I believe children do this because they can't express their feelings like an adult can do. Also, they don't know who to speak with and feel fear if they do speak to someone. Obviously that detective skipped some protocols and infringed on the legal rights of a suspect. His bosses decided that that action had to be punished and they force him to resign.
Now, that was pure irony from my part since I find that when a suspect is being monitored the way this monster was, there's not much room for politically correct protocols.
That creature had the nerve to laugh at the parents victims and went to the extreme of saying in court (out loud) that he was happy destroying that fast thinking detective career.
The more I learn about British law from these shows the least I understand what is going on in that nation.
I learned though, from another vlog, that this bright detective ended up taking his skills to South Africa, where he must be very much appreciated.
UK went from the death penalty as a deterrent to suspended sentences and parole before the end of ridiculous short sentences. I'm personally glad that the death penalty is not in use anymore, but I fail see anything of value in between to fight crime.
Drunkers disrespect police officers, judges give unpaid community work to violent criminals, cops are sent on their own, unarmed, to detain violent criminals, and the list goes on and on.
It is a good thing though, that this monster decided to confess out of boredom or maybe just out of amusement; in any case he will die in prison.

There are laws in place for abusers or those who assault whether they are family members or not don't you realise that? It''s about someone being willing to report them at the time and act as a witness, and of course there needs to be evidence. Many people who are abused do not come forward to report it for a variety of reasons, and that is part of the problem as is the fact there of course needs to be evidence so no one is innocent gets incarcerated.

@@samjohns3227 my point of the post was in many of these stores no one takes the abuse seriously because of the fact that the one committing the crimes are men .
Even the other person that posted on this list said maybe there just evil.
Almost saying men can't feel nothing when being tortured.
There's already many people out there that think men and boys can't be raped and you are likely one of them .
When you have people say men can't be a victim of anything then I would say it's not a matter of if a boy explodes and commits a crime but when .
When flipping off the abuse that someone experienced just because of his gender that will only breed hate and maybe lead to the victim doing something that will cause damage.
Why do you think there's school shooting?
If you ignore someone when there trying to deal with something and you're response is most likely going to be ( man up ) or something similar just know you contributing to the problem.
