Hope you have a lovely time doing the NC500. Scotland is beautiful in the better weather. Ignore the comments about having a shandy or 2 at night as they either must think your 5yr old or daft. I'm sure after all the years of driving over Europe you've figured it out by now 😂 anyway have a great time and enjoy the scenery 👍
Maybe you've thought about this already, Why not on the way home when you get to Inverness go back down the east coast? You can go down the coast to Fraserburgh then Edinburgh or Perth. Or straight to Aberdeen but you will come out at Perth where you would be going to anyway if you were to drive back down the A9. That way you would of seen the north east and south of Scotland in a trip. 👍
I’ve been up to the North of Scotland many times, but I’ve never done the full North Coast 500. It is great to see you up in Scotland. I know Gretna well as I used to live a few miles from there in Dumfriesshire. I hope you thoroughly enjoy the journey. The North of Scotland is beautiful, especially if the weather is good. This will be a good test for your new motor home. It looks lovely. John O’ Groats isn’t actually the most Northerly part of the Scottish mainland. The most Northerly point is actually Dunnet Head. I’ve got many happy memories of holidays in the North of Scotland.Happy Easter to you all.😊
Loving the new home looks like use have settled in nicely and what a beautiful place your showing I've never been to Scotland I'm enjoying watching through your eyes thanks so much ❤❤❤
Have a great trip we did it August 2019 and will be doing it again in May but stopping 2 nights in each stop, Dunnet Bay and Durness are stunning, good idea to go anti clockwise as the seanery is stunning down the west coast, enjoy your adventure 😀
Once you have visited dunrobin castle make sure you go out into the garden to the stuffed animals in the museum ( out in the garden).. We did the NC500 last year and have family in Dornoch..
Just a heads up, Guy's. Just watch how much you are drinking the nights before you are driving the following morning. It's only half of what you are allowed in England. Enjoy your tour.

Look forward to your journey around the NC500 - we’ve only been as far as Inverness so far but want to complete it at some point - great time of year to do it - new van looks grand! Enjoy 🙌 All the best, David & Rachel 👍
