- Grog gets another talking Sword, the legendary sword of Kas. From Campaign 1 Ep 112 "Dark Dealings"
But this is why we love Critical Role. It's so fantastically huge now, that you need small morsels like this before you move on to the Heroes feast.
Morsels here: • Critical Role - SPOILE...

Critical Role and/Or Geek and Sundry often monetize my highlight clips automatically through UA-cam. This helps more Critters be born and continues to help fund the production of Critical Role and all the fun they bring to us. So clicking an advert or watching for a while can benefit all of Exandria. Which is a good thing as it needs all the help it can get with the Mighty Nein running amok.

I started this as a way to show CR to friends who could not manage the 4 hour episodes, It has now gathered momentum where I feel an obligation to all those that watch to continue to provide highlights of this magnificent creation and artwork that is Critical Role. The entire ethos of CR has always been to help each other and support each other, regardless of which pigeonhole you wish to define life with. We all love these nerdy ass voice actors and everything that Critical Role has come to stand for. We are all Critters.
Is it Thursday yet?

If grog had a gold for every time he grabbed a seintent sword that drinks blood... he'd have 2 gold which isn't alot but still really disturbing that it happened twice
Super underappreciated comment, well done!
This person is clearly a divination Wizard they saw the meme like 3 months before it was popular... Or just watched Phineas and Ferb
Hey i dont have 2 gold
"Is 2 a lot?"
"Depends on the context. 2 gold? No. 2 Sentient, cursed, legendary artifacts taking control of you over the span of a couple years? Yes."
I get that reference! Go me!
You know, I think Travis chose a hexblade because he had so much fun with cursed weapons in campaign one
I didn’t even clock that fam, nice spot...
He said as much in a talks I think
I mean, I think he is done with cursed blades after last episode
@@jacobbabson6786 :o
He just wanted to steal his girls idea.
When a sword of ultimate darkness hellbent on blood and vengeance says ‘Oh no’ at how dumb it’s new order is, you know things are SCREWED!
"Wield me, spill blood for me, bring me to the undying king and cut his throat with my blade. That's all I ask, that's all I need"
"...it really doesn't ask much"
Fucking gold
I miss Grog. I love Fjord too, but Travis is just so brilliant playing an adorable idiot. The comedic timing is just... perfect!
Fjord is an adorable idiot in other ways
I like Grog as well, but it took Travis weeks to get that dumbness out of his system!
The biggest, blackest sword
the sword is a dick!
-that's funny!
Keyleth squeaks
It's so insane to me that Grog interacted with two of the most powerful relics in all of D&D - the Deck of Many Things and the Sword of Kas.
@@RabidDogma , and he lost both of them.
i have a hexblade warlock in my campaign who is blissfully unaware that they are wielding the sword of Kas
How??
Lmao how did that turn out?
I too wish to know what happened.
@@superj1010 she’s a vampire now lmao and they’re hunting Vecna
@@shadophaxx2401 Heck yeah. Epic.
Not sure what I find funnier, Kas' "oh no", or the way Matt and Travis just brush off Laura's attempt to bargain with the sword.
When a friend punches you and you don't feel it. "ACT LIKE IT HURT, YOU FUCK!" lmao.
Untill i watched this, i didn't realise how much i miss Grog!!
Yea... Grog is fantastic.
i like how grog is talking to vex but then laura gives her husband a look and he flinches away from it
I'M SO HAPPY, I'VE LOOKED FOR THESE MOMENTS BY MYSELF!!
I am Happy your Happy:)
Craven Edge after talking with Grog. "Hhhhhhhh..." The sword of Kas after talking to Grog "Oh no..."
Hey TP, would it be possible for you to unearth the sad saga of Liam's search for Larkin? I haven't found it anywhere.
Here's the card for this weapon. 'Biggest card ever!'
Ahh Kas... or some say Kasm
If he becomes a tsar, he’ll become Tsar Kasm then
I understood that reference
@@texteel I understood *that* reference
Or Kasm???
@@alanyamamura videogame
I’m so happy you’re uploading all of these awesome moments I forgot about!! Thank you, you awesome human!
Your very welcome, Have a fantastic day for today is Thursday:)
That little “ohh no”
That got me good
Man, how did Grog, Mr.Intelligenceof6 get all the sentient weapons?
Emily C because he knows what he’s doing.
Cuz hes the only one that uses swords lol
someone had to be the brains of the operation
Because that's perfect
Because he wouldn't think twice about using them, even if they're evil
Oh, but when _I_ talk to Benny the Beer Tap, everybody looks at me like _I'm_ crazy.
I get the party's concern with this sword because of the last one Grog had
But this is the fucking sword of KAS
spoilers
looking back, it's crazy how close the sword of Kas almost killed Vecna and ruined everything. Like if Vecna 'died' and went back to his phalactary, Vasselheim might have still been destroyed since the titan was still commaneded to destroy it, it might have stopped but it could have also just happened, then Vecna would have completed the miracle he needed. As powerful as it was, if it got what it wanted, even temporarily it would have ruined everythign
Would’ve destroyed the Hand of Vecna, too
There’s a metaphor in there somewhere.
This is easily the best of the forgotten gems!
Yes, which is why david pierce who uncovered it from the archives won a critter prize for nominating it.
The `Instrument` is `Attuned`
ITS THE BIGGEST CARD
EVERRRRRRRR
Yeah my character recently acquired the sword of Kas as well.... but... I do also have the sword of Zerial so.. it's literally Angel and devil on my mind's shoulder. Thank the Gods I have saves profs in Wisdom and charisma x.x Kinda scared of the possible implications of such things. At least Thanos would be proud of the balance >.>;
Lol we found the Sword of Kas in our campaign and we yeeted it as FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE almost immediately 🤣
@TP Burrow - Thank you for taking the time to dig through, edit, and post these gems. Please keep it up.
If they don't find the legendary "Sword of Grog" sometime during this new campaign imma be upset. Possible abilities include increasing your size as its blooded, up to double your natural size, until a rest. Access to a semi-rage state, like some basic resistances or ability to attack recklessly. Immunity to mental effects while being wielded. Bonus to strength/intimidation checks. Can only be wielded by someone with chaotic alignment, and only good or neutral. Slowly drains your intelligence and buffs strength, until weapon is removed from your possession. Idk, something that really feels grog like
7:48 Marisha's Laugh is everything
''Give him some distance'' After he swung 2 times :D
Why this clip wasnt called "the sword is a dick" is frankly a missed opportunity...
At least kas was more clear about its goals. Fair enough lol.
Make a video where grog gets kraven edge and where grog gets the sword of kas
The “and his whole family” at the end killed me the most!
He killed his whole family?
When the GM smiles it's already too late.
Ah, what epic and character driven activities could have been had... if anyone else could properly wield a sword...
The campaign was almost over anyway, and they all kind of figured it would be evil and that they would need to get rid of it afterwards. The only other person who could have wielded it would have been Percy, but he uses dexterity instead of strength so it would have been pretty subpar for him.
I mean. Scanlon had a sword but never really used it because he was playing a support caster.
Marisha losing it is the best
Laura and Marisha made a dick joke... a big dick joke 😏😏 I think I’m in love with Laura
Well, they did state that Laura is their resident 13-year-old multiple times.
God, I love that man! 🤣
Grog...does anything for the Kas...
"Holy shit, there're motivated people in the world, and then there's this Tony Robbins mother fucked here!"
7:42 - 7:50 ooooooooookay then
resident 13-year-old on watch.
... Or some say 'Kasm'
Kas *the black destroyer*
Where do I find that ending song as a full clip?
It's the opening intro for the newest episodes of the new campaign :3 You can search on 'critical role intro' - it should come up as one of the results (But beware: SPOILERS!)
Mighty Nein Theme, It's real good
It's called "Your Turn To Roll" and it is sung by Laura And Ashley. You can buy the song online
37 lol

Lamooo, Grog’s “…aow…”
Vex hits Grog, nothing happens. Travis gets the biggest, blackest sword ever and in joy Laura pulls on her husband with as much effect.
Grog and Travis was a match made by Gygax wherever he is now.
Which episode was this but had Travis laughing hard and saying amazing
Grog is amazing
What song is that at the end?
Dan0007bond the current opening of the second campaign
:)
