Yes, so mush hiss and noise that I turned down buying the MH a couple years ago after being very excited by it from UA-cam videos. I've been hoping they would address it for the 112 release, but that prayer went unanswered. The gain is so dang high that it's dang near unusable and there's no resolution on the gain knob other than turning it to 11. It fizzes as soon as the potentiometer breaks 0.
@@bradatherton9369 use a after market noise gate and a power conditioner would probably get rid of it. It is most likely like that because how much gain it has. Those amps always needed to have a really good quality gate to get the best out of it and your missing out on a hell of a amp with the invective. The attenuator is a must have for all amps, but seems like Peavey is the only one that understands that.
I like it more than the mini head.
The major takeaway from the comments seems to be 'loud is good'. I support that message!
Impressive sound. Plenty of gain.
It's pretty thick.
I bought this amp, I'm just a bedroom player. I only use 1 to 5 Watt mode. It's loud enough for me
Oh yeah! It puts out plenty!
It was noisy for sure, but it did sound good as far as tone goes.
I have an E-II arrow also! It rules!
Nice guitar
that sure has a lot of hiss.

Probably is sold from the factory with low quality preamp tubes but technology right now allows for really high gain tube amps with fairly low noise
