@@JavertRA I agree that the bigger plays such as the play that goes wrong and Peter Pan goes wrong seemed more thought out and funnier but I think that's because they had more time
As soon as he said "A few barely noticeable health and safety mitigations in place" I knew something was up just from the sarcastic way he said "barely noticeable" but I was not expecting the robot voice interrupting the scene.
I love how cleverly Mischief adds double meaning to the next line whenever something goes wrong. For example "There's something different about you tonight..." 😂🤣
@The Pikachu Brothers I've read the book of the script for the original Nativity Goes Wrong. Yes, they borrowed quite a bit, but it was excellently done, as always, and life threateningly funny.
The thing that makes this funnyer is that it basicly was what 2020 was like almost all the way through. and now 2 years later the hole pandemic kinda feels like something out of a sitcom.
I wish I had discovered the goes wrong show before the pandemic. We rewatch the shows every couple of months now, but wonder how many seasons we would have got if there were more viewers when they were producing shows.
Can we talk about the character arcs this short implies for Annie and Sandra? Sandra, ranked the number 2 most talented actor in the group by Robert during the Cornley Drama Festival, understudying for Annie, the sub-actor whose acting was so bad as to nessecitate the application of A Big Hat, superior only to Dennis 'To Be Or To Be Not Be' and the (shudder) stage manager (and of course, Chris Bean). What fall from grace has Annie had that once, Sandra was HER understudy?! Clearly Robert was right to warn us about the phenomenon of actors 'losing talent' (as described in his book, WHY?!)
Damn the BBC for putting trigger warnings on this performance. Shame on the hosts for going along with it. Bravo to the actors for daring to expose the truth.
Also we don’t know what’s gone on behind the scenes between Christmas Carol Goes Wrong and The Goes Wrong Show, maybe they haven’t moved in together yet
I think it's a general part of the blocking. Not actual social distancing as for filming you don't necessarily need to provided other procedures are followed and people are tested
I've been a fan of this company for ages. But watching this actually highlights the reality of how the government would like life to be for us peasants. Once I realised this, I stopped smiling.
Imagine as soon as you die you hear “UNDERSTUDY!” and a younger version of yourself replaces you
In an alternate universe, that's how we reproduce.
Oh no, he's completely incapacitated
Oh, hey! Dennis learned his lines for once. Good for him!
He seemed almost too stupid in the Nativity. Here he actually seems... like a good actor.
@@JavertRA that is his character though
@@JA9339 I just mean it seemed like they'd exaggerated his character too much Nativity. Compare to how he is in Peter Pan
@@JavertRA I agree that the bigger plays such as the play that goes wrong and Peter Pan goes wrong seemed more thought out and funnier but I think that's because they had more time
@@JavertRA speaking of Nativity, is there anywhere to watch it if you don't live in the UK?
With Cornley's track record, this is actually pretty minimal in terms of safety precautions that should be taken.
greg always being basically unable to perform anything at all is my favourite running gag
Well, Greg does preform by playing "Jonathan". Jonathan is the one who's unable to preform.
As soon as he said "A few barely noticeable health and safety mitigations in place" I knew something was up just from the sarcastic way he said "barely noticeable" but I was not expecting the robot voice interrupting the scene.
It's the same tone he uses when he describes the courtroom from "A Trial to Watch" as "a little snug."
I love how cleverly Mischief adds double meaning to the next line whenever something goes wrong. For example "There's something different about you tonight..." 😂🤣
Yes, them doing that is always great. Like when they did the episode "Summer Once Again".
Jonathan being carried away by Henry was my favourite bit.
Especially when you think back to the Christmas Carol, "Lift me in your arms Papa. Whee." :D
“I can’t taste anything”
Admit it. We all knew where this was going when he said that lol.
Ok I'll admit it
And yet it still worked lol
Can we just point out that Trevor went from one side of the stage to the other side in basically 5 seconds XD
Pelting round the back of the stage is skill #1746 in the stage crew's arse
senal of weapons
Techies are a different breed. We can do a lot you don't think we can. Like touch props.
@@Loaf_0f_Bread is he a techie as well as an actor? Impressive
@@aidenstanley7305 no he’s just an actor but techies possess powers just like that. They might have given him some of that power for the show.
@markman manmark What????
He picked up that first guy like he was a small child lol
Who else is looking forward to series 2?
Everyone
When is season 2 coming out?
@@bloodmoon0205 I hear it been written. It a question of the pandemic ending.
I'm Looking Forward To
It
Wait has season 2 been confirmed?? Omg yees
No roses were harmed during this theatrical presentation. A little mangled, perhaps, but certainly not harmed!😁
Lost it on “I can’t taste anything!” 😂
one of the most original and funniest shows on tv
I love the Cornley Polytechnic troupe! "Peter Pan Goes Wrong" was the funniest thing I've ever seen! Long may they continue to go wrong!
I love how she just coughs and gets carried off 😂
Good news we are getting a special at Christmas. 7pm Tuesday 22nd December BBC1. The Goes Wrong Show: The Nativity. I have the Christmas TV guide.
Yes, it was filmed back in late summer in Riverside Studios
@The Pikachu Brothers I've read the book of the script for the original Nativity Goes Wrong. Yes, they borrowed quite a bit, but it was excellently done, as always, and life threateningly funny.

A bad sitcom.

Honestly, the fact that technically nothing went wrong is amusing.
People trying to live with COVID restrictions back then was comedy enough.
Good to see mel and sue back together
Haha having to do shows during covid this is so true on many levels haha
I love these guys so much
"Like to push the limits when it comes to topical comedy" - eh?
Outstanding as always!
Vanessa must have been at one of her self help classes.
Chris Makes me Laugh 😂
I really do love 💖The Goes Wrong Show because things always goes wrong even though this is done a purpose as a comedy show😄😅🤣😂.
Brilliant as always, how we have to eat outside 🤣
I have been looking for laughter like this. Thank You
The lack of a laughing is really throwing me off.
Should have called it children in need goes wrong lol
I feel like if the pandemic didn’t happen they would have done a sketch about them trying to steal Children In Need and screwing everything up
"Ford" *snaps twice with gloves on*
I mean clearly we can't allow him to get the infinity gauntlet or do we allow him to have it.
Hahahahaha how romantic🌹🤣
I need to find this show in Mexico, but Bbc don't have the same shows as in UK 😢
You can buy it on Prime Video or on DVD! 🙂
Try using a VPN app. You can spoof being in another country so you can download content you wouldn't otherwise have access to.
Fantastic, as usual! 😂 #TheGoesWrongShow
That was hilarious loved it
BRILLIANT

So funny but sad is that is how people actually acted. So glad it's over
Exact ways of precautionary measures
Hi children in need
this is even funnier 3 years later
And this is why I don't go on dates
There is no better way to crumble comedy than a pre-emptive public warning announcement.
Congrats on that one BBC!
It’s so eerie without the audience laughter.

True, but the audience dont know that.
It's funny looking back at how crazy people got during the pandemic
Some people are still crazy.
This was actually better than a lot of Series 2.
