@@JavertRA I agree that the bigger plays such as the play that goes wrong and Peter Pan goes wrong seemed more thought out and funnier but I think that's because they had more time

With Cornley's track record, this is actually pretty minimal in terms of safety precautions that should be taken.

Well, Greg does preform by playing "Jonathan". Jonathan is the one who's unable to preform.
Jonathan being carried away by Henry was my favourite bit.

As soon as he said "A few barely noticeable health and safety mitigations in place" I knew something was up just from the sarcastic way he said "barely noticeable" but I was not expecting the robot voice interrupting the scene.
It's the same tone he uses when he describes the courtroom from "A Trial to Watch" as "a little snug."
Can we just point out that Trevor went from one side of the stage to the other side in basically 5 seconds XD

@The Pikachu Brothers I've read the book of the script for the original Nativity Goes Wrong. Yes, they borrowed quite a bit, but it was excellently done, as always, and life threateningly funny.

The thing that makes this funnyer is that it basicly was what 2020 was like almost all the way through. and now 2 years later the hole pandemic kinda feels like something out of a sitcom.

Can we talk about the character arcs this short implies for Annie and Sandra? Sandra, ranked the number 2 most talented actor in the group by Robert during the Cornley Drama Festival, understudying for Annie, the sub-actor whose acting was so bad as to nessecitate the application of A Big Hat, superior only to Dennis 'To Be Or To Be Not Be' and the (shudder) stage manager (and of course, Chris Bean). What fall from grace has Annie had that once, Sandra was HER understudy?! Clearly Robert was right to warn us about the phenomenon of actors 'losing talent' (as described in his book, WHY?!)
Honestly, the fact that technically nothing went wrong is amusing.
People trying to live with COVID restrictions back then was comedy enough.

I think it's a general part of the blocking. Not actual social distancing as for filming you don't necessarily need to provided other procedures are followed and people are tested

this my be for charity ( hey idea! stop the bbc forcing us to pay for licence fee and pay their celeb tv 'stars' millions for reading autocues. But this is so unprofessional, everything went wrong. it should of been rehearsed and stopped at least. Typical BBC wasting our money on this student stuff.
Yeah I cant believe this awful acting group is still allowed to perform when all their plays go so wrong! Especially considering all the times things seem to catch on fire. Both Chris Bean and Robert Grove should be fired and replaced with an actual director. In fact, replace the whole cast! especially that Dennis fellow. I shall send my complaints to them at once 😤😤. /j
